Traditionally, for gabled roofs and other shingled roofs, the tiles were cut to match the gable end of the roof, and reeds were placed along the shingles. However, the surface of the tile is usually treated with waterproofing treatment, so if you cut the edges of the tile and lay it as is, as in the past, rainwater will seep in through the cut edge of the tile, shortening its useful life. There was a problem. In addition, since the cut end surface is brittle, there is a problem in that chipping is likely to occur there. Furthermore, the cut end surface of the tile is often inferior in color and texture to the original surface, which also has the disadvantage of deteriorating the appearance of the shingled portion.

The construction structure of the tile in the karaba of the present invention is to cover the cut end surface 2 of the tile 1 with a box-shaped sash 3 with an open side, and to partially overlap each other vertically. The insert piece 6 is installed on the bottom piece 5b of the upper insert piece 3.
is inserted under the upper surface piece 5a from the side opening 4 side of the lower insert 3 to connect the upper and lower inserts 3 to each other. Since the cut end surface 2 of the tile 1 whose end has been cut off is covered by the tile 3, it is prevented from getting wet by rainwater, etc., and is also protected from wind and sunlight, thereby extending its service life. Since the cut end surface 2 is not visible and the appearance of the rugs can be smoothed out by inserting 3, the appearance is also improved. Moreover, since the insertion piece 6 provided on the lower surface of the upper insertion rack 3 is inserted under the upper surface piece 5a from the side opening 4 side of the lower insertion rack 3, the insertion piece 6 can be inserted into the lower insertion rack 3. By simply inserting the connector into the connector 3, the upper and lower tiers can be easily connected to each other, and once inserted, the 3 can be prevented from floating. Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The tile 1 shown in the drawing is a flat tile made of slate, etc., and the surface of the tile 1 (top, bottom, and entire circumferential surface) is waterproofed to prevent rainwater from seeping into the interior from the surface. being processed. As shown in FIG. 1, the bar 3 has a long and narrow box shape with one side open, and is made of a metal plate, a synthetic resin-coated metal plate, or the like. In addition, from the front end (the end on the underwater side) to the approximate center of the inserting rack 3, as shown in FIG. The insertion piece 6 is extended. In addition, if you make the length of the insert 3 (more precisely, the length of the internal space of the insert 3) equal to the longest length of the tile 1, and insert it into any cut end surface 2, the 3 will fit. It may be possible to do so. Furthermore, the thickness of the internal space of the tile 3 is approximately equal to the thickness of the tile 1. As shown in FIG. 2, the keraba drainer 8 is made of a material such as a metal plate such as a steel plate, a painted steel plate, or a synthetic resin-coated steel plate, and is formed into an approximately inverted L shape by an upper horizontal piece 9 and a hanging piece 10. There is. Furthermore, a water return 11 whose end is folded upward is provided on the edge of the upper horizontal piece 9, and a projecting portion 12 is provided between the upper horizontal piece 9 and the hanging piece 10. is formed, and the lower end of the hanging piece 10 has a bent part 1 bent inward.
3 is provided to increase the rigidity of the lower end of the hanging piece 10. Next, the construction method of the present invention will be explained. Roofing 16 on top of the field board 14 and gable board 15
After the gable board 15 has been laid, a flask 8 is provided on the top and side surfaces of the gable board 15 over its entire length, and the gable board 1
The side surface of 5 is covered with a hanging piece 10 of a drainer 8 to improve the appearance of the gable side. After this, tiles 1 are placed on top of the roofing 16, but at the gable end, it is necessary to cut the ends of the tiles 1 on site to match the dimensions of the roof. The cut end surface 2 of the cut tile 1 is inserted into the side opening 4 of the tile 3, and the tile 3 is fitted. In this way, the tile 1 is inserted into the cut end surface 2 and the tile 3 is attached, and the insertion piece 6 of the upper tier 3 is inserted under the top piece 5a of the lower tier 3, as shown in FIG. 1 and the upper horizontal piece 9 of the drainer 8.
and the protruding portion 12.
In this construction state, the insertion piece 6 and the upper surface piece 5a of the insertion roof 3 are engaged to fix the insertion sleeve 3 and the roof tile 1, thereby preventing the roof tile 1 from lifting up or sagging. It should be noted that rainwater that has entered between the shelf 3 and the shelf drainer 8 is prevented from entering any deeper by a water return 11, and is drained downward along the upper horizontal piece 9. What is shown in FIG. 4 is another example of the insert 3 of the present invention, and as shown in FIG.
4, and are connected by an insertion piece 6 as shown in FIG. The ones shown in FIGS. 6a, b, c, d to FIG. 8 are still other examples of the present invention, in which a half-width notch 7 is formed from the side opening 4 side in the rear half of the top piece 5a of 3. A half-width insertion piece 6 extends from the half-width lower surface piece 5b, and a projecting piece 17 is further projected forward from the front end of the insertion piece 6. However,
As shown in FIG. 7, first insert the insertion piece 6 and the protruding piece 17 from the side into the notch 7 of the lower insertion plate 3, and then insert the insertion piece 6 into the upper surface piece 5a next to the notch 7.
After that, slide the upper insert 3 forward and insert the protrusion 17 under the upper surface piece 5a in front of the notch 17, and then close the upper insert as shown in Fig. 8. The shingle 3 and the lower shingle 3 are made to engage with each other.

As described above, the present invention covers the cut end of the tile with a box-shaped shingle with an open side, and the tile covered with this shingle is used for shingle roofing.
The cut edges of tiles with cut edges are covered with splints, which prevents rainwater from getting wet and protects them from wind and sunlight, increasing their service life. There are advantages. Further, since the cut end surface of the tile is hidden by the shingles, the appearance of the shingles can be made more uniform, and the appearance of the shingles can be made to be of good quality. Moreover, since the insertion piece provided on the bottom of the upper tier is inserted under the upper piece from the side opening side of the lower tier, the upper and lower tiers can be easily connected by simply inserting the insertion piece into the lower tier. The plugs can be easily connected to each other, the work can be simplified, and the plugs can be prevented from floating.
