Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.披着体を接着するのに利用できる、電子レンジの中で利用するためのマイク ロ波活性化性自己制御性接着物品であって:a)ホットメルト又は熱硬化性接着 剤より成る基体;及びb)前記基体の少なくとも一部の上に位置する少なくとも 電気的に半導性であるマイクロ波放射線吸収材料のマイクロ波感受層;を含んで なり、前記感受層は、前記基体を融解するのに十分なる所望のレベル以上に前記 基体の温度を上昇させるためのマイクロ波放射に対する暴露に対して応答性であ り、それ故前記の所望の温度レベルが達せられたときに前記感受層は不活性化さ れる、物品。 2.前記基体が60℃〜150℃の温度で融解する、請求項1に記載の物品。 3.前記基体が80℃〜120℃の温度で融解する、請求項1に記載の物品。 4.前記基体が、エチレンビニルアセテート、エテレンエチルアクリレート、エ チレンアクリル酸、エチレンメタクリル酸、ポリエチレン、ポリアミド、エチレ ンビニルエステル及びそれらの混合物より成る群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載 の物品5.前記基体がアルキド、クマロン−インゲン、フェノール系、ロージン 及びテルペン樹脂、並びにそれらの組合せより成る群から選ばれる、請求項1に 記載の物品。 6.前記基体が熱活性化性フェノール系樹脂、アミノ樹脂、ニトリルゴム、ネオ プレンゴム、エポキシ樹脂、イソシアネートポリマー、ビニルモノマー及びそれ らの混合物より成る群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載の物品。 7.前記基体がエチレンアクリル酸/ポリエチレン配合体である請求項1に記載 の物品。 8.前記感受層が5〜5000オーム/スクエアーのシート抵抗を有する請求項 1に記載の物品。 9.前記感受層が15〜1000オーム/スクエアーのシート抵抗を有する請求 項1に記載の物品。 10.前記感受層が前記物品の1重量%以下を構成する請求項1に記載の物品。 11.前記感受層が前記物品の0.01重量%以下を構成する請求項1に記載の 物品。 12.前記感受層が0.2オーム/スクエアー以上のシート抵抗を有する請求項 1に記載の物品。 13.前記感受層が、鉄、ニッケル、ステンレススチール、スズ、チタン、マグ ネシウム、アルミニウム、銀、タングステン、銅、金及びクロムより成る群から 選ばれる金属である請求項1に記載の物品。 14.前記感受層が約60〜1000オングストロームの厚みである請求項1に 記載の物品。 15.前記感受層が約70〜170オングストロームの厚みである請求項1に記 載の物品。 16.前記感受層が、ポリピロル、ポリアニリン及びポリチオフェンより成る群 から選ばれるポリマーコーティングである、請求項1に記載の物品。 17.前記感受層が前記基体と実質的に同一空間にわたる、請求項1に記載の物 品。 18.a)ハブ; b)パッド; を含んで成り、前記パッドが第一面から突き出た複数の糸タフト及び第二面上に 露出した複数の糸ステッチを含んで成り、ここで前記パッドが前記ハブに請求項 1に記載の物品により接着されている、バフ集成体。 19.a)バブ; b)一対のパッド; を含んで成り、前記の各パッドは第一面から突き出た複数の糸タフト及び第二面 上に露出した複数の糸ステッチを含んで成り、ここで前記パッドは前記ハブの対 立面に請求項1に記載の物品によって接着されている、バフ集成体。 20.マイクロ波ホットメルト又は熱硬化性接着剤を利用して被着体を結合させ るための方法であって、 a)請求項1に記載の物品を被着体の間に配置し;b)被着体と配置した物品と の密接な接触を維持するのに十分な圧力を適用し;次いで c)配置した物品及び披着体にマイクロ波エネルギーを、この基体の少なくとも 大半が融解又は変形するまで照射すること;を含んで成る方法。 21.前記被着体が不均一な状態で熱エネルギーを吸収する、請求項20に記載 の方法。 22.バフパッドを作るための方法であって;a)バフ集成体のバフパッドの間 に請求項1に記載の物品を配置し; b)このバフパッドと配置した物品との密接な接触を維持するのに十分な圧力を 適用し;次いで c)このバフパッドにこの基体の少なくとも大半が融解又は変形するまでマイク ロ波エネルギーを照射すること;を含んで成る方法。
