Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent such accidents including the breakdown of equipments, the discontinuation of the plant operation, etc., due to the continuous operation of equipments by judging totally the overall state of the plant facilities at initial application of those equipments. CONSTITUTION:A process data processing circuit 11 is provided to compute and output the information on the plant facilities 16 after inputting and storing them together with an abnormality detecting function 12 which inputs the output signal and the alarm signals received from the circuit 11 and the facilities 16 respectively, a CRT display device 13 which displays the output of the function 12, an automatic control function 14 which decides previously an operation instruction based on the operating state of the facilities 16, and a control output function 15 which outputs an operation control command to the facilities 16 based on the outputs received from both functions 12 and 14. In such constitution, the abnormal state is monitored for an initially applied equipment based on the overall state of the facilities 16 after the initial application of the equipment. If an abnormal state is decided, a cut-off command is issued so that the actual abnormality of the equipment can be prevented.

(Prior art) As a process monitoring and control system that monitors and controls the equipment status of various plants such as water and sewage plants, buildings, roads, tunnels, etc., conventionally, the system captures the status of various equipment and displays the contents on a CRT. The automatic control function sends equipment turn-on and shut-off commands to the control output function to control the plant equipment, and the abnormality detection function determines the abnormal state of the equipment from the status data of various equipment and displays the details of the abnormality on the CRT. Based on the contents, operators control the plant.

(Plot II) However, in conventional process monitoring and control systems, when the equipment is initially turned on, the equipment operates normally, but it is not determined whether or not there is an abnormality in the equipment as a whole. Despite this, if the system continued to operate as it was, there was a possibility that it would not only damage the equipment but also cause an accident such as a shutdown of the plant equipment.
