Claims (6)
- 1.テレビジョン信号を受信するためのシステムにおいて、 デジタル・テレビジョン情報を表すアナログ信号を受信するための入力端と、出 力端とをもつ入力信号処理手段(110,112)と、 前記入力信号処理手段からの前記出力信号に応答して動作するデジタル信号処理 手段(116)と、前記デジタル信号処理手段からの出力信号に応答して、イメ ージ表現信号を出力するビデオ信号処理手段(119,140,144)と、 受信された信号の大きさの関数として制御信号を発生する実効値(RMS)振幅 検出手段(166)を含み、前記デジタル信号処理手段へ供給された信号の大き さを自動制御するための自動利得制御手段(160)とを備えたことを特徴とす る装置。
- 2.請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置において、前記イメージ表現信号は高精細デ ジタル・テレビジョン信号を表しており、既存の標準精細テレビジョン信号チャ ネルと両立性のある帯域幅をもち、高優先度情報を収めた狭帯域成分と低優先度 情報を収めた広帯域成分とを有し、 前記制御信号は前記狭帯域成分から導き出されることを特徴とする装置。
- 3.請求の範囲第2項に記載の装置において、前記狭帯域成分は直交振幅変調( QAM)信号であることを特徴とする装置。
- 4.請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置において、前記アナログ信号を、前記デジタ ル信号処理手段に処理させるためのデジタル信号に変換するためのアナログーデ ジタル変換手段をきらに含み、前記自動利得制御手段は、該アナログーデジタル 変換手段に入力されるアナログ信号の大きさを制御することを特徴とする装置。
- 5.請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置において、前記RMS振幅検出手段の前段に 置かれたインパルス・ノイズ制限手段をさらに含むことを特徴とする装置。
- 6.請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置において、前記制御信号は、前記入力信号処 理手段のRFステージおよびIFステージの利得制御入力端に入力されることを 特徴とする装置。
