の回路基板、すなわちベースフレーム上に形成し
た電気回路を形成する導電箔をオーバーレイフイ
ルムで被覆保護した所謂フレキシブルプリント回
路基板が各種電子機器、車輌用灯具等に使用され
るに至つている。第3図〜第5図はこのようなフ
レキシブルプリント回路基板にコネクタを直接半
田接続した従来のコネクタ取付構造を示すもの
で、1は帯状に形成された略U字状に屈曲された
フレキシブルプリント回路基板、2はフレキシブ
ルプリント回路基板1のコネクタ接続部3に実装
されたコネクタである。フレキシブルプリント回
路基板1は、ポリエステル、ポリイミド等によつ
て形成されたベースフイルム4およびオーバーレ
イフイルム5と、これら両フイルム4,5間に形
成された複数の導電箔6とで構成され、これら導
電箔6の一端は前記コネクタ接続部3に集中配列
されてランド部6aを構成している。各ランド部
6aは一端が前記ベースフイルム4の裏面に開口
し、他端が前記オーバーレイフイルム5の表面に
開口するピン挿通孔7を有している。前記オーバ
ーレイフイルム5の表面にはリング状の金箔8が
前記ピン挿通孔7に対応して設けられている。前
記コネクタ接続部3上に実装されるコネクタ2
は、その下面に垂設された複数個のピン9が各ラ
ンド部6aのピン挿通孔7に挿通され、かつ半田
10により当該ランド部6aに接続固定されてお
り、例えばプリンタの印字ヘツドに接続される。
