この木材の移送前端に当接して木材停止位置を規制させ
るストッパと、該ストッパの近傍において木材の移送路
における中心位置上の適所に設けて、この木材の長さ方
向の中心線と合致するように該木材を固定する把持手段
と、前記移送路の下側に設けてその孔明け刃物を前記移
送路の中心位置上へ臨ませて、縦軸方向に対し任意に移
動制御され、木材の下面に対して垂直孔を明ける孔明け
手段と、前記孔明け手段に設けて前記孔明け刃物による
孔明け深さを制御する検知手段とを備えさせたことを特
徴とする木材垂直孔明け装置。
