【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】この発明は使い捨て可能な製品に
関し、さらに詳細には、新生児の比較的速い成長に適合
するように長さとアタッチメントが調整可能な使い捨て
可能な吸収性製品に関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術および解決しようとする課題】近年、使い
捨て可能な吸収性製品は、幼児、子供および大人を世話
するために普及しており、再使用可能な布製の吸収性製
品と除々に入れ代わっている。代表的な使い捨て可能な
吸収性製品はほぼ三層構造をしており、トップシート、
バックシートおよびこのトップシートとバックシートと
の間の吸収体から構成される。さらに、このような吸収
性製品は着用者に装着するために幾つかのタイプの締め
具を備えていることが一般的である。
【０００３】最近のおしめや他の吸収性製品は公衆に徐
々に受け入れられているが、これらの製品においても、
或る部分ではなお改良の必要がある。例えば、生まれた
てから一般に約４ヵ月までの新生児の母親たちは、新生
児が生まれてから１ヵ月の間ある臍の緒に対する、最近
の使い捨て可能なおしめによる刺激が気になっている。
臍の緒に対するどの様な刺激であっても、新生児にとっ
ては気持ちが悪く母親の心配の種である。さらに母親た
ちが心配なことは、新生児の肌が柔軟であるため、ちょ
っとした圧力や擦れる動きに敏感であり、これが刺激と
なったり、赤くなったりする原因となる。近年のおしめ
においては、尿の漏れを防止するために新生児の肌にお
しめを強く押しつける脚部弾性帯が上記の圧力や刺激の
原因である。おしめの後部耳部がおしめの前部に強く貼
り止められるため、腰の部分においても同じことが起き
うる。このように、近年のおしめでは、新生児に対して
の最適の吸収性製品を提供できない。
【０００４】新生児の治療済の臍の緒の領域および肌の
柔軟性の対する心配に加えて、生まれてから約４ヵ月目
にかけて比較的速く成長する新生児の肌は敏感である。
この間、新生児は身長と共に体重も増加し、約６ポンド
から約１５ポンドまで増加する。このため、母親が最初
に使うおしめは生まれたての赤ちゃんのサイズであり、
次のサイズのおしめではこのように速く成長する新生児
に間に合わないという問題が生ずる。従って、このよう
な急激な成長に適合するようにサイズが調整可能な、生
まれてから約４ヵ月の間の新生児に対し専用にデザイン
されたおしめがあることが望ましい。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明の一つの形態
は、成長に合わせて調整可能な吸収性製品であって、前
部、後部、および中間の股部とを具備するバックシート
と、少なくとも中間の股部に配置された主吸収体を有す
るものである。折り返し可能なパネルが、前部の、その
前端と主吸収体との間に設置される。この折り返し可能
なパネルは、主吸収体と実質的に同一面状となる第１の
ポジションと、折り返し可能なパネルが内部に折り返さ
れて主吸収体に重なる第２のポジションとの間を動くこ
とが可能であり、この製品を調整可能としている。

に係る望ましい実施例は、おしめ２であり、このおしめ
２は、前端６を備える前部４と、後端１０を備える後部
８と、中間の股部１２から構成される。後部８はさら
に、後部８に接続された、あるいは後部８と一体となっ
た１組の耳部１４および１６を備えている。一般には、
耳部１４および１６は、後部８と一体となっている。

のすべてに自然の布の感触を与えるため必然的に好まれ
る。これは、近年のおしめがポリメリックフィルム素材
をバックシート１８として採用しているため、プラスチ
ック的触感あるいは感じを持つのと対照的である。布状
と、防水性の両方の特性を備えるバックシート１８を形
成する１つの方法は、バックシート１８を２つの布地で
形成することであり、１つは防水性のインナープライ２
４であり、これは気体に対して通気性があっても無くて
もよく、他の１つは布的なアウタープライ２６である。
インナープライ２４は、アウタープライ２６であるスパ
ンボンド製の素材の上に圧着した防水性の薄いフィルム
で形成することができる。
【０００９】トップシート２０は、尿等の液体に対して
透水性で、本発明の１つの特徴である非常にソフトな感
触あるいは手触りを備え、これは敏感で柔軟な新生児の
肌に対して大変望ましい。このような非常にソフトな感
触あるいは手触りを備えるトップシート２０を提供する
１つの方法は、トップシート２０を全て、あるいは少な
くとも或る程度のファイバーを複合ファイバーとして、
そのファイバーのマトリックスにより製造することであ
