The invention has at least one profiled edge. This relates to plate materials that can be used.
【0002】0002
The plate material has a substrate and a cover plate that are coupled to each other, and the peripheral part of the cover plate is an edge. protruding from the edge of the substrate located near the location where the chiseled edge is to be formed. , the cover plate is partially coupled to the substrate. The method for forming a plate as described above is known from U.S. Pat. No. 3,392,074. It is being In that case, a filling piece with a bordered edge shape is placed at the edge of the substrate. The cover plate is then pressure bonded to the filler piece. The disadvantage of this method is that Because the edges are curved, the pressure can be applied at all points during the bonding process. This is extremely difficult to maintain. If this pressure is insufficient, The adhesion is incomplete in some areas, so that the cladding board is not fully bonded to the filler piece. . If this bond is insufficient, the covering plate will easily crack when subjected to impact force, etc. There is a risk that the product may become damaged. In addition, this poorly bonded area is affected by the passage of time and thermal effects. Air bubbles may also be generated due to the sound. Furthermore, the impact force on the edge of the edging is Inserts within the border edges must be constructed of hardwood to provide sufficient resistance to It is expensive because the hardwood has to be cut into the desired shape. It has the disadvantage of being ugly.

The present invention enables the manufacture of plate materials in a simpler manner, and eliminates the occurrence of non-bonded parts of the cover plate. The purpose of this project is to provide high-quality board materials. In order to achieve this purpose, the present invention: comprising a substrate and a covering plate having at least one bordering edge and bonded to each other; a board material that is attached to the edge of the substrate at the peripheral area of the covering plate and the border edge; The area surrounds the columnar space filled with the hardening filler and is located above the area that lines up with the edge of the substrate. On the other hand, an additional intermediate space is provided between the substrate and the covering plate, and the additional intermediate space is provided between the substrate and the covering plate. The intermediate space was also filled with the above-mentioned hardening type filler.
0004 The filling material is injected into the void space in a liquid state, so it is tightly covered with the entire boundary of the covering plate. As a result, non-contact areas may occur when the filling hardens. do not have. Therefore, according to the plate material according to the present invention, it is possible to avoid the troublesome formation of filling pieces on the substrate. The arrangement work can be omitted and is substantially simpler. Such reasons and expensive edging The finished planks are somewhat less expensive, since no inserts of carved hardwood are required. By shaping the edges of the substrate to match the edge shape, the filling can be conveniently You can save a lot of money. This effect is caused by the gap between the edge of the substrate and the periphery of the cover plate. Trim the edges of the board to roughly correspond to the edge shape to minimize the void space. This can be further enhanced by forming
[0005] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the substrate to which the covering plate is partially adhered is placed on the mold, and This is because the outer surface of the peripheral part of the cover plate protruding from the plate is made to fit against the mold. Additionally, this portion of the cover plate can be easily bent into the desired shape. The plate material according to this invention is a. The substrate with the covering plate bonded to it is placed on a mold with a bordered edge shape, and the covering plate is The process of bringing the outer surface of the periphery closer to the mold, b. In the space surrounded by the periphery of the cover plate and the edge of the board, insert a hardener to bond both plates together. a step of filling the molded filling; c. curing the filling, and d. The process of removing this board from the mold manufactured by a method including In addition, before bonding the cover plate to the adhesive surface of the board, A recess is provided in a portion of the end face of the substrate that is accommodated within the border edge, and this recess is used for the adhesive described above. If it has an interface that crosses the surface and merges with the adhesive surface, the substrate and the covering plate The tip of the joining surface is in a straight line, so that the edge of the border is immediately If it is bent, the bent line extends along the straight line. This method is advantageous when used for manufacturing kitchen worktops, etc. , the substrate is plywood or wood fiberboard, and the cover board is a thermosetting resin board that can be post-formed. Ru. Then, by heating the covering plate while the filling is not completely cured, The coated plate can be plastically reshaped.
[0006] The plate material according to the present invention is used to manufacture the top plate of a kitchen countertop having a water damming edge. It is ideal for In order to assemble quickly and fill the void well, the hardened filling is covered. Preferably, the space between the cover plate and the substrate is supplied under pressure. Furthermore, in the device for forming a board according to the present invention, the peripheral part of the covering board is the coating so that it protrudes from the edge of the substrate near where the edge is to be formed. A coupling device for coupling the board to the substrate, a workbench, and a coupling device attached to the workbench. A mold with a edging edge shape that is attached to the workbench and holds the board on the workbench. and a positioning means for positioning the peripheral outer surface of the covering plate against the mold. and a filling device.
[0007] A preferred example of the apparatus for forming the plate material according to the present invention is a secondary forming device as a covering plate. To enable the use of moldable thermosetting sheet materials, heating of the periphery of the cladding plate is possible. Equipped with heating means. If you install a mold that is movable relative to the substrate placed on the workbench, you can easily move the inside of the mold during manufacturing. There is no need to move the position of the cover plate to align the peripheral part of the cover plate with the Particularly advantageous. As a result, damage to the cladding during manufacture is completely reduced.

