Description
Claims (10)
- 1.イメージ発生器と、前記イメージ発生器からイメージを受けて反射するよう に位置された反射表面を有する反射器とを含み、前記反射器が反射されたイメー ジ中に非対称的な収差を生成するように前記イメージ発生器に対して実質的な屈 曲角で方位付けされている広視野の光学表示システムにおいて、 前記イメージ発生器と前記反射器との間の光路中に位置された後方光学レンズリ レー群と、 前記後方光学レンズリレー群と前記反射器との間の光路中に位置された前方光学 レンズリレー群とを具備し、前記前方および後方光学レンズリレー群が前記非対 称的な収差を補償するために互いに関して整列されていないことを特徴とする光 学表示システム。
- 2.前記前方および後方リレー群は互いに中心をずらされている請求項1記載の 光学表示システム。
- 3.前記前方および後方リレー群は互いに関して角度的に傾斜されている請求項 1記載の光学表示システム。
- 4.前記イメージ発生器の反射器からのイメージは、前記反射器に関して予め定 められた位置から観察されるように意図され、前記前方リレー群が前記後方リレ ー群の前端部の近くの位置に観察者の目のイメージの焦点を結ぶ純粋な正の光倍 率を有している請求項1記載の光学表示システム。
- 5.前記後方リレー群はイメージ発生器からのイメージの焦点を視準の近くに結 び、それによって前方リレー群に見掛け上の遠フィールドイメージを提供し、前 記反射器と共に前記前方リレー群が無限焦点望遠鏡として機能する請求項1記載 の光学表示システム。
- 6.前記前方および後方リレー群は共にそれぞれ純粋な正の集束を有している請 求項1記載の光学表示システム。
- 7.前記後方リレー群は、断面積が前記前方リレー群より実質的に小さい請求項 6記載の光学表示システム。
- 8.一定のコマ収差成分を含む前記非対称的な収差は、さらに前記イメージ発生 器と前記後方リレー群との間に設けられた光学ウェッジを含み、前記光学ウェッ ジが前記前方および後方リレー群によって補償されない残留した一定のコマ収差 を補償するように方位付けられている請求項1記載の光学表示システム。
- 9.前記イメージ発生器および反射表面は、実質的に全可視スペクトルにわたっ て広がっている帯域幅を有している請求項1記載の光学表示システム。
- 10.前記前方および後方リレー群は、そうでなければ表示システムによって前 記イメージ発生器からのイメージに与えられる色収差を補償するためにレンズダ ブレットを含んでいる請求項9記載の光学表示システム。
