Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.適合するドナーシートとの組み合わせで使用される、熱転写印刷レシーバ ーシートであって、前記レシーバーシートは、前記ドナーシートから転写される 染料を受容するための染料受容性受容層、および、不透明な二軸配向されたポリ エステル支持基材を含み、前記ポリエステル支持基材は、0.3〜3.5μmの 範囲の平均空隙サイズを有する、有機充填剤粒子の周囲に形成された小さい空隙 、および、5〜21μmの範囲の空隙サイズを有し且つ15%未満の空隙サイズ が27μmを越える、無機充填剤粒子の周囲に形成された大きい空隙を含む、レ シーバーシート。 2.10%未満の数の大きい空隙が27μmを越える空隙サイズを有する、請 求項1記載のレシーバーシート。 3.5%未満の数の大きい空隙が27μmを越える空隙サイズを有する、請求 項2記載のレシーバーシート。 4.30%未満の数の大きい空隙が21μmを越える空隙サイズを有する、請 求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のレシーバーシート。 5.20%未満の数の大きい空隙が21μmを越える空隙サイズを有する、請 求項4記載のレシーバーシート。 6.基材中の有機充填剤粒子の濃度が、前記基材中に存在する成分の合計重量 を基準にして、3〜12重量%の範囲である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載 のレシーバーシート。 7.基材中の無機充填剤粒子の濃度が、前記基材中に存在する成分の合計重量 を基準にして、14〜19重量%の範囲である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記 載のレシーバーシート。 8.小さい空隙の数の大きい空隙の数に対する比が25:1〜700:1であ る、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載のレシーバーシ ート。 9.基材が400〜1200nmの二乗平均表面粗さ(Rq)を有する、請求 項1〜8のいずれか1項記載のレシーバーシート。 10.適合するドナーシートととの組み合わせで使用するレシーバーシートを 製造するための方法であって、前記方法は、 (i)0.3〜3.5μmの範囲の平均空隙サイズを有する、無機充填剤粒子 の周囲に形成された、小さい空隙、(ii)5〜21μmの範囲の平均空隙サイ ズを有し且つ15%未満の数の空隙が27μmを越える空隙サイズを有する、有 機充填剤粒子の周囲に形成された、大きい空隙、を含む、不透明な二軸配向した ポリエステル支持基材を形成すること、および、前記基材の少なくとも片側表面 上に、ドナーシートから熱転写される染料を受容するための染料受容性受容層を 塗布すること、を含む方法。