It will be done. Both plates are placed in a space 12 surrounded by the peripheral part 4 of the cover plate 3 and the edge 6 of the substrate 2. A hardening type filler 13 that adheres is filled. The filling material 13 is a filling material supply device (not shown). It is supplied from the nozzle 38 of 1). When the cavity 12 is completely filled with the filler, The supply is stopped and the filling hardens. After that, the positioning means 11 and the holding means 10 has moved to a resting position a certain distance away from the plate 1, the completed plate 1 is placed on the workbench. It is taken out from the mold 8 on top of 7. The excess filling material overflowing from the surface 35 of the substrate 2 is , then scraped off.

In this case, the substrate 2 is made of plywood or compressed wood fiber, and the cover plate 3 can be formed by secondary molding. It is a sheet of thermosetting resin. The characteristic of this type of sheet is that the synthetic resin is chemically By heating the sheet until it is sufficiently hardened, it can be plastically formed again. It lies in the fact that it can be reshaped. Therefore, the peripheral part 4 of the covering plate 3 is placed against the mold 8. The cover plate 3 is heated before being brought together.
0010 FIG. 2 shows that a support plate 16 is placed on the substrate 2 to obtain the desired height of the border edge 5a. It shows that it is placed. In the vicinity of the border edge 5a, the edge 6 of the substrate 2 The shape roughly corresponds to the shape of the border edge 5a. As a result, the circumference of the covering plate 3 Less filler 13 is required to fill the void 12 between the side 4 and the edge 6 of the substrate 2. It's all about quantity. In this embodiment, the surface of the edge 6 is the joining surface 18 of the substrate 2 with the covering plate 3. It joins the boundary surface 17 that crosses the . By this, when the cover plate 3 is combined, , since the adhesive 19 is squeezed out from between the substrate 2 and the cover plate 3, the plate 3 is squeezed out more than necessary. There is an advantage that there is no need to combine and 2 (see FIG. 3). However, fig. 4, the surface of the edge 6 forms an interface 17 that crosses between the substrate 2 and the covering plate 3. Bonding is also possible in the case where the bonding surface 18 is merged without having a bonding surface. If the latter In this case, the amount of adhesive 19 squeezed out from between plates 2 and 3 varies at various points. If the bending line 20 of the covering plate 3 is It should not be in a straight line in the vertical direction with respect to the plate material 1 that terminates at the damming edge 15. It becomes. This can be avoided by the presence of a transverse boundary surface 17. Particularly suitable materials for use as fillers are urethane resins. This substance is , a chemical reaction between two components that are mixed just before filling the cavity with material harden quickly.

