と、 交差点に向かって進行する車両の速度を検知し、予め設
定した速度を越えた車両を検出する信号無視候補車両検
出手段と、 該信号無視候補車両が交差点内に進入したときに、該車
両又はその一部分を撮影する車両撮影用カメラと、 前記赤現示信号と、信号無視候補車両検出手段からの検
出信号を受けて、車両撮影用カメラの映像から車両を検
出すると、車両撮影用カメラの映像から複数コマのフリ
ーズ(静止)画面を一時記憶し、該静止画面中に、撮影
時刻、赤信号期間開始からの経過時間、検出した車両の
速度等の検知情報を合成する画像処理装置と、 前記画像処理装置にて合成した画像と交差点全景用カメ
ラからの画像信号を、画像切換装置により切り換えて録
画する長期画像記録媒体とから構成したことを特徴とす
る信号無視車両検出装置。
