Description
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は整腸作用および下痢防止作用を有する
養豚用飼料に関するものである。
〔従来の技術〕
現在の養豚業界において、解決しなければなら
ない課題の1つに下痢、軟便の問題がある。下
痢、軟便は飼料の利用性を阻害すると同時に、発
育に大きな影響を与える。特に仔豚の時期の下
痢、軟便の影響は著しく、体重が停滞し、この影
響が後後まで継続し、生産性に大きな影響を与え
る。この問題を解決するために各種抗生物質が使
用されている。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
しかし、下痢が発症してからの薬剤投与では、
効果の認められないケースが多く、下痢の発生し
ない予防方法の開発が望まれていた。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明はこのような問題点を解決するべくなさ
れたものであり、養豚用飼料に特定の漢方薬を加
えることによつて下痢、軟便を予防できるばかり
でなく豚がこの飼料を好んで食し、豚に何ら悪影
響を及ぼさないことを見出して本発明を完成する
に至つた。
すなわち、本発明は穿心蓮、又は山査子を含有
せしめたことを特徴とする養豚用飼料に関するも
のである。
穿心蓮(センシンレン、Andrographis
panicul−ata(Burm.f.)Nees)はキツネノマゴ
科の植物である。飼料に添加する部位は全茎であ
つてもよく、葉の部位であつてもよい。又、この
穿心蓮はカルス培養したものであつてもよい。生
のまま飼料に添加してもよいが乾燥品のほうが飼
料の保存上好ましく、細断しあるいは粉末化して
飼料中に均一に混合されるようにするのがよい。
山査子は山里紅(ミサンザシ、Crataegus
pinn−atifida Bge.)、山査(オオサンザシ、
Crataegus pinnatifida Bge.var.major N.E.
Br.)、野山査(サンザシ、Crataegus cuneata
Siel.et Zucc.)などのバラ科の植物の果実であ
り、生のままでもよいがやはり乾燥品のほうが好
ましく、細断あるいは粉末化して用いるのがよ
い。
本発明の飼料には、穿心蓮又は山査子のどちら
か一方を加えればよいが、穿心蓮が一番有効であ
る。また、両方を飼料に添加することが好まし
い。混合比は乾燥重量比で穿心蓮1に対して山査
子1以下、通常は0.8〜0.1程度、特に0.7〜0.3程
度が適当である。飼料への添加量は0.1〜3重量
%程度が適当である。この添加量は複数の前記漢
方薬を加える場合にはその合計量である。
本発明の養豚用飼料のその他の成分は養豚用の
公知の飼料と同じでよく、蛋白質、エネルギー
源、カルシウム源、リン源、ビタミン類、ミネラ
ル等を含むものである。蛋白源としては、魚粉、
大豆粕、菜種粕、フエザーミール、ミートボーン
ミールなどであり、アミノ酸インバランスを補う
ためにDL−メチオニン、L−トリプトフアン、
L−リジン、L−スレオニンなどのアミノ酸を加
えてもよい。エネルギー源としては、とうもろこ
し、マイロ、小麦粉等の炭水化物と、飼料用油
脂、大豆油、粉末油脂等の油脂がある。カルシウ
ム源としては、例えば炭酸カルシウムがある。そ
の他、リン源、ビタミン類、ミネラル等を公知飼
料と同様に含有させる必要があることはいうまで
もない。含有率は、粗蛋白16〜22%程度、粗脂肪
3〜10%程度、カルシウム2.8〜3.5%程度、
ME2800〜3200Kcal/Kg程度でよい。
給餌方法も従来と同様でよい。
〔作用〕
養豚用飼料に穿心蓮、又は山査子を加えて給餌
すると豚の下痢や軟便の発生が大幅に減少する。
〔実施例〕
実施例 1
市販の養豚用餌付飼料「シーアイコロネード」、
商品名、伊藤忠飼料(株)製品)、に穿心蓮を0.125重
量%添加して混合した区、山査子を0.125重量%
添加して混合した区および穿心蓮:山査子:甘草
を重量比で1:2:1組み合わせた混合品を0.5
重量%添加した区を設け試験を実施した。各区と
も離乳直後の豚6頭を用い、7日間飼育した。同
時に糞便調査を10日間実施した。
飼育結果を第1表に、そして糞便調査結果を第
2表にそれぞれ示す。