[0013] Finally, FIG. 7 shows a preferred example of an apparatus 33 for manufacturing the plate material 1 according to the present invention. , in which case the mold 8 is moved to its rest position 36 by a conveying means (not shown). It is possible to move from the position to the work position 37 in the direction of the board 2. And this The substrate 2 is integrally combined with a cover plate 3 made of a thermosetting resin that can be formed into a second form. The cage is held firmly against the workbench 7 by the holding means 10 at the position where it abuts the stopper 34. It is well maintained. This example includes heating means for heating the peripheral part 4. child After the peripheral part 4 of is heated to the desired temperature and reshaped, - the heating means 27 moves in the direction indicated by arrow 28 - the periphery 4 is shaped to match the mold 8; The molding process is completed. In this device, a substrate 2 to which a covering plate 3 is partially bonded is There is no need to move the side part 4 relative to the mold 8 after heating it, so this method There is an advantage that there is almost no risk of damage to the covering plate 3 during the process. . In this example, the positioning means 11 is a positioning means that can be guided and moved relative to the mold 8. It is composed of a tool 59.
[0014] According to a preferred method, the hardening filler is fed under pressure into the cavity 12. Figure 8~ As shown in FIG. 10, a filling hole 60 is drilled in the substrate 2 in advance. heated After placing the substrate 2 with the covering plate 3 in the mold 8, a sealing plate 65 seals the cavity 12. is placed. The nozzle 61 of the injection head 62 is connected to the guide hole 60 . This injection The head 62 is, for example, a device for injecting a curable two-component substance under pressure. It makes up the department. In this way, the space 12 is filled with the hardening type filler under pressure. This not only ensures sufficient filling of the void, but also improves the adhesion of the peripheral portion 4 to the mold 8. is particularly good. The filling guide hole 60 may be provided in the sealing plate 65 instead of the substrate 3. good.
[0015] Note that if the shape of the border is modified, the sealing plate 65 becomes unnecessary. Shown in Figure 9 As shown in FIG. By pressing in the direction 71, the cavity 12 can be sealed. Also, As shown in FIG. 10, the edge 6 of the substrate 2 is chamfered to form an acute point 74. For example, by pressing the acute point 74 against the peripheral portion 4 in the direction of the arrow 75, the quality can be improved. Good sealing performance can be obtained.

The invention has at least one profiled edge. This relates to plate materials that can be used.

Pat. No. 3,392,074. It is being According to this method, a filling piece having a bordered edge shape is placed at the edge of the substrate. The covering plate is then pressure bonded to the filler piece.

The problem with the above conventional method is that the edges of the border are curved, so during the gluing process However, it is extremely difficult to maintain a sufficiently high pressure at all locations. If this pressure is insufficient, the adhesion may be incomplete in some areas and the coating may The plate will not bond well with the filler piece. If this bond is insufficient, the impact force etc. If this happens, cracks may easily occur in the cover plate. In addition, this Due to the passage of time and the influence of heat, bubbles may form in the joints. In addition, in order to obtain sufficient resistance to impact forces on the edging edge, the edging edge The inner insert must be constructed of hard wood, which is expensive; The problem arises that the tree must be cut into the desired shape. This invention was developed to address these conventional problems, and to solve them using a simpler method. The purpose is to provide a plate material that can be manufactured and that does not generate non-bonded parts of the covering plate. It is.

By configuring as in the above device, the peripheral part of the covering plate and the edge The edge of the substrate at the edge of the substrate surrounds the columnar part filled with the hardening filler. By doing so, the volume of the columnar part becomes smaller and the above-mentioned intermediate part is provided. By doing so, the entire interior of the columnar portion, including the intermediate portion, will not form a cavity. Instead, it becomes filled with the above filling.

