Traditionally, for gabled roofs and other shingles, the tiles were cut to match the gable end of the roof and installed along the shingles. However, the surface of tiles is usually treated with waterproofing treatment, so if tiles with cut edges are used as is in the past, rainwater will seep in through the cut edges of the tiles, shortening their useful life. There was a problem. Furthermore, since the cut end surface is brittle, there is a problem in that chipping is likely to occur there. Furthermore, the cut end surface of the tile often has a color and texture inferior to the original surface, which also has the disadvantage of deteriorating the appearance of the shingled portion.

The construction structure of the tile in the karaba of the present invention is to cover the cut end surface 2 of the tile 1 with a box-shaped sash 3 with an open side, and to partially overlap the tiles 1 covered with the sash 3 above and below each other. The locking pieces 6 protruding from the lower surface 5b of the front end of the upper tier 3 are fitted into the locking holes 7 drilled in the upper surface 5a of the lower tier. It is characterized in that it is formed by connecting three pieces. Since the cut end surface 2 of the tile 1 whose end has been cut off is covered by the tile 3, it is prevented from getting wet by rainwater, etc., and is also protected from wind and sunlight, thereby extending its service life. Since the cut end surface 2 is not visible and the appearance of the rugs can be smoothed out by inserting 3, the appearance is also improved. Moreover, the lower surface 5 of the front end of the upper part 3
The locking piece 6 protruding from b is inserted into the locking hole 7 drilled in the upper surface 5a of the lower sash to connect the upper and lower slits 3. By keeping the position constant, you can easily align the pitch between the tiles 3, and since the tiles 1 on the upper and lower levels are also connected through the tiles 3, the pitch between the tiles 1 can be adjusted as a measure. It can be easily taken out without having to be measured. Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The tile 1 shown in the drawing is a flat tile made of slate, etc., and the surface of the tile 1 (top, bottom, and entire circumferential surface) is waterproofed to prevent rainwater from seeping into the interior from the surface. being processed. The bar 3 has a long and narrow box shape with one side open, and is made of a metal plate, a synthetic resin-coated metal plate, or the like. In addition, a trapezoidal locking piece 6 with a tapered tip protrudes forward from the front end (underwater side) of the lower surface 5b of the inserting case 3 so that it can be easily inserted. A slit-shaped locking hole 7 is bored at the distance. In addition, if you make the length of the insert 3 (more precisely, the length of the internal space of the tile 3) equal to the longest length of the tile 1, and insert it into any cut end surface 2, you can fit the 3. You can do it like this. Furthermore, the thickness of the internal space of the tile 3 is approximately equal to the thickness of the tile 1. As shown in FIG. 6, the keraba drainer 8 is made of a material such as a metal plate such as a copper plate, a painted steel plate, or a synthetic resin-coated steel plate, and is formed into an approximately inverted L shape by an upper horizontal piece 9 and a hanging piece 10. There is. Furthermore, a water return 11 whose end is folded upward is provided on the edge of the upper horizontal piece 9, and a projecting portion 12 is provided between the upper horizontal piece 9 and the hanging piece 10. A bent portion 13 bent inward is provided at the lower end of the hanging piece 10 to increase the rigidity of the lower end of the hanging piece 10. Next, the construction direction of the present invention will be explained. As shown in FIG. 2, after the roofing 16 is laid on the roofing board 14 and the gable board 15,
There are 8 drainers on the top and sides of the entire length of the
is arranged, and the side of the gable board 15 has a keraba drainer 8
It is covered with a hanging piece 10 to improve the appearance of the gable side. After this, tiles 1 are laid on top of the roofing 16, and tiles 1 are placed on the gable end according to the roof dimensions.
The ends must be cut on site. The cut end surface 2 of the cut tile 1 is inserted into the side opening 4 of the tile 3 as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, and the tile 3 is fitted into the tile 1. In this way, the tile 1 is inserted into the cut end surface 2, and the locking piece 3 of the upper tile 3 is attached, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
is inserted into the locking hole 7 of the lower insert 3,
It is arranged so as to fit between the upper horizontal piece 9 of the drainer 8 and the protruding part 12, and the front part of the upper tile 1 is stacked on the rear part of the lower tile 1. In this construction state, if the locking piece 6 and the locking hole 7 are engaged, it will be inserted by 3.
and tile 1 are arranged at regular pitches, so tile 1
There is no need to measure and mark the dimensions in advance so that the distance between them is constant, and construction can be easily carried out. Further, since the front end of the upper tile 3 is fixed to the lower tile 3, the front end of the tile 1 does not float. It should be noted that rainwater that has entered between the shelf 3 and the shelf drainer 8 is prevented from entering any deeper by a water return 11, and is drained downward along the upper horizontal piece 9. The one shown in FIG. 7 is another example of the slit 3 of the present invention, in which a narrow rectangular locking piece 6 protrudes forward from the front end of the lower surface 5b of the slit 3. A slit-shaped locking hole 7 is bored in the upper part 5a of the lever 3. What is shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 is still another example of the present invention, in which a short intermediate piece 17 is suspended downward from the front end of the lower surface 5b of 3, and is directed rearward from the lower end of the intermediate piece. Then extend the horizontal piece 18 to form an L-shaped locking piece 6, then drill a slit-shaped locking hole 7 in the upper surface of the 3, and insert the locking hole 7 into the locking hole 7 as shown in FIG. The locking piece 6 is engaged with the locking piece 6.

As described above, the present invention covers the cut end of the tile with a box-shaped shingle with an open side, and the tile covered with this shingle is used for shingle roofing.
The cut edges of tiles with cut edges are covered with splints, which prevents rainwater from getting wet and protects them from wind and sunlight, increasing their service life. There are advantages. Further, since the cut end surface of the tile is hidden by the shingles, the appearance of the shingles can be made more uniform, and the appearance of the shingles can be made to be of good quality. Moreover, the locking piece protruding from the lower surface of the front end of the upper tier is inserted into the locking hole drilled in the upper surface of the lower tier to connect the upper and lower tiers. By keeping the position of the locking hole constant, the pitch between the tiles can be easily aligned, and since the tiles on the upper and lower levels are also connected through the slots, the pitch between the tiles can be adjusted easily. This method has the effect of simplifying construction because it can be easily taken out without having to measure it with a measuring tool or the like.
