Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.2つのC字形チャネルチャージからI字形複合ストリンガを形成するのに用 いるための機械であって、 (a) フレームと、 (b) 前記フレーム上に装着され、C字形チャージがかけられた1対のマン ドレルを支持するための細長いプラットホームとを含み、前記マンドレルは、前 記C字形チャージが互いに対して背中合わせになるように位置決めされ、さらに 、 (c) 前記フレーム上に装着され、前記マンドレルを互いに向かって押す力 を生じることによって前記C字形チャネルチャージを位置決めし、かつ押し固め るための位置決めおよび押し固め機構を含む、機械。 2.前記位置決めおよび押し固め機構はまた、前記マンドレルおよび前記C字形 チャージを前記プラットホームに向かって押す力を生じる、請求項1に記載の機 械。 3.前記押し固め機構は、チャネルを規定する細長いU字形アンビルと、前記プ ラットホームから離れた非係合位置と前記チャネルが前記プラットホームと前記 プラットホームによって支持される1対のマンドレルおよびC字形チャージの上 に載る位置との間で前記アンビルが可動であるように前記アンビルを前記フレー ムに回転可能に結合する結合機構とを含む、請求項2に記載の機械。 4.前記位置決めおよび押し固め機構は前記チャネルの1 つの壁に沿って前記チャネルに装着された第1の膨張可能なブラダを含み、前記 第1の膨張可能なブラダの膨張は前記1対のマンドレルおよびC字形チャージを 互いに、かつ、前記第1の膨張可能なブラダが装着される壁とは反対の前記チャ ネルの壁に対して押す、請求項3に記載の機械。 5.前記位置決めおよび押し固め機構は、前記チャネルの壁の前記チャネルに装 着され、前記チャネルが前記プラットホームの上に載る前記位置にあるときに前 記プラットホームの上に載り、前記マンドレルおよびC字形チャージを前記プラ ットホームの方に向かって押す前記力を生じるための第2のブラダを含む、請求 項4に記載の機械。 6.前記細長いプラットホームに隣接して位置決めされた第2の細長いプラット ホームと、前記細長いプラットホームによって支持される1対のマンドレルおよ びC字形チャージを前記細長いプラットホームから前記第2の細長いプラットホ ームへ移動させ、このプロセスにおいて前記マンドレルおよび前記C字形チャー ジを180度回転させるための回転機構とを含む、請求項1に記載の機械。 7.前記プラットホームの各々は区分され、前記回転機構は、前記プラットホー ムの区分間に配置された複数の対のフリッパ部材を含み、前記対のフリッパ部材 の各々の一方のフリッパ部材は前記細長いプラットホームの下に配置され、前記 対のフリッパ部材の各々の他方のフリッパ部材は前記第2の細長いプラットホー ムの前記区分間に装着され、 さらに、前記フリッパ部材が前記プラットホームの向かい合う端縁に隣接して配 置された軸を中心として上向きに回転できるように前記フリッパ部材を装着する ための装着手段を含む、請求項6に記載の機械。 8.前記フリッパ部材は平面であり、円形区分を囲み、前記回転機構はまた、前 記区分の頂点で前記円形区分を回転可能に装着するための回転可能装着手段を含 む、請求項7に記載の機械。 9.前記回転機構はまた複数個の促進エレメントを含み、前記促進エレメントの 1つは前記フリッパ部材の間に配置される、請求項8に記載の機械。 10.前記回転機構は、前記フリッパ部材に結合されて前記フリッパ部材を回転 させるための、カムで動作される駆動機械を含む、請求項9に記載の機械。 11.前記細長いプラットホームに隣接して位置決めされた第2の細長いプラッ トホームと、前記細長いプラットホームによって支持される1対のマンドレルお よびC字形チャージを前記細長いプラットホームから前記第2の細長いプラット ホームへ移動させ、このプロセスにおいて前記マンドレルおよび前記C字形チャ ージを180度回転させるための回転機構とを含む、請求項1に記載の機械。 12.前記プラットホームの各々は区分され、前記回転機構は、前記プラットホ ームの区分間に配置された複数の対のフリッパ部材を含み、前記対のフリッパ部 材の各々の一 方のフリッパ部材は前記細長いプラットホームの下に配置され、前記対のフリッ パ部材の各々の他方のフリッパ部材は前記第2の細長いプラットホームの前記区 分間に装着され、さらに、前記フリッパ部材が前記プラットホームの向かい合う 端縁に隣接して配置された軸を中心として上向きに回転できるように前記フリッ パ部材を装着するための装着手段を含む、請求項11に記載の機械。 13.前記フリッパ部材は平面であり、円形区分を囲み、前記回転機構はまた、 前記区分の頂点で前記円形区分を回転可能に装着するための回転可能装着手段を 含む、請求項12に記載の機械。 14.前記回転機構はまた複数個の促進エレメントを含み、前記促進エレメント の1つは前記フリッパ部材の間に配置される、請求項13に記載の機械。 15.前記回転機構は、前記フリッパ部材に結合されて前記フリッパ部材を回転 させるための、カムで動作される駆動機械を含む、請求項14に記載の機械。 16.C字形チャージはマンドレルに各々かけられ、各マンドレルはプラットホ ーム上に配置されるときにロードバーから吊るされ、前記プラットホームは対向 する長手端部を含み、機械はさらに、前記プラットホームの各長手端部に隣接し て前記フレームに装着されたガイドヨークを含み、前記ガイドヨークは、ロード バーを受け、かつC字形チャージを有するマンドレルを前記プラットホーム上に 整列さ せるための1対の上向きに突出するアームを各々含む、請求項1に記載の機械。