る。これらの複合ファイバーとして、サイドバイサイ
ド、あるいはシースコア構造のものを用いることができ
る。以下にトップシート２０についてさらに詳細な説明
を行なう。１つの望ましい実施例はトップシート２０を
複合ファイバーから形成されるライナー層２１と、複合
ファイバーと他のファイバーが混合されて形成されるサ
ージ層２３とからなる２層構造とすることである。ライ
ナー層２１およびサージ層２３は２つの層を接合する余
分な工程を一切用いることなく何方を上にして配置して
も良く、あるいはライナー層２１およびサージ層２３を
接合、あるいは接着して一体化した層２１、２３とし、
トップシート２０を形成する工程を経て配置しても良
い。サージ層２３は、ライナー層２１より狭く、クッシ
ョンバリアー５２同士あるいは閉じ込め用折り返し６４
（図５）同士の真ん中とすることが望ましい。サージ層
２３はライナー層２１と吸収体２２との間とすることが
望ましい。
【００１０】耳部１４、１６にはそれぞれフック面３２
が、その先端近傍のおしめ２の内面３４に取り付けられ
ている。フック面３２のそれぞれは、後述するループ材
と適合する複数のフック材（図示していない）により構
成される。おしめ２は、さらに、外面３６があり、この
外面３６には、３つのループ面３８、４０、４２が配置
される。ループ面３８は、耳部１４あるいは耳部１６の
いずれか一方、あるいは両方に取り付けられ、図２では
耳部１６の外面３６に取り付けられている状態を示して
ある。ループ面４０、４２は、前部４の外面３６に取り
付けられる。図２および３に示すように、ループ面４０
は、前端６の近傍に取り付けられ、ループ面４２は、ル
ープ面４０の内側に若干間隔を開けて取り付けられる。
必要であれば、ループ面４０、４２は１つのループ面で
構成することもできる。ループ面３８、４０、４２は、
それぞれフック面３２のフック材と適合するループ材
（図示していない）によってそれぞれ構成される。
【００１１】１組の弾性的な脚部裾口４４がおしめ２の
長手方向の側部のそれぞれに設置されており、バックシ
ート１８とトップシート２０の間に取り付けられること
が望ましい。脚部裾口４４は、防水性あるいは透水性で
良く、複数の弾性糸４６で弾性化されていることが望ま
しい。脚部裾口４４は、外側のひだが防水性で、内側の
ひだが透水性の２つのひだで構成されていることが望ま
しい。このようなデザインにおいて、外側のひだはバッ
クシート１８と同じ素材で形成可能であり、内側のひだ
はライナー層２１と同じ素材で形成可能である。脚部裾
口４４が透水性であるほうが良い場合は、両方のパイル
を同じあるいは異なる透水性の素材で形成する。
【００１２】主吸収体２２に加えて、おしめ２は、主吸
収体２２と前端６との間に折り返し可能な吸収パネル４
８を備えている。主吸収体２２と同様に、折り返し可能
な吸収パネル４８はバックシート１８とトップシート２
０との間に位置している。折り返し可能な吸収パネル４
８は、主吸収体２２と同じ吸収素材で形成可能であり、
図３に示すように、主吸収体２２とは隙間を開けてあ
る。必要であれば、主吸収体２２と折り返し可能な吸収
パネル４８とを一体として形成し、図６および７に示す
内側に折り返し可能なようにように、浮きだし、折り
目、隙間等を用いて折り返し可能な吸収パネル４８を形
成しても良い。ループ面４０が、吸収パネル４８を覆う
バックシート１８およびトップシート２０と同様に、吸
収パネル４８と共に内側に折り返し可能であることはも
ちろんである。必要であれば、折り返し可能なパネル４
８は、液体を堰止めあるいは阻害する機能を持っている
ことが望ましいが、非吸収性物質で形成することもでき
る。
【００１３】前部４の前端６近傍にあたるおしめ２の前
腰部を弾性化するために、複数の弾性糸５０が吸収パネ
ル４８とバックシート１８との間に装着されている。弾
性糸５０は、まず伸ばされて、その後バックシート１８
またパネル４８のいずれか、また両方に接着される。こ
れと代わって、糸５０として熱弾性素材を用いても良
く、これらを弛緩した状態で挟み込み、次に熱して弾性
化することにより、バックシート１８にギャザーが取ら
れる。必要であれば、弾性糸５０は、弾性部材となる素
材による別の層に装着された後、バックシート１８と吸
収パネル４８との間に装着されても良い。
【００１４】本発明の特徴の１つは、新生児の肌の敏感
さおよび柔軟さに対応することであり、肌が赤くなる印
や刺激を最小限に抑えるため、漏れ防止を補助するクッ
ションバリアーが設置される。１つの曲線状の股部クッ
ションバリアー５２が、主吸収体２２の向かい合った側
方で少なくとも中間の股部１２の領域に用意される。そ
