- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.心房中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合することができ、心房収縮力 または収縮速度を上昇させることができる化合物の治療的有効量を、病理学的に 減少した心拍出量を呈している患者に投与することにより心拍出量を増大させる 方法。 2.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項1に記載の方法。 3.該患者がヒトであり、該化合物がヒトリラキシンである請求項2に記載の方 法。 4.該化合物が、H2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンである請求項3に記載の 方法。 5.該化合物が、天然のH2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンのアミノ酸配列を 含む請求項4に記載の方法。 6.該化合物が、H2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンの完全長のA−鎖および カルボキシ末端が短縮されたB−鎖を含む請求項4に記載の方法。 7.該化合物が、H2リラキシンA−鎖A(1−24)、A(2−24)、A( 3−24)のいずれか1つとH2リラキシンB−鎖B(−1−23)〜B(−1 −32)のいずれか1つとの組み合わせを含む請求項4に記載の方法。 8.H2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンが、液体の注射可能な医薬製剤の形態 で投与される請求項4に記載の方法。 9.該製剤が、治療的有効量のH2リラキシンを4.5〜5.5の緩衝液中に含 む請求項8に記載の方法。 10.心不全を治療するための方法であって、そのような治療を必要とする患者 に、心房中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合することができ、心房収縮力 または収縮速度を上昇させることができる化合物の治療的有効量を投与すること による方法。 11.該心不全がうっ血性心不全である請求項10に記載の方法。 12.該患者がヒトであり、該化合物がリラキシンである請求項11に記載の方 法。 13.該化合物がH2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンである請求項12に記載 の方法。 14.心不全またはそれに関連した状態の治療に適している別の治療薬の投与を 含む請求項13に記載の方法。 15.該心不全が急性心不全であり、該投与が治療的有効量のH2リラキシンま たはH1リラキシンを含む液体医薬製剤の静脈内注射による請求項13に記載の 方法。 16.心臓の変力性または変時性を刺激する方法であって、そのような刺激を必 要とする患者に、心房中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合することができ 、心房収縮力または収縮速度を上昇させることができる化合物の治療的有効量を 投与することからなる方法。 17.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項16に記載の方法。 18.該化合物が、H2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンである請求項16に記 載の方法。 19.心臓の変力性を刺激し得る別の治療薬の投与を含む請求項18に記載の方 法。 20.急性心不全後の心機能を回復させる方法であって、そのような治療を必要 とする患者に、心房中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合し得る化合物の、 心筋の収縮性を低下前のレベルに回復させ得る量を含む液体医薬製剤を静脈内投 与することからなる方法。 21.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項20に記載の方法。 22.該化合物が、H2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンである請求項21に記 載の方法。 23.少なくとも一つの別の心臓血管薬による治療をさらに含む請求項22に記 載の方法。 24.洞性除脈を有する患者に、心臓のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合し 得る化合物の、心拍数を正常レベルヘと上昇させるに有効な量を投与することか らなる心拍数を上昇させる方法。 25.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項24に記載の方法。 26.該患者がヒトであり、該リラキシンがヒトリラキシンである請求項25に 記載の方法。 27.該化合物が、H2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンである請求項26に記 載の方法。 28.リラキシンが、H2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンの完全長のA−鎖お よびカルボキシ末端が短縮されたB−鎖を含む請求項26に記載の方法。 29.リラキシンが、H2リラキシンA−鎖A(1−24)、A(2−24)、 A(3−24)のいずれか1つとH2リラキシンB−鎖B(−1−23)〜B( −1−32)のいずれか1つとの組み合わせを含む請求項26に記載の方法。 30.H2リラキシンまたはH1リラキシンが、液体の注射可能な医薬製剤の形 態で投与される請求項27に記載の方法。 31.該製剤が、治療的有効量のH2リラキシンを4.5〜5.5の緩衝液中に 含む請求項30に記載の方法。 32.治療される患者の心臓が洞房(SA)結節機能に欠陥を有する請求項26 に記載の方法。 33.心拍数の増加が変力性の効果を伴わない請求項32に記載の方法。 34.成人ヒト患者を治療し、心拍数の正常レベルが約60〜約100拍動/分 の間である請求項26に記載の方法。 35.該治療を、症候性の除脈を有する患者にペースメーカーを移植する前に行 う請求項34に記載の方法。 36.該除脈が下壁心筋梗塞後の一過性の除脈である請求項34に記載の方法。 37.神経退化性疾患を治療するための方法であって、そのような治療を必要と する患者に、脳のリラキシンレセプターに選択的に結合し得る化合物の治療的有 効量を投与することからなる方法。 38.該レセプターが脳の海馬または前嗅覚核中に存在する請求項37に記載の 方法。 39.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項38に記載の方法。 40.該神経退化性疾患がアルツハイマー病である請求項39に記載の方法。 41.心房中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合することができ、心房収縮 力または収縮速度を上昇させることができる化合物の使用であって、心拍出量を 増大させるための医薬組成物を製造する際に該化合物の治療的有効量を薬学的に 許容し得る担体と混合することからなる使用。 42.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項41に記載の使用。 43.心房中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合することができ、心房収縮 力または収縮速度を上昇させることができる化合物の使用であって、心不全を治 療するための医薬組成物を製造する際に該化合物の治療的有効量を薬学的に許容 し得る担体と混合することからなる使用。 44.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項43に記載の使用。 45.心房中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合することができ、心房収縮 力または収縮速度を上昇させることができる化合物の使用であって、心臓の変力 性または変時性を刺激するための医薬組成物を製造する際に該化合物の治療的有 効量を薬学的に許容し得る担体と混合することからなる使用。 46.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項45に記載の使用。 17.心房中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合し得る化合物の使用であっ て、急性心不全後の心機能を回復させるための液体医薬製剤を製造する際に、心 筋収縮性を低下前のレベルに回復させ得る量の該化合物を液体医薬担体と混合す ることからなる使用。 48.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項47に記載の使用。 49.心臓中のリラキシンレセプターに特異的に結合し得る化合物の使用であっ て、洞性除脈を治療するための医薬組成物を製造する際に、心拍数の正常レベル ヘの増加に有効な量の該化合物を薬学的に許容し得る担体と混合することからな る使用。 50.該化合物がリラキシンである請求項49に記載の方法。 51.脳中のリラキシンレセプターに選択的に結合し得る化合物の使用であって 、神経退化性疾患を治療するための医薬組成物を製造する際に該化合物の治療的 有効量を薬学的に許容し得る担体と混合することからなる使用。 52.該疾患がアルツハイマー病であり、該化合物がリラキシンである請求項5 1に記載の使用。
