(57)【要約】 【課題】 使い捨てのパンツ型おむつを着用している際
の臀部の露出を防止する。 【解決手段】 使い捨てのパンツ型おむつが前後胴周り
域６，７と股下域８とを有し、胴周り開口部１４の周り
方向に弾性部材２１が取り付けられている。おむつの吸
収芯３８が前後端縁部を有し、その前端縁部は弾性部材
２１の下方に位置し、後端縁部が弾性部材２１を越えて
部材２１の上方に位置する。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は、使い捨てのパン
ツ型のおむつに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、使い捨てのパンツ型おむつは周知
である。この種おむつを身体にフィットさせるため、胴
周り開口部と脚周り開口部の周縁部に弾性部材を伸長状
態で取り付けることがある。体液吸収用の芯材は、透液
性シートと不透液性シートとの間に介在し、前胴周り域
から股下域を経て後胴周り域にまで延びている。パンツ
の上下方向において、前後各胴周り域に位置する芯材の
端縁は、胴周り弾性部材の下方に位置している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】おむつは、着用中に少
しずつずり下がることがある。パンツ型おむつは、胴周
り開口の縁部を持って引き上げれば元に戻すことはでき
るが、体力が衰えた老人や病人の場合には、思うように
できないこともある。また、おむつの腹側は比較的容易
に引き上げることができたとしても、背側には手がまわ
りにくく、うまく引き上げることができないということ
もある。そうした場合には臀部の大部分が露出したまま
になりかねない。
【０００４】そこで、この発明は、多少ずり下がっても
臀部が露出しないようなおむつの提供を課題にしてい
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題を解決するため
に、この発明が前提とするのは、透液性表面シートと、
不透液性裏面シートと、これら両シート間に介在する吸
収芯とで構成された吸収体部分を有し、前後胴周り域
と、これら両域間に位置する股下域と、これら各域によ
って形成される胴周り開口部および左右一対の脚周り開
口部とを有し、これら開口部それぞれに周り方向へ延び
る弾性部材が伸長状態で配設された使い捨てのパンツ型
おむつである。
【０００６】かかる前提において、この発明が特徴とす
るところは、前記前後胴周り域それぞれの前記胴周り開
口部弾性部材が、前記おむつの上下方向において同じ高
さ位置にあり、前記吸収芯が、前記前胴周り域に位置す
る前端縁と前記後胴周り域に位置する後端縁とを有し、
前記前端縁が前記胴周り開口部弾性部材の下方に位置す
る一方、前記後胴周り域において前記吸収芯が前記胴周
り開口部弾性部材を越えて上方へ延びることにより、前
記吸収芯の後端縁が該弾性部材の上方に位置しているこ
と、にある。