れぞれの股部クッションバリアーは主吸収体２２から若
干離れており、このため、新生児の体の形に合わせて容
易に折れ、または曲がることができる。それぞれのクッ
ションバリアー５２は、上面５４があり、この上面５４
はカップのような形を形成し、さらに重要なことには新
生児の肌に対して穏やかにシールするために、主吸収体
２２を越えて上方に伸びている。それぞれのクッション
バリアー５２は、ほぼ長細く、その横切る断面はシリン
ダー状、矩形、楕円形、等の形であって良い。クッショ
ンバリアー５２は主吸収体２２と同じ素材で形成でき、
非吸収性であっても身体からの排泄物に対する堰止め効
果があり、肌に対して穏やかなシールを提供できる弾性
のある素材で形成することも可能である。必要であれ
ば、弾性部材５６をそれぞれのクッションバリアー５２
とバックシート１８との間に設置することもできる。弾
性部材５６によって、新生児の肌に対して優しく、ソフ
トな方法でクッションバリアー５２を押し当てられる。
弾性部材５６は、弾性糸５０を備えた折り返し可能な吸
収パネル４８と同じ素材を用いて同じ構成で形成するこ
とができる。弾性部材５６は、それぞれのクッションバ
リアー５２と同じ長さ、幅の長細い部材であることが望
ましい。主吸収体２２の上面を越えて上方に伸びた上面
５４の高さは、使用される吸収素材、おしめ２のサイ
ズ、形等によって変化する。クッションバリアー２２
は、バックシート１８とライナー層２１との間に位置す
ることが望ましく、ライナー層２１の上に設置しても良
い。
【００１５】上記において、クッションバリアー５２
は、主吸収体２２の長手方向の側部と若干離れて形成さ
れるが、吸収体２２から最大２ｃｍ離れて配置されても
良く、主吸収体２２のそれぞれの長手方向の側部の近傍
で主吸収体２２の上に配置されても良い。後部８は、主
吸収体２２と後端１０との間に位置した後腰部クッショ
ンバリアー５８を備えている。後腰部クッションバリア
ー５８は、ライナー層２１とバックシート１８との間に
挟まれていることが望ましく、ライナー層２１の上に設
置されても良い。後腰部クッションバリアー５８は、股
部クッションバリアー５２と同様の素材で形成でき、後
腰部バンド６０を備えている。後腰部バンド６０は、前
腰部バンド５１と同じ素材で同様に構成できる。従っ
て、後腰部バンド６０は、前腰部バンド５１の弾性糸５
０と同じあるいは同様の弾性糸６２を備えている。後腰
部クッションバリアー５８は、新生児の肌に優しいクッ
ションを提供する役目と、おしめ２の後方における排出
物のバリアーの役目を果たす。後腰部クッションバリア
ー５８は、後部８における主吸収体２２と略同じ幅であ
り、必要であれば吸収体２２より幅を広くしたり狭くし
たりすることもとうぜん可能である。
【００１６】図５に示すように、おしめ２としては、股
部クッションバリアー５２を１対の閉じ込め用折り返し
６４に置き換えた変形例もあり、後腰部クッションバリ
アーを排泄物閉じ込め用折り返し６６に置き換えること
も可能である。閉じ込め用折り返し６４は、ライナー層
１２と同様の素材で形成可能であり、他の適当な素材で
形成することもできる。閉じ込め用折り返し６４は、ほ
ぼ１または２の方法で形成される。１つの方法は、閉じ
込め用折り返し６４を独立の部材として形成し、ライナ
ー層２１に適当な方法で取り付けるものである。この方
法では、それぞれの閉じ込め用折り返し６４の基端６８
の各々が適当な方法でライナー層２１に取り付けられ
る。他の方法は、それぞれの閉じ込め用折り返し６４を
ライナー層２１から形成するものであり、適当な方法で
ライナー層２１自体にひだが取られ、基端６８が貼り付
けられる。いずれの方法であっても、末端７０は伸張性
素材からなる少なくとも１筋の糸７２が設置され、その
糸７２が末端７０に伸びた状態で取付けられる。閉じ込
め用折り返し６４の前端７４および後端７６はライナー
層２１に止められている。おしめ２が開放されたり、あ
るいは装着されると、末端７０の弾性糸７２によって、
ライナー層２１から上方に立ち上がる。このように、閉
じ込め用折り返し６４は、クッションバリアー５２と同
様に内部に向かって、あるいは伸張性の脚部裾口４４の
内側に設置されている。折り返し６４の構造のさらに詳
細な説明はエンロイに付与された米国特許第４，７０
４，１１６にあり、その内容はここで参照され編入され
る。
【００１７】排泄物閉じ込め用折り返し６６は、閉じ込
め用折り返し６４と同一あるいは同様に形成可能であ
り、後部８の後端１０近傍に設置されている点が異な
る。排泄物閉じ込め用折り返し６６は、閉じ込め用折り
返し６４と同じの方法で形成可能であり、同じ素材を用
いることができる。閉じ込め用折り返し６４および排泄
