Abstract

(57)【要約】 【課題】 本発明は、侵入検出装置を備えたセキュリテ
ィシステムを提供することを目的とする。 【解決手段】 侵入検出装置10はプリセット時間期間内
にあった侵入を家主に警告するために携帯受信機と結合
された送信機24を備えている。監視下領域は暖かい体に
よる赤外線放射レベルの突然の変化を受信した時に送信
機24を起動する赤外線検出器12により監視される。送信
機24から放射される無線信号は携帯受信機により受信さ
れる。予め定められた時間期間の間、監視領域で侵入が
検出されたことを示す第１の信号が受信機上で表示され
る。侵入者が存在している可能性が高い予め定められた
時間期間が経過した後、予め定められた時間期間より前
に侵入があったことを示す第２の信号が発生される。一
旦、侵入検出器が起動されると、侵入検出装置10がリセ
ットされるまで、携帯受信機に連続的に送信をする。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、ホームセキュリテ
ィシステムに関し、特に、監視領域への侵入を赤外線検
出器により検出し、家主の所有する携帯受信機に時間関
連無線信号を送信する送信機を含むホームセキュリティ
システムに関する。
【０００２】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】電子的に侵入を関知す
る簡単な方法は、赤外線検出によるものである。赤外線
放射の変化レベルは、最初にＩＲを放射して次に反射信
号を評価することにより能動的に、または、監視領域中
に放射されている赤外線周波数を受信することのみによ
り受動的に監視される。一旦、変化が検出されると、シ
ステムはアラームの状態を伝えなければならない。いく
つかのセキュリティシステムは、当局へ警報を出すため
の手段として電話回線を使用し、一方、他の方法は、ア
ラームをトリガーするドアまたは窓スイッチに基づいて
いる。これらのシステムは、両者とも費用がかかり、イ
ンストールするのが難しい。さらに、電話により家主に
アクセスできないか、家主が家主の家の見える範囲内に
いない場合、侵入者がまだ建物にいる間に、家主が侵入
者と出会うことを避けることができない。仮に、家主が
侵入に気付き、どれ位前に侵入が発生したかが分かれ
ば、家に入るべきか否かを決心することができる。
【０００３】本発明は、侵入を受動的に感知し、家主の
所有する携帯受信機に信号を送信する手段を提供する。
携帯受信機に送信される信号は、現在時間に対して侵入
時間を参照できるようにコード化される。

【従来の技術】従来技術は、セキュリティシステムのこ
れらの観点に言及しているが、外部的な回路や電話回線
に無関係に、ある時間フレーム内に侵入が発生したこと
を家主に警告するために、これら３つのことを効率よく
結合させていない。
【０００５】セキュリティ警備人に警報を出し、ビジュ
アルアラームをトリガする携帯受信に信号を送信する赤
外線侵入検出器は、ボルチィマ氏らに１９８９年１月１
０日に発行された米国特許第４，７９７，６５７号に開
示されている。本発明と異なり、ボルチィマ氏らにより
教示されている装置は、侵入がいつ発生したかについて
の参照情報を提供するメカニズムを含んでいない。無線
信号を遠隔の携帯受信機に送信する理論は本発明でも使
用されるが、ボルチィマ氏らにより教示されているシス
テムにおける送信の目的は、侵入が現在進行中であるこ
とをできるだけ早くセキュリティ人員に知らせることで
ある。少なくとも３０分前に侵入が発生したことをセキ
ュリティ人員に気付かせることは必ずしも望まれている
ものではない。
【０００６】また、ビンクレイ氏の米国特許第４，８６
８，５４３号で論じられている発明は、赤外線メール感
知装置に対する電源供給を制御するためのタイマを実現
している。このタイマは、メールボックスドアに物理的
に接続されている閉スイッチにより、また、反射ＩＲ波
の検出により起動される。本発明のタイマは、これらの
手段のいずれによっても起動されない。ビンクレイ氏の
装置は、ＩＲ波の発生、反射および受信に基づいてお
り、一方、本発明は、検出器レンズの視野に入る人の動