【発明の実施の形態】添付の図面を参照し、この発明に
係る使い捨てのパンツ型おむつの詳細を説明すると、以
下のとおりである。
【０００８】図１に部分破断斜視図で示された使い捨て
のパンツ型おむつは、パンツ型支持部分１と吸収体部分
２とからなり、パンツ型支持部分１は、前胴周り域６
と、後胴周り域７と、これら両域間に位置する股下域８
とで構成され、これら前後胴周り域６，７それぞれの側
縁部どうしが合掌様式で重なり合い、上下方向へ間欠的
に配された部位１０で接合することによって、左右の胴
周り側縁部１３と、胴周り開口部１４と、左右一対の脚
周り開口部１６とが形成されている。かかるパンツ型支
持部分１は、不透液性プラスチックフィルムの内面シー
ト１７と通気性スパンボンド不織布の外面シート１８と
からなる積層シート１９によって構成されるもので、胴
周り開口部１４と脚周り開口部１６の周縁部それぞれに
は、周り方向へ延びる幅０．５〜３ｍｍの複数の弾性部
材２１，２２がそれら両シート１７，１８間に配設さ
れ、伸長状態で両シート１７，１８の少なくとも一方の
内面に接合している。おむつの上下方向において、前記
胴周り域６，７の弾性部材２１は、股下域８の最下部か
らほぼ同じ高さ位置にある。また、前後胴周り域６，７
には、胴周り弾性部材２１よりも下方において胴周り方
向へ延びる幅３〜１０ｍｍの比較的幅広い複数の第２胴
周り弾性部材２３が伸長状態で内外面シート１７，１８
の少なくとも一方の内面に接合している。図示されたよ
うに、後胴周り域７の端縁部２７は、胴周り弾性部材２
１を越えて上方へ長く延び、前胴周り域６の端縁部２６
よりも上方に位置している。
【０００９】図２，３は、図１のおむつを側縁部１３に
おいて前胴周り域６と後胴周り域７とに２分するように
切り開き、平坦に展開したときの部分破断平面図、およ
び同平面図の前後方向を２分するＩＩＩ−ＩＩＩ線に沿
う端面図である。図示の状態において、パンツ型支持部
分１は、ほぼ砂時計型を呈し、吸収体部分２は、前後胴
周り方向へ延びるＴ字型を呈する。吸収体部分２の前端
部３１は、パンツ型支持部分１の前胴周り域６に位置
し、胴周り弾性部材２１の手前（図１の下方）で終って
いる。前端部３１よりも幅方向へ広く形成された後端部
３２は、後胴周り域７に位置し、胴周り弾性部材２１を
越えて延び、図１では部材２１の上方に位置している。
【００１０】吸収体部分２は、透液性スパンボンド不織
布の表面シート３６と、不透液性プラスチックフィルム
の裏面シート３７と、これら両シート３６，３７間に介
在する粉砕パルプまたは粉砕パルプと高吸水性ポリマー
との混合物からなる吸収芯３８とによって構成され、裏
面シート３７がパンツ型支持部分１の内面シート１８に
ホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を介して接合してい
る。吸収体部分２の股下域８とその近傍の幅方向側縁部
には前後方向へ伸びる一対のバリヤーカフ３９が形成さ
れている。カフ３９は、おむつの前後方向へ延びる不透
液性帯片の一方の側縁部４１が裏面シート３７に接合
し、側縁部４１と平行なもう一方の側縁部４２がおむつ
１の内方へ向かって折曲されている。両側縁部４１，４
２間には表面シート３６の側縁部４３が接合し、側縁部
４２には、その折り返し部内面に弾性部材４４がおむつ
の前後方向へ伸長された状態で接合している。カフ３９
はまた、前後両端部４６，４７（図２参照）内面が表面
シート３６の上面にホットメルト接着剤（図示せず）を
介して接合している。おむつ１が図１の状態にあるとき
に、弾性部材４４が収縮し、カフ３９はその前後端部４
６，４７間が表面シート３６から起立しておむつ１内方
へ向かって開口するポケット４８を形成する。吸収芯３
８は、その後端縁４９から前方へ向かって（図１におい
ては下方へ向かって）延びる複数の平行な切り欠き部５
１を有し、着用者の腰部に沿って滑らかに湾曲すること
が可能である。
【００１１】図４，５は、図２のＩＶ−ＩＶ，Ｖ−Ｖ線
端面図である。吸収芯３８を被覆する表裏面シート３
６，３７は、芯３８から延出して重なり合う部分で接合
している。パンツ型支持部分１の内外面シート１７，１
８が、前胴周り域６においては前縁部２６でおむつ内側
へ折曲されて吸収体部分２の一部を被覆し、内面シート
１７は、それが重なり合う内面シート１７と、吸収体部
分２の表面シート３６とに接合している（図４参照）。
後胴周り域７においては、内外面シート１７，１８が吸
収芯３８の後端縁４９に沿っておむつ内側へ折曲され、
表面シート３６に接合している（図５参照）。吸収体部
分２の前後端部３１，３２がこのように被覆されている
と、当該部は、そこへ体液が拡散しても着用者に湿潤感
を与えることがない。
【００１２】図６，７は、この発明の実施形態を例示す
る図４，５と同様の図面である。図６，７において、パ
ンツ型支持部分１の内外面シート１７，１８は、折曲さ
れることなく前後方向へ延び、吸収体部分２は、内外面
シート１７，１８に載置された状態にある。ただし、パ
ンツ型支持部分１と吸収体部分２とは、互いに当接する
部位が接合され、ずれ動くことがない。図６，７の構造
は、図４，５のそれに比べて単純であり、おむつの製造
コストを低く抑えることができる。
【００１３】なお、図４〜７において、おむつの前胴周
り域６の構造と後胴周り域７の構造とは、自由に組み合
わせることができる。
【００１４】このように構成されたおむつにおいて、パ
ンツ型支持部分１の内外面シート１７，１８は図示例に
限らず、透液性シートであっても不透液性シートであっ
てもよいものである。また、吸収体部分２の表面シート
３６には、透液性不織布に代えて透液性プラスチックフ
ィルムを使用することもできる。この発明の実施形態に
おいて、内外面シート１７，１８や表裏面シート３６，
３７を接合するには、ホットメルト接着剤等の接着剤を
使用する他に、それらシートのいずれかが熱溶融性のも
のであるときは、溶着技術を利用することもできる。
【００１５】この発明に係る使い捨てのパンツ型おむつ
として、パンツ型支持部分１と吸収体部分２とからなる
ものを例にして説明したが、パンツ型支持部分１に透液
性内面シート１７と不透液性外面シート１８とを使用
し、これら両シート間にＴ字型の吸収芯３８を介在させ
ることによってこの発明を実施することもできる。

【発明の効果】この発明に係る使い捨てのパンツ型おむ
つでは、後胴周り域から股下域までが特に深く形成され
ているから、このおむつを着用すると臀部が露出しにく
くなる。

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 透液性表面シートと、不透液性裏面シー
    トと、これら両シート間に介在する吸収芯とで構成され
    た吸収体部分を有し、前後胴周り域と、これら両域間に
    位置する股下域と、これら各域によって形成される胴周
    り開口部および左右一対の脚周り開口部とを有し、これ
    ら開口部それぞれに周り方向へ延びる弾性部材が伸長状
    態で配設された使い捨てのパンツ型おむつであって、 前記前後胴周り域それぞれの前記胴周り開口部弾性部材
    は、前記おむつの上下方向においてほぼ同じ高さ位置に
    あり、 前記吸収芯が、前記前胴周り域に位置する前端縁と前記
    後胴周り域に位置する後端縁とを有し、前記前端縁が前
    記胴周り開口部弾性部材の下方に位置する一方、前記後
    胴周り域において前記吸収芯が前記胴周り開口部弾性部
    材を越えて上方へ延びることにより、前記吸収芯の後端
    縁が該弾性部材の上方に位置していることを特徴とする
    前記おむつ。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記吸収芯は、前記後胴周り域において
    前記弾性部材の上方に位置する前記後端縁とその近傍と
    が、不透液性シートによって被覆されている請求項１記
    載のおむつ。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記吸収芯は、前記後端縁から下方へ向
    かって延びる複数条の互いに平行な切り欠き部を有する
    請求項１または２記載のおむつ。
  4. 【請求項４】 前記吸収体部分が、前記前後胴周り域と
    股下域とを有するパンツ型の部材の内面に接合されてい
    る請求項１〜３のいずれかに記載のおむつ。