物閉じ込め用折り返し６６は、共に以下に述べるような
防水性あるいは透水性の素材で形成することができる。
【００１８】図６は、おしめ２が、その最も短い長さで
ある約１２インチから約１３．７５インチとなるであろ
う状態を示してある。おしめ２は、従来のおしめとほぼ
同様の方法で新生児に装着されるが、以下の点が異なっ
ている。折り返し可能な吸収パネル４８は内側に折り込
まれ、折り返し可能な吸収パネル４８の外面と主吸収体
２２が互いに対応する関係となる。折り返し可能な吸収
パネル４８と共にループ面４０と前腰部バンド５１も折
り返される。ループ面４０は、ソフトな素材で形成され
ており、赤ちゃんの肌を刺激しない。この折り返すステ
ップのあと、新生児をおしめ２の上に乗せることがで
き、前部４が足の間から赤ちゃんの前方に向かって引っ
張られる。次に、耳部１４、１６が新生児の腰の回りを
覆って耳部１６のフック面３２がループ面４２に取り外
し可能に結合され、耳部１４のフック面３２が耳部１６
のループ面３８に結合される。このように、耳部１６お
よび１４が、ループ面４２および３８のそれぞれに締め
つけられることにより、新生児におしめ２を心地好く、
しかしきちんとフィットさせるように調整することが可
能となる。この折り返した形は、おしめ２の最も短い状
態であり、耳部１４、１６が互いにオーバーラップして
新生児としての間で長さが最も短い時期のウェストライ
ンにも適合できる。
【００１９】図７は、新生児が生まれてから最初の数週
間あるいは数カ月を経て急激に成長した際に、おしめ２
がこの成長の度合いにマッチするように調整可能である
ことを示している。折り返し可能な吸収パネル４８は内
側に折り込まれた儘であるが、耳部１４、１６は、新生
児の増加したウェストラインに必要なように、オーバー
ラップせずにループ面４２に配置される。このおしめ２
の中間サイズの調整状態は、それぞれの耳部１４、１６
のフック面３８がループ面４２に取り付けられている状
態である。
【００２０】新生児が急激に成長を続けると、おしめ２
は、新生児の身長、幅の両方の増加への対応を継続する
必要がある。図８に示すように、身長の成長へ適合する
ために、折り返し可能な吸収パネル４８は、図３に示す
ような主吸収体２２と同一平面状となるように復帰さ
れ、おしめ２は最大の長さである約１４インチから約１
５インチとなり、さらに、耳部１４、１６は、オーバー
ラップしない状態で、折り返し可能な吸収パネル４８の
ループ面４０に取付けられる。
【００２１】図１０には、クッションバリアー５２、５
８の変形例を５３として示してある。この変形例におい
ては、複数のカップ状の部材５７からなる少なくとも１
つ、望ましくは図示するように２つの列５５を含み、こ
の列５５が身体からの排泄物を受け止め保持する。部材
５７は、おしめ２の長手方向の中心線の方向である内側
に面し、２つの列５５がある場合は、１つの列５５のカ
ップ状の部材５７が他の列５５の部材５７と千鳥状に配
置される。部材５７は、防水性であっても透水性であっ
ても良く、また、通気性があっても無くても良い。一般
に、部材５７は、必要な形状あるいは凹凸となるように
容易に型とり、あるいは成形が可能な素材によって形成
される。必要であれば、これらのカップ状の部材５７か
らなる列５５は、クッションバリアー５２と共に配置し
ても良く、それぞれのクッションバリアー５２と脚部裾
口４４との間に設置しても良い。
【００２２】バックシート１８は、防水性のインナープ
ライ２４と透水性のアウタープライ２６の２層で形成さ
れている。インナープライ２４は、厚みが約０．５から
約１．０ミルのポリプロピレンフィルムであることが望
ましく、アウタープライ２６は、基本重量がヤード当た
り約０．３から１．０オンスであるスパンボンドされた
ポリプロピレンであることが望ましい。このポリプロピ
レンファイバーはバイローバル（ｂｉｌｏｂａｌ）状の
形状であり、約１．５から４．０ｄｐｆデニールであ
る。インナーおよびアウタープライ２４、２６は、スプ
レー状の接着剤、筋状の接着剤、ドットボンド、サーマ
ルボンド、ソニックボンドおよびフィルム層をスパンボ
ンド層に圧着する等の適当な方法で接続することができ
る。バックシート１８は防水性の、あるいは防水加工さ
れた他の素材を用いても形成しても良い。幾つかの例と
しては、ポリエチレンあるいはポリオレフィンのコーポ
リマで作られたメルトブローあるいはフィルム状の素材
がある。バックシート１８は、防水であると同時に通気
性を持たせてもよい。バックシート１８は、一般におし
め２と同じ形であり、図に示すように、耳部１４、１６
が横の外側に延びた略砂時計状の形である。他の形状が
有効な場合もあり、使用される素材の種類、厚み等によ
る。
