Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、エンジンの排気ガス浄化装置に関する。
従来この種の技術として、自動車のマフラーの後に電熱
器を取り付けて排気ガスを燃焼させて消煙する装置が知
られている（実開昭５６−１３６１１６号公報）。
この従来技術の具体例は、単に排気管の中に電熱器を設
けこの電熱器の両端に電気コードを接続しただけのもの
であって、これ自体では何ら実現性がないものであり、
エンジン始動時に充分に消煙できるという保証もない。
この考案は、上記従来技術のの欠点を克服するために考
え出されたものであって、以下詳細に説明する。
本考案を具体的に説明すると、マフラーの後に位置する
排気管の排気口に排気ガスを直接火炎で加熱する燃料ガ
ス噴出部を設けることを基本とする。
この考案を第１図で説明すると、排気管１の排気口５近
傍に、燃焼ガス供給源８に連なる燃料ガス供給用パイプ
２が取り付けられた環状パイプガスバーナー３を排気管
１と同軸状にバーナー受４で固定する。環状パイプバス
バーナー３には排気口５から排気される排気ガスの束に
向けて火炎６が集中するように、燃料ガス噴出口７を環
状に配列する。
さらに、上記火炎６が風などの影響を受けないようにす
るために金属性フード９を取り付けてもよい。
本考案は、上記のように構成したから、エンジン始動時
の排気ガスの不完全燃焼を火炎により十分に燃焼させる
ことができ、空気中に排出される排気ガスが浄化される
ので、本考案はエンジン始動時に特に有効である。
