Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an adhesive sheet for decorating glasses which can express fibrous touch like a shoji paper, has strength and excellent dimensional stability, and can be manufactured by a simple process. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin sol having, as main components, a thermoplastic resin and an organic solvent which does not dissolve the thermoplastic resin substantially and having a plasticizer for softening the resin mixed therein is impregnated into a fibrous sheet. It is dried and cured so as to mold a resin- impregnated sheet, and an adhesive layer is laminated on the resin-impregnated sheet.

Description of the Related Art Conventionally, for the purpose of blinding transparent glass such as window glass and partitions, or to express a Japanese style shoji tone, fine embossing is applied to the surface of synthetic resin film to make it like frosted glass, reflective Alternatively, the reflective ink is printed so as to form a half mirror. Further, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 63-56447 discloses a shoji paper in which an acrylic film is laminated on the surface of paper, and Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-13724 discloses that a fibrous substance and a thermoplastic resin are melted. A method of mixing and pressing this to obtain a film is described.

The conventional method of embossing on the surface of a synthetic resin film or printing a reflective ink gives only a flat feeling, and expresses a fibrous texture like shoji paper. I couldn't do that. JP 6
The one described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-56447 is a method of laminating a paper and an acrylic film with an adhesive,
Although thermal adhesion by heating and pressing is mentioned, the use of an adhesive causes problems such as generation of organic solvent gas and durability of the adhesive. Further, according to the method described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-13724, the fibrous substance is dispersed in the resin and becomes whitish as a whole, and the shoji-like decorative effect is not obtained, and the resin remains after molding by molding. There is a problem of lack of dimensional stability due to residual stress.

The thermoplastic resin sol is mainly composed of a thermoplastic resin and an organic solvent which does not substantially dissolve the thermoplastic resin, and a plasticizer is added to this to soften the resin. A dye or pigment or an inorganic powder may be added to the thermoplastic resin for the purpose of coloring. As the organic solvent that does not substantially dissolve the thermoplastic resin, toluene, xylene, cellosolve, methyl isobutyl ketone, or the like having a boiling point of 100 to 180 ° C. is used. The viscosity of the thermoplastic resin sol is 3000.
It is preferably in the range of ˜6000 cps. If the viscosity of the sol is lower than the above range, the impregnated sol will flow and the thickness will be non-uniform, while if it is high, it will be difficult for the fibrous sheet to be impregnated, bubbles will remain and the appearance will deteriorate, and the strength will also decrease.

Examples of the fibrous sheet include Japanese paper, non-woven fabric, woven fabric and the like. As the non-woven fabric or the woven fabric, those made of synthetic resin fibers or a mixture of synthetic resin fibers and natural fibers such as hemp are used, but the fiber density is easily impregnated with a thermoplastic resin sol, and is about the same as shoji paper. It has a light transmittance of. Further, it is preferable that the adhesive sheet has a certain level of strength.
The weight of the fibrous sheet is preferably 8 to 13 g / m 2 .

In order to impregnate the fibrous sheet with the thermoplastic resin sol, the fibrous sheet is placed on the release-processed paper, and the thermoplastic resin sol is cast on the fibrous sheet by a knife coater or various roll coaters. It is possible to employ a coating method, a method of applying and impregnating by gravure printing, offset printing or the like, or a dipping method of dipping or passing through the sol stored in a container.

When the above sol is dried at a high temperature from the beginning, the sol easily foams. Therefore, it is preferable that the temperature for drying is gradually raised from 60 ° C. to 150 ° C. while drying. After drying to remove the solvent, the resin-impregnated sheet having high strength can be obtained by curing at 180 to 200 ° C.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive used in the present invention is an acrylic type, a rubber type, a silicone type or the like which has been conventionally used for pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets. The property is solvent type, emulsion type, etc. A UV-curable / curable type can be used. If removability is required,
It is also possible to use a removable pressure-sensitive adhesive obtained by dispersing tacky acrylic microspheres in a binder. Of these, acrylic adhesives are particularly preferable because they have excellent weather resistance.

The method for laminating the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the resin-impregnated sheet is not particularly limited, and various conventional roll coaters, knife coaters, etc. may be used.
A transfer method or the like in which a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer separately formed by coating on release paper and adhering it to a resin-impregnated sheet can be adopted. When the transfer method is adopted, the release paper to which an adhesive is applied may be one that has been conventionally used. For example, the release paper that is polyethylene-coated on the paper as a base material and is release-treated with silicone or the like, the release treatment. Polyester film etc. The pressure-sensitive adhesive is preferably applied so as to have a thickness of 30 to 50 μm after drying.

The above vinyl chloride resin sol was directly applied to a 30 μm-thick non-woven fabric (manufactured by Nankoku Pulp Co., Ltd., basis weight 13 g / m 2 ) using a knife coater, left to stand for 5 seconds to impregnate it, dried, and then molded. The vinyl chloride resin sheet is heated to a temperature of 180 ° C. to fuse the vinyl chloride resin to the non-woven fabric, and the non-woven fabric is used as the core material and the thickness is 50 μm.
A vinyl chloride resin sheet was prepared. The results of measuring the physical properties of the vinyl chloride resin sheet are shown in Table 1.

When the above-mentioned pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for glass decoration was applied to a glass-clad partition, an atmosphere like shoji paper was produced, and a Japanese-style decoration effect different from a frosted glass-like blindfold was obtained. Further, when the surface of the vinyl chloride resin sheet was subjected to matt processing by embossing, a more calm atmosphere without reflection by reflected light was obtained.