【００２３】トップシート２０は、透水性の素材で形成
されており、２層の合成体であることが望ましい。望ま
しい実施例においては、トップシート２０は、基本重量
が１．５ｏｓｙ（オンスパー平方ヤード）の一体にボン
ドされ、けばだった織物で形成されている。ライナー層
２１は、基本重量が平方ヤード当たり０．５ｏｓｙ程度
で約２．２５デニールのポリエチレン／ポリエステル複
合ファイバーで形成されている。この型の複合ファイバ
ーはバスフ（ＢＡＳＦ）社、ファイバー部、エンカ、Ｎ
Ｃ２８７２８から購入することができる。サージ層２３
は、基本重量が１．０ｏｓｙ程度で、約１５ｄｐｆデニ
ールを有するポリエステルファイバーが７５重量パーセ
ント、ポリエチレン／ポリプロピレン複合ファイバーが
２５重量パーセントで構成されたファイバーマトリック
スであることが望ましい。これらのファイバーは、チッ
ソ社、ＰＰファイバー部、６−３２、中之島３、北区、
大阪５３０日本から購入することができる。これらの２
層は、例えば、透過空気法（ｔｈｒｏｕｇｈ−ａｉｒ）
または赤外線接合法により接合することができる。トッ
プシート１２は略０．０２ｇｃｃ（グラムパー平方セン
チメートル）の密度、約０．１０インチの体積厚さを備
えていることが望ましい。このような層およびファイバ
ーの組合せは、新生児の肌に対峙するための非常にソフ
トで穏やかな表面を構成でき、本発明の１つの特徴でも
ある。望ましい実施例におけるトップシート２０とは別
に、トップシート２０は、基本重量が約１５から約１０
２ｇｓｍ（グラムパー平方メートル）の範囲で、密度が
約０．０１から約０．０８ｇｃｃ、ファイバーのデニー
ルが約１から約１５、ファイバーの長さが約０．５から
約２．０インチでも良く、ファイバーがインチ当たり約
１４から約２２のひだがある範囲であればひだが形成さ
れていても良い。
【００２４】トップシート２０は、さらに、合成ポリマ
ーフィラメントからなるスパンボンド製の織物、スパン
レース製の織物等などの他の透水性の素材で形成するこ
とも可能である。トップシート２０はバックシート１８
と同じ形状で形成でき、長さまたは幅が短くても良い。
しかしながら、トップシート２０およびバックシート１
８は主吸収体２０を越えて外側に広がった外周が有り、
この外周部分が筋状の接着剤、ソニックボンド、あるい
はこの組合せ等によって相互に接着できることが望まし
い。
【００２５】主吸収体２２は、パルプフラフと超吸収素
材との混合体であることが望ましく、全体約１３．４グ
ラムがフラフで有り、約７．２グラムが超吸収素材で有
ることが望ましい。適当な超吸収素材は、ホイチィスト
セラネセ社（Ｈｏｅｃｈｓｕｔ Ｃｅｌａｎｅｓｅ）ス
ーパーアブソーベント部、ポーツマス技術センター、３
３４０ 西ノーフォーク通り、ポーツマス、ＶＡ２３７
０３で購入することができる。シリカゲル、クロスリン
クされたポリマー等の有機合成物などの他の超吸収素材
を使用することも可能である。この超吸収素材は、粒
状、ファイバー、層、等の種々の形をとることができ
る。超吸収素材とフラフとは、均一に混ぜ合わされて
も、Ｚ状に濃度勾配があっても、フラフの中に超吸収素
材が１層あるいは多層に配置されても良い。吸収体２２
は、約４１平方インチの表面積を備え、密度約０．２ｇ
ｃｃ、基本重量約７７８ｇｓｍであることが望ましい。
吸収体２２は、基本重量が約２２ｇｓｍの標準的な薄織
物製の覆いを２層備えている。この薄織物製の覆いは、
吸収体２２の周辺で接着シールされ、あるいはヒートシ
ールされても良い。
【００２６】折り返し可能な吸収パネル４８も吸収体２
２と同様の素材で形成することができ、これと異なる適
当な素材で形成しても良い。例えば、折り返し可能なパ
ネル４８を吸収性でなく、非吸収性素材あるいは透水性
の層に覆われた吸収素材で形成することも可能である。
主吸収体２２および吸収性パネル４８は両方ともバック
シート１８に筋状の接着剤等の適当な方法で取付け、あ
るいは接合することができる。
【００２７】ループ面３８、４０、４２は、ギルフォー
ドミル（Ｇｕｉｆｏｒｄ Ｍｉｌｌ）社（６００１Ｗ．
マーケット通り、グリーンスボロー、北カリフォルニア
２７４０２−０００４）から購入できるギルフォードル
ープ１８９０３または１９９０２のループ材を用いるこ
とが望ましい。それぞれのループ面３８、４０、４２の
形状は、おしめ２の全体的な形状による。図示した実施
例では、ループ面３８は長方形で、ループ面４０、４２
も共に長方形で前部４の幅いっぱい広がっている。ルー
プ面３８、４０、４２は筋状の接着剤、ソニックボン
ド、あるいは他の適当な手段でバックシート１８に取り
付けることができる。
【００２８】フック面３２は、ベルクロ（Ｖｅｌｃｒ