[0011] FIG. As a result, the circumference of the covering plate 3 The expensive filling 13 filled in the columnar part 12a between the side part 4 and the edge 6 of the substrate 2 is very expensive. Only a small amount is required. Moreover, as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. An additional intermediate portion 12b is provided between the cover plate 3 and the additional intermediate portion 12b. is also filled with a filling 13. Then, in providing this intermediate portion 12b Therefore, the entire columnar portion 12a, including the intermediate portion 12b, is completely formed without creating a cavity. The entire surface is filled with the filler 13, and no non-adhesive portions of the covering plate 3 occur. ing.
0012 On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 11, the edge 6 extends the substrate 2 without changing its thickness. In the plate material 100 formed without providing the intermediate portion 12b shown in FIG. A minute portion 101 having a substantially triangular cross section is formed between the peripheral portion 4 of the covering plate 3 and the substrate 2 . Therefore, it is impossible to completely fill the area between the peripheral part 4 and the edge part 6 with the filling material 13. This is always difficult, and the minute portion 101 tends to become hollow. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 12, generation of minute portions 101 as shown in FIG. 11 can be avoided. In order to achieve this, a cover plate 3 is bonded to a substrate 2 that does not have an edge 6 as shown in FIG. In the plate material 101, the volume between the end of the substrate 2 and the peripheral part 4 of the covering plate 3 is large. This results in a large amount of expensive filling material 13 being required. In this embodiment having the edge portion 6 and the intermediate portion 12b, such a problem will not occur. There isn't.
[0013] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the surface of the edge 6 has a bonding surface 18 with the covering plate 3 of the substrate 2. It merges with the boundary surface 17 that it crosses. With this, when the covering plate 3 is combined, Since the adhesive 19 is squeezed out from between the substrate 2 and the covering plate 3, the adhesive 19 is squeezed out from between the substrate 2 and the cover plate 3, so There is an advantage that there is no need to combine with 2 (see FIG. 3). However, Figure 4 As shown in FIG. Bonding is also possible when the bonding surface 18 is merged without having any. If the latter In this case, the amount of adhesive 19 squeezed out from between the plates 2 and 3 varies from place to place. If the bending line 20 of the cover plate 3 is different from the water, which may occur in practice, It should not be in a straight line in the vertical direction with respect to the plate material 1 that terminates at the damming edge 15. become. This can be avoided by the presence of a transverse boundary surface 17. A particularly suitable material for use as filler 13 is urethane resin. this substance is caused by a chemical reaction between two components that are mixed just before filling the cavity with material. Cures extremely quickly.
[0014] FIG. 5 shows a border edge 5 in which the cover plate 3 is placed on the side of the edge 6 of the substrate 2. It is bent back. Therefore, the border edge 5 has a finished outer appearance when viewed diagonally from below. have an opinion. Furthermore, in the apparatus for forming the plate material 1 according to the present invention, the peripheral part 4 of the covering plate 3 is such that it protrudes from the edge 6 of the substrate 2 located near the location where the border edge is to be formed. A coupling device for coupling the cover plate 3 to the substrate 2, a workbench, and a workbench. A mold with a bordered edge shape that is attached to a A holding means for holding the plate and an outer surface of the peripheral part 4 of the covering plate 3 against the mold. and a feeding device for the filling material 13.
[0015] A preferred example of the device for forming the plate material 1 according to the present invention is The periphery 4 of the cover plate 3 is processed so that a thermosetting sheet member that can be subsequently formed can be used. Equipped with heating means. If a movable mold is provided for the substrate 2 placed on the workbench, the mold can be moved during manufacturing work. There is no need to move the position of the covering plate 3 in order to fit the peripheral part 4 of the covering plate 3 into the inside. This is particularly advantageous. As a result, damage to the cover plate 3 during manufacturing is completely reduced. do. FIG. 6 shows an apparatus 29 for manufacturing the plate material 1 according to the invention. This device 29 , as shown in c in FIG. 1, has a structure for forming a water damming edge. Parts corresponding to c in Figure 1 are given the same numbers and have the same functions. be.
