CONSTITUTION:Design data including the integrated circuit components are selected from a data base holding means 1 and displayed in a non-wiring formation area 3c on the screen display surface 3 of a display means 2. Then the integrated circuit components are selected among the design data including the integrated circuit components selectively displayed in the non-wiring formation area 3c with a mouse as a batch design data moving means 5, the mouse is moved to the desired position of a wiring formation area 3b and then the integrated circuit components are moved to and arranged in the wiring formation area 3b. Then, the capacitors for power source stabilization corresponding to the integrated circuit components are automatically selected from a capacitor group selectively displayed in the non-wiring formation area 3c incidentally to the movement and arrangement and moved and arranged by the clicking of the mouse.

An image display design method called "data aided design or computer-aided design support" is widely used. That is, the CAD design support system stores the data of individual required components, such as integrated circuit components and capacitors, from the database in which the integrated circuit component data and the design data including capacitors for stabilizing the power supply voltage are input in advance. , And move and arrange them one by one on the screen display surface to design the layout of the printed wiring board (mounted circuit device). More specifically, for example, in the case of a printed wiring board, a wiring formation area (product area) is first set on the screen display surface of the image display means, and then a peripheral portion (non-wiring formation area) of this wiring formation area is set. ), The required part information is selected and temporarily arranged by the design data selecting means from the database previously input to the database holding means, and these pieces of part information (type of parts / arrangement position) are connected information ( The screen display design is performed by means of sequentially moving and arranging predetermined component information in the wiring formation area for each individual, based on (interconnection between components to be connected / arrangement position). In this screen display design, generally, for example, integrated circuit components are preferentially moved / arranged, and thereafter, in order to keep the power supply voltage supplied to the integrated circuit components stable, the integrated circuit components are matched with the integrated circuit components. Capacitor near integrated circuit parts (periphery)
We have adopted a system for moving and arranging.

However, the conventional screen display designing apparatus or system described above has the following inconvenient problems. That is, when the integrated circuit component (IC component or the like) selected from the database is moved / placed preferentially in the wiring forming area on the screen display surface, and then the capacitor for stabilizing the power supply voltage also selected from the database is moved / placed, Move preferentially in consideration of planned wiring traces to the integrated circuit parts and other planned wiring traces.
Since the placed integrated circuit parts interfere with the planned wiring trajectory of the capacitors to be moved / placed later (impeding), it is often necessary to move / place the integrated circuit parts again, and sometimes the capacitors are omitted. In some cases, there is no choice but to design. Such problems result in changes in the design / placement that the designer originally intended, and in addition, the difficulty of wiring / designing circuit components that have been moved / placed leads to design work time Not only increases the design modification work time, etc., but also omits the capacitor, which poses a problem in terms of electrical reliability.

FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing an outline of the configuration of a screen display designing apparatus according to the present invention, and FIGS. 2 to 8 schematically show examples of usage of the screen display designing apparatus according to the present invention. First, in FIG. 1, 1 is a database holding means for holding design data including integrated circuit parts, and 2 is a screen display for selecting and displaying design data corresponding to a predetermined area from the design data held by the database holding means 1. Surface 3
Screen display means (display means), 4 is a database input section for inputting required design data to the database holding means 1, and 5 is each integrated from the design data selected from the design data of the integrated circuit component system. This is a collective design data moving means for collectively moving and arranging circuit component system data in a product area (wiring board area) on the screen display surface. Here, the screen display surface 3 of the screen (display) display means 2 is divided into a so-called wiring forming area (wiring board area) 3b and a non-wiring forming area (non-wiring board area) 3c by an outline 3a. , Temporarily select design data including the required integrated circuit parts in the non-wiring formation area 3c.
The required circuit is designed by sequentially moving and arranging the displayed design data selected and displayed in the non-wiring formation region 3c in the wiring formation region 3b one after another.

First, prior to the description of the specific example, the outline of the processing will be described with reference to FIG. 2. The processing request from the input section is analyzed by the processing analysis section, and the analyzed processing is executed by the processing execution section. To be done. In this processing execution section, D / B access section → D / B →
The data of the integrated circuit parts to be moved / placed and the data of the capacitors attached to the integrated circuit parts are taken out through the route of the D / B access part. Here, the data necessary for selecting a capacitor in the integrated circuit component data are derived at the same time from the capacitor (component) selection rule, and the derived placement position of the capacitor is also derived. Operation is the processing execution section →
D / B access part → D / B → D / B access part → process execution part is repeated (required number of capacitors). In this way, by providing the information of each capacitor to which the placement data is added as the attribute information of the integrated circuit component, the capacitor selected as the one associated with the integrated circuit component is also associated with the placement position of the integrated circuit component. Are placed in a predetermined position.

As described above, the image display designing apparatus according to the present invention is a component layout design in a layout design.
When arranging a required integrated circuit component, the required number of corresponding (matching) capacitors for keeping the power supply voltage supplied to this integrated circuit component is automatically selected, and the integrated circuit is arranged at the time of arranging the integrated circuit component. It is configured so that it can be placed at an appropriate position near the parts at the same time. In other words, it forms a system that supports top-down structural component layout design, and also allows integrated circuit components and capacitors that form a pair with them to be collectively (integrally) moved and placed. Therefore, the layout change and the design modification can be reduced, and the work time of the design layout can be shortened. If I mention further,
The risk of problems such as moving and arranging components that have been placed once is largely eliminated, and it is easy to secure the placement of the components that was originally intended, so omission of capacitor placement is avoided and the electrical reliability of the circuit is improved. You can raise.

1. A database holding means for inputting and holding design information including each component data, and design data for selecting design data including a required integrated circuit component and a capacitor matching the integrated circuit component from the database holding means. A selection means, a screen display means for displaying the design data selected by the design data selection means in the non-wiring formation area of the screen display surface, and a pair of design data displayed in the non-wiring formation area of the screen display surface. A screen display design apparatus comprising: a batch data moving means for collectively moving and arranging integrated circuit component system data in a wiring forming area of a screen display surface and displaying the data.