ｏ）Ｕ．Ｓ．Ａ．社（マンチェスター、Ｎ．Ｈ．）から
購入できフックＨＴＨ７０８であることが望ましい。フ
ック面３２は、筋状の接着剤、ソニックボンド等によっ
て耳部１４、１６に取り付けることができる。弾性糸４
６、弾性糸５０、弾性糸６２、さらに弾性のより糸７２
は、リクラ（Ｌｙｃｒａ）であることが望ましい。
【００２９】クッションバリアー５２、５８は、主吸収
体２２と同様の素材で形成でき、またフラフファイバー
あるいは合成ファイバー単独で形成することもできる。
必要であれば、バリアー５２、５８を吸収性とせず、フ
ォーム素材等の適当な弾力性のある素材で形成すること
も可能である。図５には、クッションバリヤー５２、５
８が図示されているが、閉じ込め用折り返し６４、６６
と置き換え可能であり、本発明には、これらの要素の他
の組合せも考慮される。例えば、おしめ２は、股部クッ
ションバリアー５２と廃物閉じ込め用折り返し６６の組
合せ、あるいは後腰部クッションバリアー５８と閉じ込
め用折り返し６４の組合せであっても良い。
【００３０】望ましい実施例に基づき本発明の説明をし
ているが、さらにこれを変形できることは勿論である。
従って、この明細書は発明の一般的な原理に従った変形
例、等価なもの、使用あるいは適用可能なのを包含すべ
く作成されており、さらに、本説明に含まれないもので
あっても、自明あるいは本分野において慣習となってい
るものは添付の特許請求の範囲内あるいは特許請求の範
囲に属する本発明に含まれる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 前端を具備する前部、後端を具備する後
    部および中間の股部を備えたバックシートと、 前記中間の股部に少なくとも配置された主吸収体と、 前記前部の前記前端と前記主吸収体との間の前記前部
    に、折り返し可能な吸収パネルとを有し、この折り返し
    可能な吸収パネルは、該折り返し可能な吸収パネルと前
    記主吸収体が実質的に同一平面となる第１の位置と、該
    折り返し可能なパネルが前記主吸収体上に内側に向かっ
    て折り込まれた第２の位置との間を動作可能であり、こ
    れにより新生児の体の成長に適合するように該製品の長

    ションパリアーに動作可能に合わせた弾性部材を有する

  11. 【請求項１１】 請求項１において、前記前部の前記主
    吸収体と前記折り返し可能な吸収パネルの反対側の面に
    ループ面を有し、 １組の耳部のそれぞれが前記後部の向かい合った側部に
    有り、各耳部はフック面を備え、 前記フック面は前記ループ面に取り外し可能に結合でき
    ることを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  12. 【請求項１２】 請求項１１において、前記ループ面
    は、前記折り返し可能な吸収パネルと逆側の前記バック
    シートに、前記折り返し可能な吸収パネルと共に折り返
    しできる折り返し可能なループ面と、この折り返し可能
    なループ面の内側のバックシート上の折り返さないルー
    プ面とを備えていることを特徴とする吸収製製品。
  13. 【請求項１３】 請求項１２において、前記フック面は
    前記折り返し可能なループ面と折り返さないループ面と
    の両方に取り外し可能に結合できることを特徴とする吸
    収性製品。
  14. 【請求項１４】 請求項１２において、前記フック面
    は、前記折り返し可能なループ面と折り返さないループ
    面のいずれかと取り外し可能に結合できることを特徴と
    する吸収性製品。
  15. 【請求項１５】 請求項１１において、一の前記耳部は
    前記フック面の反対側にループ面を備え、前記一方の耳
    部のフック面が前記ループ面に取り外し可能に結合で
    き、 他方の前記耳部のフック面は前記一方の耳部のループ面
    に取り外し可能に結合できることを特徴とする吸収性製
    品。
  16. 【請求項１６】 請求項１５において、前記ループ面
    は、前記バックシートの前記折り返し可能な吸収パネル
    と逆側に設置され、この折り返し可能な吸収パネルと同
    時に折り返しできる折り返し可能なループ面と、この折
    り返し可能なループ面の内側に位置する折り返さないル
    ープ面とを備え、 前記一方の耳部のフック面は、前記折り返し可能な吸収
    パネルが、折り込まれた前記第２の位置であるときに、
    前記折り返さないループ面と取り外し可能に結合でき、 前記他方の耳部のフック面は前記一方の耳部のループ面
