Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put bias in the same front-rear and top-reverse order by arranging an inverting mechanism which invert the front-rear and top-reverse directions of bills and an inverting mechanism which inverts the top-reverse directions of the bills in the automatic teller machine, and connecting the inverting mechanisms by a conveyance path which by-passes or passes through the inverting mechanisms according to the states of bills. SOLUTION: Bills which are conveyed, one by one, separately from a cassette 20 are supplied to a discriminating device 4 to decide the money kinds, normal/ spoiled states, multiple feeding, front-rear directions, top-reverse directions, etc., of the bills, and upside-down and backward bills are temporarily stacked in a money reception/payment opening 2 in the front-rear and top-reverse directions. Forward bills by-pass the inverting mechanism 100 and the upside- down bills are turned over by the inverting mechanism 100 and loaded in an internal save 3. When the upside-down and backward bills reach a specific quantity, the separation from the cassette 20 is temporarily stopped, and they are stored in the internal safe 3 as forward bills by by-passing or passing through the inverting mechanism 100.

Next, an embodiment of the operation of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 shows a state in which a cassette 20 in which bills are packed by hand is attached to the bill handling mechanism 1a. The banknotes stored on the elevator mechanism 20a of the cassette 20 are banknotes hand-packed by a bank clerk, and the state of the banknotes is a combination of forward / reverse orientations or front / back orientations (front / back / reverse / reverse). 4 types on the back). Separate from the cassette 20 one by one,
The conveyed banknotes are all arranged in the state of the front table by the two operations of loading 1 and loading 2 and loaded into the internal safe 3. FIG. 2 shows the state of loading 1, and the transport path is shown by bold solid lines and broken lines. The banknotes separated and conveyed one by one from the cassette 20 are discriminated by the discrimination device 4 arranged in the central portion of the banknote handling mechanism 1a, such as denomination, normality, double feeding, normal / reverse direction of banknotes, front and back, The front and back banknotes are temporarily stacked in the deposit / withdrawal port 2. On the other hand, the front and reverse banknotes are conveyed as they are, the front and back banknotes bypass the reversing mechanism 100, and the reverse and front banknotes are reversed to the front and back banknotes by the reversing mechanism 100 and both are loaded into the internal safe 3. When the number of front and back and reverse front sheets temporarily stacked in the deposit / withdrawal port 2 reaches a predetermined number, the separation from the cassette 20 is temporarily suspended, and the loading 2 operation shown in FIG.
Separation from the deposit / withdrawal port 2 is started. Banknotes that have passed through the deposit / withdrawal port 2 are switched back, so only the front and back are
The front and back sheets are separated into the front and back sheets, respectively, and by bypassing or passing through the reversing mechanism 100 as in the case of loading 1, the internal safes 3 are all in the state of the front and back sheets.
Is stored in. By repeating the above-described loadings 1 and 2, all the mixed banknotes in the cassette 20 are loaded into the internal safe 3 as correct front notes, and the customer can make a deposit / withdrawal transaction. In addition,
A bill that is determined to be an abnormal bill by the discrimination device 4 is shown in FIG. 2, and is also conveyed abnormally through the deposit / withdrawal port 2 (excessive skew, insufficient cycle, etc.).
The banknotes have a reversing mechanism 200 as shown by broken lines in FIG.
And is stored in the reject box 5.

FIG. 4 shows a state of withdrawal transaction, and the internal safe 3
A predetermined number of banknotes are separated from the banknotes, and banknotes whose orientation and front and back are completely arranged in the deposit / withdrawal port 2 are dispensed. It should be noted that double feed and other abnormal tickets are conveyed as indicated by the broken line and stored in the reject box 5.

FIG. 5 shows a deposit transaction, in which the deposit banknotes inserted by the customer are separated from the deposit / withdrawal port 2, and the pattern detection sensor 50 determines whether the banknotes are normal or reverse.
The front and back tickets bypass the reversing mechanism 100, and the reverse and reverse tickets are reversed by the reversing mechanism 100 into the front and back tickets, respectively. After that, the discriminating device 4 discriminates the denomination, the damage, the double feeding, the forward and reverse of the direction of the bill, the front and back, and the right and front bills are turned over by the inversion mechanism 20.
By bypassing 0, the front and back bills are reversed by the reversing mechanism 200 into the front and front bills and stored in the temporary stacking portion above the cassette 20. In addition, the banknote determined to be an abnormal note by the discrimination device 4 is rejected by the deposit / withdrawal port 2 as indicated by a broken line.

FIG. 6 shows the state of deposit storage after the deposit transaction has been established because the amount temporarily stored in FIG. 5 matches the amount input by the customer. All banknotes separated from the temporary stacking section are correct front notes and are stored in the internal safe 3 for each denomination according to the discrimination result of the discrimination apparatus 4. In this way, the deposited bill is automatically returned as a dispensed bill inside the device,
The funds are managed efficiently. Note that the banknotes determined to be abnormal by the discrimination device 4 are stored in the reject box 5 as indicated by the broken line.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, if a dedicated bill counting and arranging machine 1c is used, the processing speed can be increased and the operation of the bill handling mechanism 1a is not interrupted, which is useful. In the banknote counting and arranging machine 1c, the banknotes separated from the removable cassette 20 are reversed by the reversing mechanism 200 based on the discrimination result of the discriminating device 4, and the reversing mechanism 100 reverses the forward and reverse directions, and the inside safe. It is temporarily stored in 3. At this time, the bill determined to be an abnormal bill is stored in the reject box 20b as indicated by a broken line. After that, the banknotes are transferred from the internal safe 3 to the cassette 20, whereby the banknotes in the cassette 20 are counted, the direction is reversed, and the front and back are sorted.

8 to 11 are explanatory views of a more preferable operation method of the conventional banknote handling mechanism 1b by using together with the banknote handling mechanism 1a or the banknote counting and sorting machine 1c of the present invention. FIG. 8 shows that the banknotes in the cassette 20 are arranged in advance and in reverse, and the front and back are arranged in advance in the banknotes in the cassette 20 by using the banknote handling mechanism 1a or the banknote counting and arranging machine 1c described above. The operation of sequentially loading the bill handling mechanism 1b is shown. Since all the front coins are loaded in the internal cashbox 3, direct withdrawal transactions are possible as shown in FIG. The deposited banknotes are handled as follows. That is, as shown in FIG. 10, the deposited banknotes are stored in the empty cassette 20, and the deposit / withdrawal transaction is continuously continued until the number of stored banknotes reaches a predetermined number. When the number of stored sheets reaches a predetermined number, the deposit / withdrawal transaction is temporarily suspended, the cassette 20 is removed from the bill handling mechanism 1b, another empty cassette 20 is attached, and the deposit / withdrawal transaction is continued. For the cassette 20 in which a predetermined number of deposited banknotes are stored, the banknote handling mechanism 1a or the banknote counting and arranging machine 1c is used, and the forward and reverse of the banknote direction and the front and back are arranged. Then, as shown in FIG. 11, it is mounted on the original bill handling mechanism 1b and is stored in the internal cashbox 3 so as to be returned as a dispensed bill.
