2. Description of the Related Art Bath agents have been used for the purpose of easily using at home bathing therapy such as hot springs and medicated baths, which have been widely used for treating diseases and wounds and maintaining health since ancient times. Bath agents using hot springs are mainly composed of inorganic salts such as mirabilite and baking soda, which are the components contained in hot springs, and alkaline carbonates and organic acids in combination.
Those that adjust H and generate carbon dioxide gas in hot water are commercially available. In addition, as an application of medicinal hot water, in order to conveniently use crude drugs, one that encloses the chopped dried crude drug in an extraction bag made of non-woven fabric and extracts the components in the bath water,
For example, there is a plant extract that is extracted in advance. These exhibit various effects such as enhancing the effect of warm bathing by bathing, recovering fatigue and promoting the effect of relieving chills and stiff shoulders by promoting blood circulation and heat retention. In addition, by adding fragrances and coloring agents, the effect of making the mood during bathing fun and relaxing is added.

On the other hand, in recent years, interest in the skin care effect by bathing has increased, and many proposals have been made for bath agents having a skin care effect. In addition, bathing treatment has been reviewed for relieving skin troubles such as atopic dermatitis, and there is a demand for a bath preparation which can be easily used at home and is effective. In order to meet these demands, bath agents containing various medicinal ingredients have been proposed. Particularly in the application of plant extracts to bath agents, the pharmacological effects of plant extracts, such as anti-inflammatory action, analgesic / sedative action, blood circulation promoting action, skin A large number of bath agents formulated with the expectation of a metabolism promoting action, an antiallergic action, etc. have been proposed and put on the market. In addition, an auxiliary effect of these bath agents for treating atopic dermatitis has been reported. In addition, the addition of moisturizing ingredients such as polyhydric alcohols, polysaccharides and milk ingredients has been devised to prevent the skin from drying out after bathing. Including such bath agents, the skin care effect of bath agents has become a new main function of bath agents.

However, there are some problems described below in order for such a bath agent component to sufficiently exert its action. One of them is metal soap such as calcium salt of soap that remains on the skin after washing the body with soap during bathing. The calcium salt of soap is an insoluble salt in which the soap component reacts with calcium in tap water, and remains on the skin even after thorough rinsing. This makes the surface of the skin extremely hydrophobic, hindering the action of baths and bath components. Therefore, how to modify the hydrophobicity of the skin by the calcium salt of this soap so that the bath agent component dissolved in the bath water acts efficiently is an issue. Another problem is the bathing time. Since the keratin swelling effect of a warm bath increases in proportion to the bathing time, long-term bathing is effective in expecting the effects of bath agent components. However, the bathing time is generally about 10 minutes or less, which is not sufficient for manifesting the effect. Therefore, the issue is how to promote keratin swelling. Furthermore, depending on the components of the bath agent, especially in the case of those who are damaged by dry skin, there is a tingling sensation that the skin is tingling in some cases. There is a problem that the components are easily altered.

As a result of intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have found that an inorganic alkali metal salt, which has hitherto been an essential component in this type of bathing agent, has a blood circulation promoting effect and a refreshing feeling after bathing. Surprisingly, it does not make any contribution to the keratin swelling promoting action, and that a mixture of sugar and organic acid in a specific ratio has a keratin swelling promoting action and a unique action effect to alleviate the sensation of irritating the skin. It was found that The present invention has been made based on such findings.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The bath agent composition of the present invention does not contain inorganic alkali metal salts such as sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate and sodium sulfite, which have been conventionally required as essential components. That is, the inorganic alkali metal salt does not have a keratin swelling action, but it also causes a neutralization reaction with an organic acid having a keratin swelling promoting action in the composition or in a bath to give a keratin swelling promoting action of the organic acid. It also slows down the decomposition of the calcium salt of soap attached to the skin.

In the present invention, an organic acid and a saccharide are used as essential components of the bath agent. The organic acid is used to exert a swelling promoting action on the stratum corneum. As the organic acid in the present invention, any one can be used as long as it can be dissolved in a bath water, and examples thereof include citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, lactic acid, glycolic acid, succinic acid, oxalic acid and fumaric acid. To be These organic acids may be used alone or in combination of two or more.

Further, in the bath agent composition of the present invention,
When a saccharide is added, the saccharide has an effect of alleviating the sensation of irritation to the skin due to the addition of the organic acid. Therefore, when the organic acid is added and a saccharide is further added, the keratin swelling promoting action is excellent and the skin is excellent. A bath agent that can relieve the irritation to the skin is obtained. As the saccharide, any one can be used as long as it can be dissolved in a bath water, but a water-soluble non-reducing monosaccharide-trisaccharide or a monosaccharide-sugar alcohol obtained by reducing a trisaccharide is preferable. Examples thereof include sucrose, trehalose, sorbitol, maltitol and lactitol sugar. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more. These sugars are inactive and stable with respect to the reaction with the above-mentioned organic acid, and can be stably compounded with the fragrance and other bath additive components which will be described later.

The weight ratio of the organic acid to the sugar is 5/1.
˜1 / 5, preferably 3/1 to 1/3. If the usage ratio is less than 5/1, the keratin swelling promoting action is not sufficient, and if the usage ratio is more than 1/5, the skin feels sticky after bathing, which is not preferable. The concentration of the organic acid and the saccharide in the bath is such that the organic acid is 15 ppm or more, preferably 20 ppm or more.
ppm or more, and the saccharide content is 20 ppm or more, preferably 30 ppm or more. If the concentration of the organic acid is less than 15 ppm, the keratin swelling promoting action becomes insufficient, and if the concentration of the saccharide is less than 20 ppm, the stimulating action of the organic acid is not sufficiently exhibited.

The reason why the bath composition of the present invention has the above-mentioned effects is not clear, but it is presumed as follows. In bath water that does not contain inorganic alkali metal salts, the calcium salt of soap that remains on the skin after soap washing is decomposed into fatty acids and calcium ions by organic acids, and the calcium ions are either dissolved in the bath water or captured as a chelate by the organic acid. Therefore, the swelling of the stratum corneum of the skin is promoted. Further, the organic acid penetrates deeper into the swollen stratum corneum to the skin damaged by rough skin and dryness, and the swelling action of the stratum corneum is sufficiently exerted, but the skin irritating action is also enhanced. In this regard,
Sugars protect the rough skin without impairing the keratin swelling promoting action of organic acids, and since they have the function of relieving the irritation of the skin by organic acids, the further addition of sugars makes the skin feel irritating to organic acids. It is thought to be alleviated.