    に取り外し可能に結合できることを特徴とする吸収製製
    品。
  17. 【請求項１７】 請求項３または４において、前記クッ
    ションバリアーは、身体からの排泄物を確保するカップ
    状部材が少なくとも１列に並んだものであることを特徴
    とする吸収性製品。
  18. 【請求項１８】 請求項１において、複合ファイバーを
    具備するトップシートを備えていることを特徴とする吸
    収性製品。
  19. 【請求項１９】 請求項１８において、前記複合ファイ
    バーはシースコアファイバーであること特徴とする吸収
    性製品。
  20. 【請求項２０】 請求項１８において、前記複合ファイ
    バーはサイドバイサイドファイバーであることを特徴と
    する吸収性製品。
  21. 【請求項２１】 請求項１８において、前記トップシー
    トが基本重量が平方メートル当たり約１５から約１０２
    グラムで、密度が立方センチメートル当たり約０．０１
    から約０．０８グラムであることを特徴とする吸収性製
    品。
  22. 【請求項２２】 請求項１８において、前記複合ファイ
    バーは、ファイバー当たり約１から約１５ｄｐｆのデニ
    ールと、約０．５から約２インチの間の長さであること
    を特徴とする吸収性製品。
  23. 【請求項２３】 請求項１８において、前記複合ファイ
    バーは、インチ当たり約１４から約２２のひだを備えて
    いることを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  24. 【請求項２４】 請求項１において、前記股部のそれぞ
    れの側部に閉じ込め用の折り返しを備えていることを特
    徴とする吸収性製品
  25. 【請求項２５】 請求項１において、前記バックシート
    の前記後端近傍に位置する後腰部閉じ込め用折り返しを
    備えていることを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  26. 【請求項２６】 前端を具備する前部、後端を具備する
    後部および中間の股部を備えたバックシートと、 前記中間の股部に少なくとも配置された主吸収体とを有
    し、 前記前部の前記前端と前記主吸収体との間の前記前部に
    折り返し可能な吸収パネルを備え、この折り返し可能な
    吸収パネルは、該折り返し可能な吸収パネルと前記主吸
    収体が実質的に同一平面となる第１の位置と、該折り返
    し可能なパネルが前記主吸収体上に内側に向かって折り
    込まれた第２の位置との間を動作可能である成長に応じ
    て調整可能であり、 １組の耳部のそれぞれが前記後部の向かい合った側部に
    有り、 一方の前記耳部は、前記前部と取り外し可能に結合で
    き、 他方の前記耳部は、この耳部が前記一方の耳部とオーバ
    ーラップして取り外し可能に結合できる第１の位置と、
    前記他の耳部が前記一の耳部と距離をおいて前記前部に
    取り外し可能に結合できる第２の位置をとることを特徴
    とする吸収性製品。
  27. 【請求項２７】 請求項２６において、前記折り返し可
    能なパネルが前記第２の位置のときに、前記他方の耳部
    が前記第１の位置をとることが可能であることを特徴と
    する吸収性製品。
  28. 【請求項２８】 請求項２６において、前記折り返し可
    能なパネルが前記第１の位置のときに、前記他方の耳部
    が前記第２の位置をとることが可能であることを特徴と
    する吸収性製品。
  29. 【請求項２９】 請求項２６において、前記バックシー
    トの前記後端近傍に配置された後腰部クッションバリア
    ーを有することを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  30. 【請求項３０】 請求項２６において、前記股部の各側
    部に股部クッションバリアーを有することを特徴とする
    吸収性製品。
  31. 【請求項３１】 請求項２６において、前記股部のそれ
    ぞれの側部に閉じ込め用の折り返しを備えていることを
    特徴とする吸収性製品

    トの前記後端近傍に位置する後腰部閉じ込め用折り返し
    を備えていることを特徴とする吸収性製品。

    バーは、ファイバー当たり約１から約１５ｄｐｆのデニ
    ールと、約０．５から約２インチの間の長さであること
    を特徴とする吸収性製品。

    バーは、インチ当たり約１４から約２２のひだを備えて