きにより発生する体温から生じる温度変化を単に受信す
るだけである。本発明の装置を起動するために、ドアや
窓スイッチに対する外部配線は必要がない。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、ＩＲ受信ダイ
オードにより感知されるようなＩＲレベルの突然の変化
を受信することにより侵入を感知する。一旦、侵入が検
知されると、ＩＲ受信ダイオードによりトリガされたＳ
ＣＲは、送信機およびタイマを起動する電気エネルギを
供給する。送信機は、ＳＣＲが手動でリセットされるま
で起動されたままである。タイマは、プリセット時間の
間、送信機により発生されたＲＦ（無線）信号を変調す
る点滅回路に電源を供給する。この時間が経過した後
は、ＳＣＲが送信機に電源を供給し続けている間でも、
点滅回路の出力は、ＲＦ信号の変調を終了する。点滅回
路により変調された送信機の出力は、予め定められた時
間の間、携帯受信装置上で表示される。この信号は、最
後の３０分内のような固定時間期間内にシステムが侵入
を検出したことを示している。その後、間欠のない信号
が携帯受信装置上に表示される。この間欠のない信号
は、少なくとも３０分前に侵入が検出されたことを示し
ている。このシステムは、携帯受信装置による排他的な
受信のために、送信無線信号をコード化する手段も提供
する。さらに、タイマ遅延回路がセキュリティシステム
に組込まれ、家主が、システムを起動して、アラームを
トリガさせることなく領域から出るのに十分な時間をと
れるようにする。
【０００８】本発明のさらなる理解は、本発明の好まし
い実施例を図示しているブロック図である添付した図面
とともに、以下の発明の実施の形態を参照してなされる

【発明の実施の形態】図１および図２を参照すると、本
発明の好ましい実施例が図示されており、これには、侵
入検出装置10および携帯受信装置50が含まれている。さ
らに、図１に示されているように、各侵入検出装置10
は、監視領域中の赤外線放射における放射変化を感知す
るように構成されている侵入センサ12を含んでいる。侵
入センサ12は、遅延タイマ14を介して、ＳＣＲ16に電気
的に接続されている。領域を監視するために侵入検出装
置10を設定すると、遅延タイマ14が、プリセット時間の
間、侵入センサ12による侵入検出装置10の起動を遅延さ
せる。
【００１０】電源は、電気的な壁プラグ30、変圧器32、
および電圧制御回路34により、家の通常の電気アウトレ
ットから受ける。電圧制御回路34の出力は、侵入センサ
12、遅延タイマ14およびＳＣＲ16に直接的に印加され
る。代わりに、電源は、バッテリ36から受けてもよい。
侵入センサ12は、遅延タイマ14が時間切れした後に、監
視領域中の赤外線放射の変化に応答して侵入信号を発生
する。侵入信号は、ＳＣＲ16を導電状態にラッチさせ
る。ＳＣＲ16は、ＳＣＲ／タイマリセット回路20からリ
セット信号を受信するまで導通状態のままである。さら
に、ＳＣＲ16がラッチされた時に、変調すなわち点滅回
路22に電気的に接続されているタイマ18がスタートす
る。タイマ18は、起動された後、予め定められた時間期
間の間、点滅回路22を起動する。
【００１１】点滅回路22の出力信号は、変調入力信号と
して送信機24に接続されており、この送信機24は、アン
テナ26を介して送信される無線信号を発生する。点滅回
路22の出力は、送信機24により発生される無線信号を変
調する時間依存性間欠信号である。ＳＣＲ16は送信機24
に電源を供給し、送信機24は、ＳＣＲ／タイマリセット
回路20を介して物理的にリセットされるまで安定的に送
信し続ける。
【００１２】ＳＣＲ／タイマリセット回路20は、侵入検
出装置10上の（示されていない）外部スイッチを手動で
ラッチオンすることにより起動することができる。ＳＣ
Ｒ／タイマリセット回路20は、ＳＣＲ16、タイマ18およ
びタイマ遅延回路14をリセットする。
【００１３】さらに、送信機24は送信機コード選択回路
28に接続されており、この回路は、受信機アンテナ56に
よる受信のために、信号をデジタル的にコード化する。
【００１４】図２に示されている手持型受信装置50は、
