Abstract

(57)【要約】 【構成】 ケーブルストリッパは、光ファイバーケーブ
ルの被覆を長手方向に取り除く刃と、光ファイバーケー
ブルの被覆に切り込む刃の角度を調整する上板と、上板
の下面に着脱自在に設けられる下板とからなり、上板と
下板の間に光ファイバーケーブルを保持する光ファイバ
ーケーブル案内路が形成されたことを特徴とする。 【効果】 被覆を取り除く際に、芯の光ファイバーに傷
を入れる事がなく光ファイバーの光量損失を起こさない
安全なケーブルストリッパを得る事ができる。

【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、光ファイバーケーブ
ルのストリッパに関し、安全に光ファイバーケーブルの
被覆を取り除くことができるケーブルストリッパに関す
る。

【従来の技術】従来光ファイバーケーブルの被覆を取り
除くには、ナイフで光ファイバーケーブルの被覆に傷を
付け被覆を取り除いていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ナイフで光ファイバー
ケーブルの被覆を取り除く際に、芯の光ファイバーにま
で傷が入る恐れがあり光ファイバーの光量損失または断
線につながっていた。
【０００４】この発明は、上述の背景に基づいてなされ
たものであり、その目的とするところは被覆を取り除く
際に、芯の光ファイバーに傷を入れる事がなく光ファイ
バーの光量損失を起こさないケーブルストリッパを提供
する事である。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記の課題はこの発明に
よって解決する。すなわちこの発明のケーブルストリッ
パは、光ファイバーケーブルの被覆を長手方向に取り除
く刃と、光ファイバーケーブルの被覆に切り込む刃の角
度を調整する上板と、上板の下面に着脱自在に設けられ
る下板とからなり、上板と下板の間に光ファイバーケー
ブルを保持する光ファイバーケーブル案内路が形成され
たことを特徴とするものである。

【作用】上記構成を有するこの発明は下記のように作用
する。光ファイバーケーブルを案内路に通し、上板に取
り付けられている刃に光ファイバーケーブルの被覆が当
たり、その光ファイバーケーブルを長手方向に引っ張る
事により被覆を取り除く事ができる。

【実施例】以下、本考案の一実施例を、図面を参照して
説明する。この発明の一実施例であるケーブルストリッ
パの斜視図を図１に、また、断面図を図２に示す。この
実施例のケーブルストリッパは、光ファイバーケーブル
５の被覆を長手方向に取り除く刃１と、光ファイバーケ
ーブルの被覆に切り込む刃の角度を調整する上板２と、
上板の下面に着脱自在に設けられる下板３とからなり、
上板と下板の間に光ファイバーケーブルを保持する光フ
ァイバーケーブル案内路４が形成されている。この実施
例のケーブルストリッパの使用方法は、上板と下板とを
合わせる事により案内路を形成し、光ファイバーケーブ
ル５を案内路４に通し、上板２に取り付けられている刃
１に光ファイバーケーブルの被覆を当て、その光ファイ
バーケーブルを長手方向に引っ張る事により被覆を取り
除く事ができる。

【発明の効果】この発明のケーブルストリッパにより、
被覆を取り除く際に、芯の光ファイバーに傷を入れる事
がなく光ファイバーの光量損失を起こさない安全なケー
ブルストリッパを得る事ができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 光ファイバーケーブルの被覆を長手方向
    に取り除く刃と、光ファイバーケーブルの被覆に切り込
    む刃の角度を調整する上板と、上板の下面に着脱自在に
    設けられる下板とからなり、上板と下板の間に光ファイ
    バーケーブルを保持する光ファイバーケーブル案内路が
    形成されたことを特徴とするケーブルストリッパ。