    いることを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  39. 【請求項３９】 前端を具備する前部、後端を具備する
    後部および中間の股部を備えたバックシートと、 前記中間の股部に少なくとも配置された主吸収体と、 前記前部の前記前端と前記主吸収体との間の前記前部に
    折り返し可能な吸収パネルとを備え、この折り返し可能
    な吸収パネルは、該折り返し可能な吸収パネルと前記主
    吸収体が実質的に同一平面となる第１の位置と、該折り
    返し可能なパネルが前記主吸収体上に内側に向かって折
    り込まれた第２の位置との間を動作可能であり、更に、 前記股部の各側部に設置された一対の股部クッションバ
    リアーを有することを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  40. 【請求項４０】 請求項３９において、前記バックシー
    トの前記後端近傍に設置された後腰部クッションバリア
    ーを有することを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  41. 【請求項４１】 請求項４０において、前記クッション
    バリアーは、吸収性素材で形成されていることを特徴と
    する吸収性製品。
  42. 【請求項４２】 請求項４０において、前記クッション
    バリアーは、非吸収性素材で形成されていることを特徴
    とする吸収性製品。
  43. 【請求項４３】 請求項４０において、前記クッション
    バリアーは、防水性であることを特徴とする吸収性製
    品。
  44. 【請求項４４】 請求項４０において、前記クッション
    バリアーは、透水性であることを特徴とする吸収性製
    品。

    バリアーは、フォーム素材であることを特徴とする吸収
    性製品。

    パリアーのそれぞれに動作可能に合わせた弾性部材を有
    することを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  47. 【請求項４７】 請求項３９において、前記前部の前記
    主吸収体と前記折り返し可能な吸収パネルの反対側の面
    にループ面を有し、 １組の耳部のそれぞれが前記後部の向かい合った側部に
    有り、各耳部はフック面を備え、 前記フック面は前記ループ面に取り外し可能に結合でき
    ることを特徴とする吸収性製品。
  48. 【請求項４８】 請求項４７において、前記ループ面
    は、前記折り返し可能な吸収パネルと逆側の前記バック
    シートに、前記折り返し可能な吸収パネルと共に折り返
    しできる折り返し可能なループ面と、この折り返し可能
    なループ面の内側のバックシート上の折り返さないルー
    プ面とを備えていることを特徴とする吸収製製品。
  49. 【請求項４９】 請求項４８において、前記フック面は
    前記折り返し可能なループ面と折り返さないループ面と
    の両方に取り外し可能に結合できることを特徴とする吸
    収性製品。
  50. 【請求項５０】 請求項４８において、前記フック面
    は、前記折り返し可能なループ面と折り返さないループ
    面のいずれかと取り外し可能に結合できることを特徴と
    する吸収性製品。
  51. 【請求項５１】 請求項４７において、一方の前記耳部
    は前記フック面の反対側にループ面を備え、この耳部の
    フック面が前記ループ面に取り外し可能に結合でき、 他方の前記耳部のフック面は前記一方の耳部のループ面
    に取り外し可能に結合できることを特徴とする吸収性製
    品。
  52. 【請求項５２】 請求項５１において、前記ループ面
    は、前記バックシートの前記折り返し可能な吸収パネル
    と逆側の端部に設置され、この折り返し可能な吸収パネ
    ルと同時に折り返しできる折り返し可能なループ面と、
    この折り返し可能なループ面の内側に位置する折り返さ
    ないループ面とを備え、 前記一方の耳部のフック面は、前記折り返し可能な吸収
    パネルが折り込まれた前記第２の位置であるときに、前
    記折り返さないループ面と取り外し可能に結合でき、 前記他方の耳部のフック面は前記一方の耳部のループ面
    に取り外し可能に結合できることを特徴とする吸収製製
    品。
  53. 【請求項５３】 請求項３９において、複合ファイバー
    を具備するトップシートを備えていることを特徴とする
    吸収性製品。
  54. 【請求項５４】 請求項５３において、前記複合ファイ
