Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent blockages of a grate and nozzles and abnormal combustion caused by covering over combustion flames by providing upper buffer shelves which take the impact of refuse falling into a furnace. CONSTITUTION:Upper buffer shelves 18 are located below the upper ends of water tubes 14 in a furnace so as not to interfer the gas vent path function of the water tubes 14. A first shelf water tube 18a, a constitutional member of the buffer shelves 18, is laid though the center of the furnace and both ends are connected to the wall of a water jacket, and a second shelf water tube 18b is laid parallel to the first shelf water tube 18a, located at a lower level than the first one 18a and connected to the wall of the water jacket by a shelf rising pipe 18c so that it is capable of sufficiently bearing the impact of falling refuse and the generated steam is allowed to being easily discharged. The first shelf water tube 18a is held by a shelf rising pipe 18d. When a heavy roll 19 of plastic sheet or the like is fed from a feed port 20, the roll strikes against the buffer shelves 18 and its impact to an ash pile on a grate 6 is diminished. Moreover, as the roll does not fall directly on the ash pile, blockages of the grate 6 and combustion air nozzles are prevented.

Conventionally, this type of incinerator was operated only during the daytime for 8 to 10 hours by incinerating waste by inputting it through the waste input port 5.The operator would input a large amount of incinerated material before leaving work and set the fan to continuous operation. I left the company. However, due to the accumulation of unburned materials on the rosdol or the occurrence of a phenomenon of blockage in the upper part of the deposits, the ash discharged the next morning contains a large amount of unburned materials. Therefore, if unburned gas remains in the furnace at this time, there is a risk of an explosion within the furnace. Furthermore, to describe the structure of the conventional device in front of FIGS. 5 and 7 with reference to FIGS. 9 and 10, the waste incinerator 1
Usually, a furnace with a circular cross section is adopted, and the inner wall of the furnace is formed by a water jacket 3 including an air supply pipe 2, and the combustion air is supplied from a plurality of nozzles 4 of the air supply pipe that penetrates the inner wall surface of the water jacket 3. The materials to be incinerated are fed into the furnace from the supply port 5. At the bottom of the furnace, there is provided a rosdol 6 formed of a water pipe or the like, and the ash is taken out from an ash basin 7 at the bottom with a shovel or the like. The combustion residue on the Rosdol is taken out from the takeout port 8. Cooling water 9 is supplied to the water jacket 3 from the nozzle 10, receives heat in the water jacket, and becomes a steam/water mixture 1.
It is sent out from the second nozzle 11. Also, air supply pipe 2
Air is supplied from pipes 13a and 13b.

This small-sized incinerator experienced abnormal combustion in the furnace, which does not normally occur in large-scale equipment or models that transport waste horizontally, due to the accumulation of unburned gas due to bridging of the materials to be incinerated. In that case, the only problem was the scattering of incinerated ash, but countermeasures must be taken to ensure safe driving. When we examine the cause of the accident, we find that the records of the handlers show that it is due to co-combustion of materials such as paper and vinyl materials, which generate a large amount of heat, and the amount of incineration per unit time is also large. Understood. The melted vinyl material and the bags made of the same material adhere to the furnace wall to hold the semi-melted unburned paper that is to be incinerated, forming a lid over the inside of the furnace and steaming the waste thrown in. As a result, unburned gas accumulates between the material being incinerated at the bottom and the material used as the lid, and incomplete combustion continues, and at that time, fresh outside air is released by accidentally removing the ash. It is estimated that when the gas flows in, the flammable gas ignites and abnormal combustion occurs.

Therefore, a need has arisen for an apparatus having a structure that prevents this type of flammable gas from accumulating in the furnace.

For this reason, the inventor first proposed a countermeasure for this problem in Japanese Patent Application No. 2-135.
I have filed application No. 278. A device according to one embodiment is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, in which a water pipe 14 is provided in the furnace parallel to the water wall, and combustion gas accumulates in the vicinity of the lower rostrum 6. A combustion gas vent passage 15 is formed to prevent an explosion within the combustion chamber. As a result of operating the apparatus shown in the above drawings according to an embodiment of the present invention, combustion was carried out suitably, and when inspected during suspension of operation, the number of nozzle blockages was approximately 1/8 of that in the case of the conventional apparatus, and combustion ash was observed. There were no solidified lumps and the color of the ash was white, indicating good combustion.

However, on the other hand, when a roll of synthetic resin sheet or a roll of synthetic resin-covered paper is put into the furnace as incineration material, the molten resin before combustion combines with the combustion ash, and When the introduced roll falls onto the ash pile, the compacted mass mixed with the ash and molten resin causes clogging of the lower rosdol due to the impact of the fall, and at the same time, the level near the level of the lower rosdol is clogged. This caused a problem in that the nozzle in the water wall located in the area became clogged and the operation of the combustion equipment had to be stopped. Therefore, it is important not to drop the roll directly onto the ash pile, and it has become necessary to propose a device to prevent this.

Furthermore, the second shelf water pipe 18b is similarly provided substantially parallel to the first shelf water pipe 18a, and its horizontal level is lower than this. The second shelf water pipe 18b is connected to the wall of the water jacket by a shelf rising pipe 18c so as to sufficiently withstand the impact of falling objects such as heavy rolls, and to facilitate the delivery of generated steam.

Effect> When the heavy roll 19 of synthetic resin sheet etc. is introduced into the supply port 2o, it collides with the buffer shelf 18, weakening the impact force on the ash accumulation on the rosdol, and directly hitting the ash accumulation. Since it does not fall, there is no chance of clogging of the loss dollar 6 or the combustion air nozzle.

Also, as shown in the figure, when the weight roll 19 is placed on the upper buffer shelf 18, the high temperature combustion gas from the combustion gas venting passage 15 and sufficient combustion air are supplied to the heavy roll on the shelf and the weight roll is combusted. The melt will not clog the loss dollar or combustion air nozzle.
