The present invention provides a novel weakly acidic bath additive, more specifically,
A bath additive that contains sodium bicarbonate and succinic acid and has a slightly acidic bath water pH when used, with a specific aromatic agent added to it to improve blood circulation and improve the effect of relaxing and recovering from fatigue. Regarding acidic bath additives. Bath additives are generally a mixture of inorganic salts such as mirabilite, borax, sulfur, salt, carbonate, etc., combined with fragrances, colorants, plant extracts, organic acids, etc., and add fragrance to the bath water.
By adding color and moderate stimulation to the skin surface, it activates blood circulation, recovers from fatigue, and improves metabolism. Among these bath additives, there are effervescent bath additives that combine carbonate and acid, which generate carbon dioxide gas bubbles in the bath water, increasing the feeling of relaxation and refreshment, and making bathing more enjoyable. has. However, conventional foaming bath additives are neutral or slightly alkaline, and almost all of the carbon dioxide gas generated does not dissolve in the water and evaporates into the air, so these carbon dioxide bubbles are simply a sensation. It had only a mechanical effect. Therefore, the present inventor conducted various research and created a bath additive that contains sodium hydrogen carbonate and succinic acid and has a slightly acidic PH of the bath water, thereby retaining carbon dioxide gas in the bath liquid and promoting blood circulation. We have developed a weakly acidic bath additive that does not cause the bath to feel cold. Furthermore, the present inventor has recently found that when a specific aromatic drug is added to this, the effects of promoting blood circulation, awakening or hypnosis, suppressing or promoting lust, relieving anxiety, etc. are synergistically improved, and the feeling of relaxation and fatigue recovery effect are enhanced. The present invention was completed based on this discovery. That is, the present inventor has developed a method that contains sodium hydrogen carbonate and succinic acid, and has a pH of 4 immediately after being dissolved in bath water.
~7 (0.01% by weight aqueous solution) weakly acidic bath additives containing rosemary essential oil, lavender essential oil and α
- Provides a weakly acidic bath additive characterized by containing one or more aromatic agents selected from pinene. The blending amounts of sodium bicarbonate and succinic acid in the weakly acidic bath additives of the present invention are such that when the bath additives are added to bath water, the bath water exhibits weak acidity, i.e., a 0.01% by weight aqueous solution of the bath additives has a pH of 4 to 7. , particularly preferably
It is necessary to adjust the pH to 6.0 to 6.7.
If the pH is lower than 4, there is a risk of strong skin irritation and damage to the bathtub, etc. If the pH is higher than 7, the effects of the present invention will not be achieved. The effect of the present invention is that when the pH is acidic, carbon dioxide gas exists as CO 2 molecules and exhibits a blood flow promoting effect, but when the pH is alkaline, carbon dioxide gas exists as CO 3 2- ions or HCO 3 - ions. This is based on the principle that the effect is not observed at all because the To meet such conditions, the amount of sodium hydrogen carbonate and succinic acid to be blended is 5 to 80% by weight, especially 10 to 50%, and 10 to 80%, especially 15 to 50%, by weight of sodium hydrogen carbonate, based on the total composition. 50% is preferred. Fragrance agents can be added in a wide range of amounts, but generally 0.001 to 10% of the total composition, especially
0.01-2% is preferred. Furthermore, the bath additives of the present invention may contain fragrances, pigments, vitamins, hot spring active ingredients, proteolytic enzymes, seaweed extracts, sodium alginate, lanolin, silicone, herbal medicines, or other extracted extracts. They can be combined to further enhance the effect. The weakly acidic bath additives of the present invention include powder, granules, crystals,
It can be made into tablets, particularly preferably in the form of tablets, and excipients, binders, disintegrants, lubricants, etc. can be added as necessary to form these formulations. As mentioned above, the weakly acidic bath additive of the present invention has a pH that is approximately the same as that of human skin, and therefore has a favorable effect on the skin. Moreover, the carbon dioxide gas generated when pouring into bath water exists as ions in alkaline conditions and has no effect of promoting blood flow, but in acidic conditions as in the present invention, it exists as CO 2 molecules and has an excellent effect of promoting blood circulation in the skin. play. Next, an example will be given and explained. Example 1 Bath additives with the compositions shown in Table 1 were prepared, each bath additive was added to bath water to make a 0.01% aqueous solution, and 30 panelists were asked to use it in the usual manner for one month. Overall evaluation as a bath additive (overall feeling of use),
The feeling of relaxation and fatigue recovery effects were investigated.

がわかる。[Table] Comparative Example 5 is the product of the present invention with α-pinene removed, and Comparative Example 6 is less weakly acidic than the product of the present invention because it contains less succinic acid and more sodium bicarbonate than the product of the present invention. . It is clear from the results in Table 4 that all of the comparative examples have inferior effects compared to the products of the present invention. Example 3 The bath effect of the bath additive of the present invention was evaluated as follows. (Method) Six subjects were allowed to take a bath for 10 minutes in the bath additive baths of Inventive Product 3, Comparative Product 5, and Comparative Product 6, and their skin surface temperatures before and after bathing were compared using thermography. The water temperature was 40°C, the room temperature was 27°C, and the bath additives were diluted 1000 times. (Results) The measurement results are shown in Table 5. As is clear from this table, it can be seen that the products of the present invention exhibit excellent heat retention effects.

The subjects were allowed to take a bath for minutes, and the skin surface temperatures before and after bathing were compared using thermography. The water temperature was 40°C, the room temperature was 27°C, and the bath additives were diluted 1000 times (150
g/).