受信機54、受信機アンテナ56、受信機コード選択回路5
2、およびアラームインジケータ表示装置58を備えてい
る。受信装置50は、それ自身の電源により送信装置10か
ら離れて動作する。典型的にこの電源はバッテリ50であ
る。受信機コード選択回路52は、侵入装置10の送信機24
からのコード化信号を選択的に受信するようにプログラ
ムされる。アラームインジケータ表示装置58は、受信機
回路54に電気的に接続されており、送信機24により送信
された無線信号に応答して受信機54から受信された信号
に応じてビジュアル表示を発生させる。
【００１５】送信無線信号が点滅回路22の出力により変
調される時、アラームインジケータ表示装置58は、発光
ダイオードのような点滅光源により生成された、間欠す
なわち点滅ビジュアル信号を表示する。この間欠すなわ
ち点滅ビジュアル信号は、タイマ18にプリセットした時
間内に侵入があったことを家主に知らせる。送信信号が
点滅回路22により変調されていなければ、アラームイン
ジケータ表示装置58は、好ましくは一定に光る発光ダイ
オードの形態で、一定のビジュアル信号を表示する。こ
の一定のビジュアル信号は、タイマ18にプリセットした
時間より前の時間に侵入があったことを家主に知らせ
る。タイマ18により起動される点滅回路22の時間期間に
より、近似的に現在の時間に対する侵入があった時間を
知らせ、侵入者がまだ家にいる可能性を家主に知らせる
ことができるようになる。例えば、ビジュアル表示が点
滅していれば、侵入が検出されてから３０分も経過して
いない。
【００１６】上記のことから、携帯受信機により表示さ
れるビジュアル信号が点滅信号である場合に侵入者と出
会う可能性を家主に警告するとともに、簡単で、安価
で、全体的に効率的な侵入検出システムを本発明が提供
することが理解できる。
【００１７】しかしながら、本発明は、添付した特許請
求の範囲の技術的範囲から逸脱しない多くの変形が当業
者に明白である。

Claims (19)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 保護されるべき家屋の領域中に設置され
    る独立した侵入検出装置と、 手で持ち運びができるように構成された携帯受信機とを
    具備し、 前記侵入検出装置は、 前記領域への侵入に応答して侵入信号を発生させる侵入
    検出器と、 前記侵入信号に応答して、無線信号を送信する無線信号
    送信機と、 前記侵入信号に応答して、予め定められた時間の間、前
    記無線信号を変調する手段と、 前記侵入検出装置を設定した後に、前記領域から人が十
    分の時間を持って出て行けるように、前記侵入検出装置
    の起動を遅延させる時間遅延手段とを備え、前記携帯受
    信機は、 前記無線信号に応答して、出力信号を発生させる手段
    と、 前記出力信号に応答して、侵入があったことを示すビジ
    ュアル表示を発生させる表示手段とを備えていることを
    特徴とするホームセキュリティシステム。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記侵入検出装置は、前記家屋の電源と
    は無関係に前記侵入検出器が機能できるように独立した
    電源をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項１記載
    のホームセキュリティシステム。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記無線信号送信機は、前記無線信号を
    コード化する手段を含み、 前記携帯受信機は、前記携帯受信機を前記コード化無線
    信号に選択的に応答させる手段を含んでいることを特徴
    とする請求項１記載のホームセキュリティシステム。
  4. 【請求項４】 前記変調手段は、プリセット分数をカウ
    ントダウンするタイマをさらに含んでいることを特徴と
    する請求項１記載のホームセキュリティシステム。
  5. 【請求項５】 前記侵入検出器は赤外線センサであるこ
