リップ8の堆積から第1クリップ8aをあご部11に進

性が減少する。

れている。この支持機構は、組織への適用の間の結さく
クリップのための縦方向の支持、及び内視鏡的手術の時
に套管針のカニュール105を通して挿入する間のあご
部11の横方向の支持を与える。図13及び14でわか
る通り、器具のあご部11が解放されている時に、結さ
くクリップ8は器具のあご部分11a及び11bの間に
置かれる。供給棒9は完全に前進している。器具を套管
針のカニュールを通して挿入し、組織に適用する時、あ
ご部が閉じないようにすることが重要である。図14で
わかる通り、供給棒9上に外側への突起132がある。
これらの外側への突起132は、あご部内のクリップ8
のアングルアームに接続している。又、供給棒9の外端
130はそいであり、それはあご部11の内端136に
接触している。

図15Aに示す通り、カムチャネル12の前面にZ型の
接合部142,142aがあり、カムチャネル12を機
械的に合わせている。このZ型の機械的錠がクリップ形
成の間のカムチャネルの横方向(側から側)の歪みを減
少させる。このようにしてカムチャネル12の縦方向の
動きが起こる間、カムチャネル12の横方向の動きが妨
げられる。従ってカムチャネル12に挿入されたZ型の
機械的錠142及び142Aは、カムチャネル12の寸
法安定性を増し、結さくクリップ8の閉止の確実性を向
上させる。

通り、これにより斜めのラッチ17がフォーマープレー
ト22の壁150とかみ合う。従ってこの多重冗長方式
は、あご部11により器具の前端で最後のクリップ8が
発射された後に器具の後方と同様に器具を閉鎖すること
を可能にする。ロックアウトレバー6は、クリップ軌道
4にクリップ8が残っていない時にのみその場所に回転
する。クリップ8が残っている場合、供給バネ5はレバ
ー6が供給棒9の路内に回転するようにフィードシュー

立ち上がる。クリップの閉止及び床10の立ち上がりの
間ずっと、フィンガーを保持しているクリップの通気突
起156は、クリップ8及びあご部11Aならびに11
Bのクリップ形成領域の面に留どまり、クリップ8の頂
点の後方に位置している。これは図16Cでより良くわ
かる。従ってあご部11に保持されたクリップ8の動き
は常に制御され、床10のフィンガー156及び突起1

る。歪みが最小になるので、あご部11a及び11bは
改良させたクリップ閉止機構も与える。これにより寸法
の最小化と共に器具の信頼性が得られる。

あご部内へのクリップの二重供給の可能性を最小にする
ことにより行う。系は2つの独立した部分を含む。クリ

リップアプライヤーの軸集合体のほとんど末端近辺に位
置する封止機構が開示されている。封止機構の断面は円
形であり、軸支持管15内に破砕リブ196を通してし
っかりとまっている。封止機構内に、図20で定義する
3つの室190,192があり、それを通って器具の供
給及び形成機構が通過する。第1室190は、それを通
ってシーラント液を注入することができる領域である。
シーラントは、挿入孔194,198を通って挿入する
ことができる。外部の第2室192は、シーラントのス
ピル−オーバー領域となっている。これは図20でより
良くわかる。封止機構の末端は、シーラントが室190
から器具の機能領域に移動するのを防ぐために閉じられ
る。

クアップレバー19は、抗バックアップ機構を無効にし
なければならない場合、フォーマープレート22から歯
214をはずす傾向のあるカム表面を持つ。

クリップ8をあご部11の形成領域内に保持し、クリッ

リップの閉止が緩すぎたり、きつすぎたりして組織を痛
める可能性を防ぐ。この考えがより確実なクリップの閉
止を促進し、組織に損傷を与える可能性を最小にする。

る。従って多くの目的及び特徴を記載したが、本発明の
目的は添付クレイム及びその同等物から誘導されるもの
と理解するべきである。
