Claims (6)
- 1.再使用可能なトランスデューサにおいて、リムによって取囲まれた開口を末 端とする空洞部と外部表面とを有する本体と、 前記空洞部を閉じるために、前記リムの上に配置された屈曲性のあるダイアフラ ムと、 を包含し、 前記本体は前記ダイアフラムから離れたところで穴を有していて、この穴は前記 本体の外部表面と前記空洞部とを連絡しており、 さらに、 前記穴を覆って前記外部表面上に取付けられた圧力センサーと、 前記空洞部と穴とを完全に充填し、かつ前記ダイアフラムと前記圧力センサーと の両者と接触する絶縁ゲルとを包含し、 これによって、前記ダイアフラムにかかった圧力が前記ゲルを介して前記センサ ーに伝達され、前記絶縁ゲルは前記ダイアフラムをわずかに拡張させることを特 徴とする再使用可能な圧力トランスデューサ。
- 2.請求の範囲第1項記載のトランスデューサにおいて、前記ゲルは前記空洞部 の中で、一緒になって混合された2つの部分から硬化され、 前記部分の内の1つはポリジメチルシロキサンと触媒とであり、前記部分の他の 1つは水素の架橋剤を有したポリジメチルシロキサンである再使用可能なトラン スデューサ。
- 3.トランスデューサの製造方法において、一方の側において空洞部と、前記空 洞部から他方の側へ延在した第一孔とを有した本体を形成することと、前記空洞 部への充填用の孔を形成することと、前記開口を屈曲性のあるダイアフラムで閉 じることと、前記第一孔の上にセンサー組立体を取付けることと、前記空洞部を 前記充填孔を介して硬化可能な液体で充填することと、 前記充填孔を閉止し、前記充填孔を閉止した時に、前記空洞部内の液体の量の故 に前記ダイアフラムを拡張させるようにすることと、 前記液体を硬化させ、ゲルを形成することと、を包含することを特徴とするトラ ンスデューサの製造方法。
- 4.請求の範囲第3項記載のトランスデューサの方法において、さらに、 前記硬化可能な液体を真空中で混合することと、前記空洞部が真空状態にある間 に、前記空洞部を前記液体で充填することを包含するトランスデューサの製造方 法。
- 5.請求の範囲第4項記載のトランスデューサの方法において、前記ゲルの一部 分はポリジメチルシロキサンとプラチナ触媒とであり、他の部分は水素の架橋剤 を有したポリジメチルシロキサンであるトランスデューサの製造方法。
- 6.請求の範囲第3項記載のトランスデューサの方法において、前記ゲルは1/ 4インチ(0.64cm)直径の脚部を有した19.5グラムのシャフトを用い たユニバーサル針入度計での針入度が約3.0−9.0mmであるトランスデュ ーサの製造方法。
