Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of castable refractory pressed between back face of a water cooled metallic material and an iron shell of a blast furnace by sealing joint part between the mutual water cooled metallic materials. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical gauzes 2 having a little larger in outer diameter than in width of the joint part are bound to V-shaped studs 3 set at upper face and one side of the side faces of the water cooled metallic material 1 with wire, etc., and deformed as elliptic-state in the joint part and stuck to the side face of the water cooled metallic material 1, and then, the castable refractory is sprayed on the cylindrical gauzes 2 from inside of the furnace through a nozzle and stuck to the cylindrical gauzes 2 to seal mutually the joint part between the water cooled metallic materials. Interruption of pressing-in work caused by leakage of the pressed-in castable refractory is eliminated, and at the time of executing repairing work for blast furnace wall, blast stopping term in the blast furnace is shortened and the whole efficiency of iron-making plant is improved.

の水冷金物相互間の目地のシール方法に関する。

【従来の技術】従来、水冷金物の背面にキャスタブルを
圧入して高炉内の高温が高炉の鉄皮7(図5参照)に伝
導することを防止しているが、例えば、図4に示すよう
に水冷金物1の相互間の目地4にシール金物8を取り付
けて圧入時にキャスタブルが目地4から漏洩することを
防止している。また、図5に示すように水冷金物1を高
炉内面に取り付ける前にシール金物8を水冷金物1の高
炉内面側に溶接9にて固定し、シール金物8の背面に発
砲ポリエチレン等のパッキン材10を張り密着性を高め
て、キャスタブルの漏洩を防止していた。

ル性が確保できず、 圧入したキャスタブルが目地から
漏洩してしまう。加えて高炉休風時の高炉壁補修工事で
は高炉内に作業者が入ることができないため、漏洩を止
める作業が出来ない欠点があった。本発明の目的は、以
上の欠点を解決するために、 100%の確率で漏洩を
防止し、漏洩を止める作業が不要な目地シール方法を提
供することにある。

【実施例】以下、本発明による水冷金物の目地シール方
法について図1、図2および図3に示す実施例に基づい
て説明する。水冷金物1の上面と側面片側に予め、例え
ばV型スタッド3を図1に示すように数箇設置し、例え
ば亀甲金網等を円筒状に巻いた、円筒状金網2を針金で
V型スタッド3に結束し、図1に示すように予め水冷金
物1の上面と側面片側に設置する。水冷金物1が取り付
けられた際、円筒状金網2の外径を目地4の幅より若干
大きくしておけば、円筒状金網2は目地4の中で楕円状
に変形して、図2に示すごとく隣接する水冷金物1の側
面に密着する。全ての水冷金物が取り付けられた後、炉
外からノズル12またはキャスタブル吹き付け機を炉内
に挿入し、図3に示すごとく目地4にキャスタブルを吹
き付け、円筒状金網2にキャスタブル5を付着させ、キ
ャスタブル5が硬化した後に、水冷金物1と高炉鉄皮7
との間に圧入孔11からキャスタブル6を圧入するため
目地4からキャスタブル6が漏洩することはなく、 確
実にシールすることができる。
