Claims (23)
- 1.図1に示すアミノ酸配列からなる熱帯熱マラリア原虫(P.falcipa rum)の16kDaタンパク質およびその免疫原性誘導体(突然変異体を含む )。
- 2.配偶子とスポロゾイトの両方の膜から得られる点に特徴がある、熱帯熱マラ リア原虫の16kDaタンパク質およびその免疫学的誘導体。
- 3.哺乳動物においてスポロゾイトと赤血球外世代の寄生虫の両方に対して免疫 応答を誘起させ得る点に特徴がある、請求項1または2記載の熱帯熱マラリア原 虫の16kDaタンパク質およびその免疫学的誘導体。
- 4.請求項1−3のいずれか1つに記載した16kDaタンパク質またはその免 疫学的誘導体を含む融合タンパク質。
- 5.巨大分子に結合された16kDaタンパク質またはその免疫学的誘導体。
- 6.請求項1−5のいずれかに記載した実質的に純粋なタンパク質。
- 7.請求項1−5のいずれか1つに記載した16kDaタンパク質またはその免 疫学的誘導体もしくは融合タンパク質をコードする、実質的に図1に示した通り のDNA配列またはその変異型。
- 8.請求項7に記載したDNA配列を含む発現ベクター。
- 9.請求項8に記載した発現ベクターで形質転換された宿主。
- 10.請求項9に記載した細菌またはウイルス宿主。
- 11.医薬として使用するための、請求項1−5のいずれか1つに記載したタン パク質。
- 12.請求項1−5のいずれか1つに記載したタンパク質を適当な担体と共に含 有してなるワクチン組成物。
- 13.他のブラスモディウム抗原をさらに含む、請求項10記載のワクチン組成 物。
- 14.請求項1−5のいずれか1つに記載したタンパク質を含む、熱帯熱マラリ ア原虫感染症に対する伝播阻止ワクチン。
- 15.請求項1−5のいずれか1つに記載したタンパク質を含む、抗−赤血球外 およびスポロゾイトワクチン。
- 16.請求項10に記載した宿主を含むワクチン。
- 17.アジュバントをさらに含む、請求項11−14のいずれか1つに記載した ワクチン。
- 18.熱帯熱マラリア原虫感染症の予防用ワクチンを調製するための、請求項1 −5のいずれか1つに記載したタンパク質の使用。
- 19.伝播阻止ワクチンとして使用されるワクチンを調製するための、請求項1 −5のいずれか1つに記載したタンパク質の使用。
- 20.免疫学的に有効な量の請求項1−5のいずれか1つに記載したタンパク質 を投与することからなる、熱帯熱マラリア原虫感染症にかかりやすい患者の予防 処置方法。
- 21.請求項1−5のいずれかに記載したタンパク質の生産方法であって、a) 宿主を請求項6に記載のDNA配列で形質転換し、b)該宿主を適当な培地で培 養し、該培地から該タンパク質を単離することからなる方法。
- 22.実質的にここに記載した通りのタンパク質。
- 23.実質的にここに記載した通りのワクチン。
