Claims (18)
- 1.ガス状の物質を酸化するための装置であって、前記装置の中に燃焼チャンバ を含み、前記装置および前記燃焼チャンバはともに先端および底を有し、前記装 置はさらにガス出口を有しかつ前記出口に負の圧力を印加する手段と関連して動 作するように適応され、プロセスガスおよび燃料源を前記燃焼チャンバの先端に 導入するための手段を含み、前記手段は前記燃焼チャンバの先端よりかなり下に 配置されるので固体の燃焼副成物はプロセスガスを導入するための前記手段より 上の前記燃焼チャンバの中には堆積せず、 酸素運搬ガス限前記燃焼チャンバの先端に導入するための手段と、 前記酸素運搬ガス限前記プロセスガスおよび燃料と混合して、前記混合物が前記 燃焼チャンバ内で燃焼して排煙を形成することができるように混合するための手 段と、前記排煙が前記燃焼チャンバの先端から出ることを許容するための手段と 、さらに 前記燃焼チャンバから出る前記排煙を前記装置の出口から出るように指向するた めの手段とを含む、装置。
- 2.燃焼の固体生成物を集めるための前記燃焼チャンバ下の取外し可能なトレイ をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 3.前記燃焼チャンバ内にあり、前記混合物が前記燃焼チャンバの壁に向かって 外方向に燃焼しているときに前記混合物を指向するための手段をさらに含む、請 求項1に記載の装置。
- 4.前記混合物指向手段は円錐形の構成を有しかつその先端に頂点を有する、請 求項3に記載の装置。
- 5.燃焼の固体生成物を混合物指向円錐からおよび前記燃焼チャンバの壁から除 去するための機械的スクレーパーをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 6.反応の固体生成物限プロセスガス/燃料入口および混合手段から除去するた めの機械的スクレーパーをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 7.ガス状物質を酸化するための装置であって、前記装置の中に燃焼チャンバを 含み、前記装置および前記燃焼チャンバは先端および底および垂直軸を有し、酸 素含有ガスを予熱するために適応された前記燃焼チャンバの半径方向に外方向に 配置された予熱器チャンバと、前記燃焼チャンバの先端にある混合ゾーンと、酸 素含有ガスを前記予熱器チャンバの中に導入するための手段と、 前記予熱器、燃料および不純物含有プロセスガスからの酸素含有ガスを前記混合 ゾーンの中に導入するための手段と、 第1の方向で前記混合ゾーンに入る前記酸素運搬ガスを渦巻かせるための第1の スイーラと、 第2の方向で前記混合ゾーンに入る前記プロセスガスを渦巻かせるための第2の スイーうと、 それを介して排煙が前記チャンバを出ることが可能な燃焼チャンバの底にある開 口部と、さらに燃焼の粒子生成物の堆積を前記焼却炉から除去するための手段と を含む、装置。
- 8.前記予熱器チャンバの同心的に外側に配置され、前記チャンバを前記装置の 上方向にかつ先端から出る前記排煙を指向するための垂直煙道と、前記排煙を冷 却空気と混合することによって前記排煙を冷却するための手段とをさらに含む、 請求項7に記載の装置。
- 9.プロセスガスを前記チャンバに供給するための導管と、十分な不燃性ガス限 前記導管の中に導入して前記導管の中のガスの流速を前記導管のガスヘの火炎伝 搬速度より上に上昇させるための手段とをさらに含む、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 10.前記導管の外部表面の上の燃料ガスの経路を指向することによって前記導 管を冷却するための手段をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 11.前記混合物を半径方向に外方向に指向するための前記燃焼チャンバ内の手 段をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 12.前記除去手段は前記燃焼チャンバ内で可動な機械的スクレーパーとこれら の手段内で表面と接触する入口手段とを含む、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 13.気流の中の物質を酸化するための方法であって、燃料およびプロセスガス を混合ゾーンの中に導入するステップと、 予熱された酸素運搬ガスを前記混合ゾーンの中に導入して、それを前記燃料およ びプロセスガスと混合して燃焼混合物を形成するステップと、 燃焼チャンバを介して下方向に前記燃焼混合物を指向し、かつ前記燃焼チャンバ を出る排煙を形成するステップと、前記混合チャンバヘの入室に先立って前記燃 料の前記酸化物からの熱で前記酸素運搬ガスを予熱するステップと、さらに 蓄積された固体燃焼生成物を前記チャンバの壁から自動的に除去するステップと を含む、方法。
- 14.前記予熱ステップは前記燃焼チャンバの外側の上を上方向に前記酸素運搬 ガスを通過させることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 15.前記混合ステップは第1の方向で前記混合ゾーンに入る予熱されたガスを 渦巻かせることと、第2の反対の方向で前記混合ゾーンに入る燃料およびプロセ スガスを渦巻かせることを含み、その結果前記渦巻ガスが衝突するときに乱れた 混合が発生する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 16.前記渦巻ガスの一方は前記渦巻ガスのもう一方の半径方向に内向きに前記 混合ゾーンの中に導入され、かつ前記燃焼チャンバの先端より十分低いので燃焼 の固体生成物は前記先端上に蓄積しない点で導入される、請求項15に記載の方 法。
- 17.前記排煙を冷却空気と混合することによって前記排煙を冷却するステップ をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 18.導管の断面積を低減することによってかつ前記チャンバの上流の前記導管 の中に十分な不燃性ガスを導入するので、前記導管の中のガスの流速は結果とし て生じるガス混合物の中の火炎伝搬速度より大きくなるようにすることによって 、プロセスガスを燃焼チャンバに供給する導管の中に火炎が逆流することを妨げ るステップさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
