Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.数平均分子量が1,000〜20,000であり、80%を越えるイソプレ ンの1,4−付加を示し、多分散性が2未満であり、かつ1分子当たり1〜2個 の末端官能基を有する低粘度の末端官能化ポリ(イソプレン)ポリマーであって 、残りのエチレン性不飽和部分が場合によっては水素化されているポリマー。 2.多分散性が1.5未満であり、かつ1分子当たり約1〜2個の末端ヒドロキ シル基を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマー。 3.90%を越える1,4−付加を示し、かつ1分子当たり1.6〜2.0個の 末端ヒドロキシル基を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマー。 4.数平均分子量が1,000〜9,000であり、90%を越えるイソプレン の1,4−付加を示し、多分散性が1.5末満であり、重合イソプレンの少なく とも90%が水素化されており、かつ1分子当たり1〜2個の末端ヒドロキシル 基を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマー。 5.数平均分子量が1,500〜4,500であり、重合 イソプレンの少なくとも95%が水素化されており、かつ1分子当たり1.6〜 2.0個の末端ヒドロキシル基を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のポリ マー。 6.低粘度のイソプレンポリマーを製造する方法であって、イソプレンの重合を 20〜60℃の温度において、構造R1R2R3Si−O−A′−Li〔式中R1、 R2及びR3は1〜10個の炭素原子を有するアルキルまたはアルコキシ基であり 、A′は好ましくは少なくとも2個の炭素原子を有する分枝鎖または直鎖架橋基 である〕のリチウム重合開始剤で開始させ、リビングポリマーをキャップし、カ ップリングさせ、またはその重合を停止させ、場合によってはエチレン性不飽和 部分を水素化するステップ、及び1〜2個の末端基を有する線状ポリマーを回収 するステップ を含む方法。 7.リチウム重合開始剤が構造 〔式中各Rはメチル、エチル、n−プロピルまたはn−ブチルであり、A″はア ルキル置換もしくは非置換プロピル架橋基またはアルキル置換もしくは非置換オ クチル架橋基である〕を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。 8.重合を温度20〜40℃において開始させることを特徴とする請求項7に記 載の方法。 9.ポリマーを回収前にエチレンオキシドと反応させるステップをも含むことを 特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。 10.回収したポリマーをメタンスルホン酸と反応させてシリルエーテル基をヒ ドロキシル基に変換するステップをも含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方 法。 11.A″が非置換プロピレンまたは非置換オクチレンであり、Rはメチルであ ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 12.回収前にイソプレンポリマー中のエチレン性不飽和を少なくとも95%ま で水素化するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
