Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 1.(a)一定容量の検体を作用サイトに保持するための保持手段(ただし、そ の保持手段は実質的に作用サイトに接触しない。);および (b)保持手段から過剰な検体を除去するための、保持手段の端に位置するシン ク手段 を含む液体検体中の分析対象物質の存在または濃度を測定するために使用するア ッセイデバイス。
- 2.作用サイトが、検体中の分析対象物質との接触に応答して検出可能な変化を 生じる試薬層である、請求の範囲第1項記載のデバイス。
- 3.保持手段が網である、請求の範囲第1項記載のデバイス。
- 4.網がポリエステル織物から製造された、請求の範囲第3項記載のデバイス。
- 5.網が界面活性剤で処理されている、請求の範囲第3項記載のデバイス。
- 6.シンク手段がセルロース材、織布および不織布、およびそれらの組合せから 成る群より選択された材料から製造された、請求の範囲第1項記載のデバイス。
- 7.材料が界面活性剤で処理されている、請求の範囲第6項記載のデバイス。
- 8.チャンネル手段が過剰な検体の流れを、シンク手段の、作用サイトから離れ た部分に向ける、請求の範囲第1項記載のデバイス。
- 9.チャンネル手段が液体不浸透性フィルムである、請求の範囲第8項記載のデ バイス。
- 10.保持手段の試料添加側がフィルター手段によって覆われている、請求の範 囲第1項記載のデバイス。
- 11.フィルター手段がグラスフリースである、請求の範囲第10項記載のデバ イス。
- 12.保持手段側の第1のカバーと、作用サイト側の第2のカバーの間に挟み込 まれ、第1のカバーは保持手段の試料受容側の実質的に向かい側に開口部を有し 、第2のカバーは作用サイトの実質的に向かい側に開口部を有して、前記開口部 が互いに実質的に向かい合っている、請求の範囲第1項記載のデバイス。
- 13.第1または第2のカバーの一方がハンドル部分を包含する、請求の範囲第 12項記載のデバイス。
- 14.液体試料中の分析対象物質の存在および濃度の測定方法であって、 (a)請求の範囲第2項記載のアッセイデバイスの保持手段に液体試料を添加し 、; (b)検出可能な変化の存在または程度を測定するために、試薬層を検出し;さ らに (c)検出可能な変化の存在または程度の関数として、分析対象物質の存在また は濃度を測定する ような連続した段階を含んでいる前記の方法。
- 15.検出可能な変化が色の反射率の変化であって、検出および測定段階が、検 出に応答した信号を生じる反射率光度計;信号の関数として分析対象物質の濃度 を測定するための手段;および得られた測定結果を表示するための手段を含む測 定デバイスによって行われる、請求の範囲第14項記載の方法。
- 16.作用サイトが、液体検体の成分を分離するための分離手段である、請求の 範囲第1項記載のデバイス。
- 17.分離手段がグラスフリースおよびセルロースフィルターからなる群より選 択される、請求の範囲第16項記載のデバイス。
- 18.分離手段が、分析対象物質の存在または濃度を示す試薬物質を包含する、 請求の範囲第16項記載のデバイス。
- 19.作用サイトがバイオセンサー手段である、請求の範囲第1項記載のデバイ ス。
- 20.試薬層が、検出可能な変化がその層の電気的性質に存するような物質を含 んでいる、請求の範囲第2項記載のデバイス。
