と、この移動コラムに昇降自在に支持した昇降体と、こ
の昇降体に前後動自在に支持した主軸ヘッドとを備えて
成る工作機械において、機台には、機台前方の加工領域
と移動コラムとを区画し、主軸の上下左右方向の移動範
囲を開口窓部とした防塵カバーを設け、昇降体には、主
軸が突出する突出孔を形成した防塵板を開口窓部に近接
して設け、この防塵板を、昇降体が上昇端に位置してい
るとき、左右方向の板幅でもって開口窓部の上下方向全
長を略塞ぐ上下方向長さで形成し、この防塵板の上端に
は、移動コラムに設けた巻取ローラに巻取られる上防塵
シートの先端を取付け、この上防塵シートを、昇降体が
任意の昇降位置に位置しても、開口窓部における防塵板
の直上の開口空間を塞ぐように構成し、移動コラムに
は、防塵板の左右端縁と対応する位置に、機台固定側に
設けた巻取ローラに夫々巻取られる左右防塵シートの先
端を取付け、これらの左右防塵シートを、移動コラムが
任意の左右方向位置に位置しても、開口窓部における防
塵板及び上防塵シートの左右側方の開口空間を塞ぐよう
に構成したことを特徴とする工作機械の防塵装置。

取付け、これらの左右防塵シートを、移動コラムが任意
の左右方向位置に位置しても、開口窓部における防塵板
及び上下防塵シートの左右側方の開口空間を塞ぐように
構成したことを特徴とする工作機械の防塵装置。
