Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 1.溶融金属浴の上方にスペースを備え、かつ廃ガス出口を有する容器内の溶融 金属中の無機固形廃棄物を処理するにあたり、(a)廃棄物を浴中へ注入して第 1反応域を形成し、該第1反応域において廃棄物と浴との間で反応を生ぜしめる か又は、該第1反応域において廃棄物が相変化を起こして更に容易に回収し得る か若しくは廃棄し得る生成物に該廃棄物を変換させ; (b)酸素含有ガスを浴の表面方向に注入して、浴の上方のスペース区域中に第 2反応域を形成し、第1反応域から放出される被酸化性生成物を該第2反応域に 通過させることにより流動させて容器内の廃ガス出口に到達させ、更には該第2 反広域中において被酸化性生成物を酸化し、かかる酸化により放出される熱を浴 中へ移行させる ことを含むことを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 2.請求項1記載の方法において、ガスを浴中に導入して、第2反応域内へ又は 、第2反応域と廃ガス出口との間の浴の上方のスペース区域内へ浴から上方向に 噴出させる溶融金属の飛沫及び/又は液滴を発生させ、浴への有効な熱伝達及び 、第1反応域から放出した及び/又は第2反応域内で形成された生成物中の揮発 種並びにあらゆる粒状物費のスクラビングを容易にすることを更に含むことを特 徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 3.請求項1又は2記載の方法において、炭質材料を浴内に注入して浸炭域を形 成し、該浸炭域において、炭素材料中の炭素が浴中に溶解し、第1反応域内で廃 棄物との反応に利用されることを更に含むことを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処 理方法。
- 4.請求項3記載の方法において、炭質材料は石炭、アルミニウム溶融炉からの 古ポットライニング及び下水スラッジから成る群より選ばれる一種又はそれ以上 から選定されることを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 5.請求項4記載の方法において、炭質材料には石炭を含むことを特徴とする無 機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 6.請求項3〜6のいずれか1つの項記載の方法において、浸炭域を第2反応域 の真下に位置させることを更に含むことを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法 。
- 7.請求項1〜6のいずれか1つの項記載の方法において、浴には少なくとも1 0%の金属を含むことを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 8.請求項7記載の方法において、浴には少なくとも70%の金属を含むことを 特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 9.請求項8記載の方法において、浴には少なくとも80%の金属を含むことを 特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 10.請求項1〜9のいずれか1つの項記載の方法において、金属は鉄、鉄合金 、ニッケル、すず、クロム、シリコン及び銅から成る群より選ばれる1種又はそ れ以上、並びにこれらの混合物から選定されることを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物 の処理方法。
- 11.請求項2記載の方法において、第2反応域内へ、上方に噴出させる溶融金 属及びスラグの飛沫及び/又は液滴を発生させるための浴に注入するガスは、不 活性ガス、再循環プロセスガス、天然ガス、CO2、プロパン、ブタンから成る 群より選ばれる一種又はそれ以上、並びにこれらのガスの混合物から選定される ことを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 12.請求項11記載の方法において、不活性ガスが窒素であることを特徴とす る無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 13.請求項1〜12のいずれか1つの項記載の方法において、酸素含有ガスは 酸素、空気及び無気から成る群より選ばれることを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の 処理方法。
- 14.請求項13記載の方法において、更に空気を予め加熱することを特徴とす る無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
- 15.請求項14記載の方法において、空気を予め900〜1600℃の範囲の 温度に加熱することを特徴とする無機固形廃棄物の処理方法。