    とを特徴とする請求項２記載のホームセキュリティシス
    テム。
  6. 【請求項６】 前記独立した電源はバッテリであること
    を特徴とする請求項２記載のホームセキュリティシステ
    ム。
  7. 【請求項７】 前記表示手段はビジュアルインジケータ
    であることを特徴とする請求項１記載のホームセキュリ
    ティシステム。
  8. 【請求項８】 前記ビジュアルインジケータは、少なく
    とも１つの発光ダイオードであることを特徴とする請求
    項７記載のホームセキュリティシステム。
  9. 【請求項９】 前記変調手段は、前記予め定められた時
    間期間の間、時間依存性間欠信号で前記無線信号を変調
    することを特徴とする請求項１記載のホームセキュリテ
    ィシステム。
  10. 【請求項１０】 前記予め定められた時間期間の終了
    後、間欠のない信号が送信されることを特徴とする請求
    項９記載のホームセキュリティシステム。
  11. 【請求項１１】 前記侵入信号に応答して、前記無線信
    号送信機と前記変調手段に電源を供給するスイッチをさ
    らに具備することを特徴とする請求項１記載のホームセ
    キュリティシステム。
  12. 【請求項１２】 前記スイッチはＳＣＲであることを特
    徴とする請求項１１記載のホームセキュリティシステ
    ム。
  13. 【請求項１３】 侵入のあった後に、前記変調手段と前
    記時間遅延手段と前記ＳＣＲとを手動でリセットするリ
    セット手段をさらに具備していることを特徴とする請求
    項１２記載のホームセキュリティシステム。
  14. 【請求項１４】 保護されるべき領域中に設置される独
    立した侵入検出装置と、 家主により手で持ち運びができるように構成された携帯
    受信機とを具備し、 前記侵入検出装置は、 起動された時にアラームシーケンスを開始し、 侵入を検出する侵入検出手段と、 前記侵入検出に応答して無線信号を送信する送信手段
    と、 前記侵入検出手段により起動されるタイミング手段とを
    備え、 前記タイミング手段は、前記侵入検出手段が侵入を検出
    した後に、予め定められた時間期間の間、変調無線信号
    を生成するために、前記送信手段により送信される前記
    無線信号を変調する手段を含み、 前記携帯受信機は、前記変調無線信号に応答して第１の
    ビジュアル信号を発生し、前記予め定められた時間期間
    の後の前記送信手段の送信に応答して第２のビジュアル
    信号を発生することを特徴とするホームセキュリティシ
    ステム。
  15. 【請求項１５】 前記変調手段は間欠信号を発生する点
    滅回路であり、 前記変調無線信号は時間依存性間欠無線信号であること
    を特徴とする請求項１４記載のホームセキュリティシス
    テム。
  16. 【請求項１６】 前記第１のビジュアル信号は点滅ビジ
    ュアル信号であり、前記第２のビジュアル信号は連続信
    号であることを特徴とする請求項１５記載のホームセキ
    ュリティシステム。
  17. 【請求項１７】 前記侵入検出装置は、 前記侵入検出手段に接続されたバッテリと、 前記侵入検出手段の侵入の検出に応答して、前記バッテ
    リを前記送信手段と前記タイミング手段とに接続するス
    イッチとをさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項１
    ４記載のホームセキュリティシステム。
  18. 【請求項１８】 前記侵入検出手段は赤外線検出器であ
    ることを特徴とする請求項１７記載のホームセキュリテ
    ィシステム。
  19. 【請求項１９】 前記侵入検出装置は、侵入を検出する
    ために前記侵入検出装置を設定した後に、監視されるべ
    き領域から家主が十分の時間を持って出て行けるよう
    に、予め定められた時間の間、前記侵入検出装置の起動
    を遅延させる遅延手段をさらに備えていることを特徴と
    する請求項１７記載のホームセキュリティシステム。