[0016] In this case, the holding means 10 is composed of a plurality of suction pads 30. , only one of which is shown in the drawing. This suction pad 30 is placed in a vacuum Therefore, the flat synthetic resin upper surface 14 of the covering plate 3 is held by suction. positioning means In this case, 11 is constituted by first and second comb-like members 22 and 23. There is. The second comb tooth member 23 protrudes into the first comb tooth member 22 and the duct 2 By feeding pressurized air into the hose 26 through the second comb member 2 3 can be moved in the direction shown by arrow 24. During this operation, the cover plate 3 is forcibly pressed against the mold 8. The movement in the opposite direction is caused by the spring 3 This is done by 1.
[0017] As mentioned above, in order to reshape the cover plate 3 made of thermosetting resin, the protrusion is The surrounding area 4 is heated. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. The covering plate 3 connected to , is placed on the workbench 7 and the positioning means 11. by heating means (not shown) The peripheral portion 4 is then heated to the desired temperature. Substrate 3 with covering plate 3 attached is moved to its proper position on the workbench 34 where it abuts the stopper 34, and then , the peripheral part 4 is positioned so that the end face is aligned with the mold 8 by the positioning means 11. It is decided. In addition, although the filling material supply device is not shown here, it is a well-known device. Here, only the nozzle 38 is shown.
[0018] Finally, FIG. 7 shows a preferred example of an apparatus 33 for manufacturing the plate material 1 according to the present invention. In this case, the mold 8 is moved from its rest position 36 by a conveying means (not shown). It is possible to move from the substrate 2 toward the working position 37. And this base The plate 2 is integrally combined with a cover plate 3 made of a thermosetting resin that can be formed into a second form. The holding means 10 firmly holds the workbench 7 at the position where it abuts the stopper 34. and is held. This example includes heating means for heating the peripheral part 4. this After the peripheral part 4 has been heated to the desired temperature and reshaped, - the heating means 2 7 moves in the direction shown by arrow 28 - the peripheral part 4 is molded to a shape that matches the mold 8 and the finished product is The shaping process is completed. In this device, a substrate 2 to which a covering plate 3 is partially bonded is attached to the surrounding area. There is no need to move part 4 relative to mold 8 after heating it, which makes this method The advantage is that there is little risk of damage to the covering plate 3 during implementation. In this example, the positioning means 11 is a positioning tool that can be guided and moved relative to the mold 8. It consists of 59 pieces.
[0019] According to a preferred method, the hardening filler is fed under pressure into the cavity 12. The filling guide hole 60 may be provided in the sealing plate 65 instead of the substrate 3. good.
[0020] Note that if the shape of the border is modified, the sealing plate 65 becomes unnecessary.
【0021】[0021]
As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, at least one border In the plate material having a substrate and a covering plate that are coupled to each other, the covering plate has a The periphery of the cover plate and the edge of the substrate at the edge of the border are filled with a hardened filler. The substrate and the covering are placed above the area surrounding the raised columnar part and aligned with the edge of the substrate. An additional intermediate portion is provided between the cover plate and the additional intermediate portion is also hardened. It is filled with mold filler. Therefore, the filling material is injected in a liquid state into the columnar part including the middle part. As a result, it adheres to the entire boundary of the covering plate, and as a result, when the filling hardens, Therefore, no non-contact parts occur.
[0022] Therefore, according to the plate material according to the present invention, there is no need for the troublesome arrangement of filling pieces on the substrate. The process can be omitted and it is actually simpler. That's why and expensive edged hardwood Since no inserts are required, the finished board is somewhat cheaper. edge of board Filling can be advantageously saved by shaping the part to match the shape of the edging edge. can be done. This effect is due to the fact that the gap between the edge of the board and the periphery of the cover plate is small. Form the edge of the board so that it roughly corresponds to the shape of the edging edge. This is further enhanced by this. Furthermore, in the plate material according to the present invention, a substrate with a partially adhered covering plate is placed on a mold. Then, make sure that the outer surface of the peripheral part of the cover plate protruding from the substrate rests against the mold. Because it can be formed, this part of the cover plate can be easily bent into the desired shape, The above plate material can be manufactured using a simpler method without creating non-bonded parts of the cover plate. It has the effect of being able to be constructed.
