Description
本発明は一般式(I):
〔式中A,B,Rは低級アルキル基を示す。Z
は窒素原子もしくはCH基を示す。XおよびYは
それぞれ独立して、低級アルキル基または低級ア
ルコキシ基を示す。〕
で表されるピラゾールスルホニルウレア誘導体と
ソジウム・クロレート(以下クロレートソーダと
称する。)とを有効成分として含有することを特
徴とする除草剤組成物に関する。
長年にわたる除草剤の研究開発のなかから多種多
様な薬剤が実用化され、これら除草剤は雑草防除
作業の省力化や農園芸作物の生産性向上に寄与し
てきた。今日においても、より優れた除草特性を
有する新規薬剤の開発が要望されている。
一般式(I)で表される化合物は従来の除草剤
に比して非常に低薬量で優れた除草効果をあげる
が本発明者は、前記一般式(I)で表される化合
物の除草効果を増大させるべく研究を行つた結
果、一般式で表される化合物に、従来使用されて
いる前記除草剤を配合すると、それぞれの除草効
果が単に相加的にえられるのみならず、相乗的殺
草効果が現れる事を見出し本発明を完成した。
この相乗効果は大きく、本発明組成物により、低
薬量で一年生雑草から多年生雑草まで完全に防除
でき、本発明の有用性は非常に大きい。また上記
の混合施用によつて、本発明組成物中に含まれる
従来用いられてきた前記除草剤の使用薬量の低減
をも可能とし、極めて有用性が高い。
本発明除草剤組成物は、雑草の発芽前および発
芽後に処理しても効果を有し、土壌処理、茎葉兼
土壌処理でも高い効果が得られる。畑地、果樹園
などの農園芸分野及び運動場、空き地、林地、タ
ンクヤード、線路端などの非農耕地における各種
雑草の防除にも適用でき、雑草防除にあたつて大
きな経済的効果を示す。
本発明による組成物は各成分の相対的活性にも
よるが、一般にはクロレートソーダを1重量部当
たり一般式(I)で表される化合物0.0001〜50重
量部、好適には0.001〜10重量部含んでいる。多
くの場合本発明の配合除草剤の最高の利点は式
(I)で表される化合物の割合がクロレートソー
ダよりも比較的低い時、例えばクロレートソーダ
1重量部当たり一般式(I)で表される化合物が
0.001〜0.1重量部のときに得られる。
適用すべき混合物の量は、多数の因子、例えば
生育を阻止すべき特定の対象植物の種類などによ
り左右されるが、一般に0.001〜10Kg/haの量が
普通は適当である。当業者であれば標準化された
通常のテストにより特に多数の実験を行わなくて
も適当な使用割合が容易に決定出来る。
本発明組成物は、活性成分を固体または液体希
釈剤からなるキヤリヤーと混合した組成物の形態
で使用するのが好ましい。組成物は更に界面活性
剤を含むのが好ましい。
次ぎに本発明における一般式(I)で表される
化合物の代表例を第1表に示す。以下の化合物は
一般式(I)で表される化合物に包含されるもの
ではあるが、一般式(I)で表される化合物はこ
れらに限定されるものではない。

以下本発明を実施例によりさらに具体的に説明
するが、本発明における化合物、製剤量、剤型等
は実施例のみに限定されるものではない。

試験例 茎葉兼土壌処理による除草効果試験
縦15cm、横22cm、深さ6cmのプラスチツク製箱
に殺菌した洪積土壌を入れ、野外から採集したチ
ガヤ、ヨモギの地下茎10cmづつに切断したものを
各々5本づつそれぞれ植付け、約1.5cm覆土した。
植付け後30日目に有効成分量が所定の割合となる
ように茎葉部および土壌表面へ均一に散布した。
散布の際の薬液は、前記配合例の水和剤を水で希
釈して小型スプレーで各種雑草の茎葉部及び土壌
表面の全面に散布した。薬液散布4週間後に地上
部生存雑草重量を秤量し、無処理区の生存雑草重
量に対する残存雑草の割合を百分率で表し下記の
判定基準に従つて枯殺効果を判定した。結果を第
2表および第3表に示す。
