Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate cleaning of a bottom surface of a cooking room without causing a heater to be removable by a method wherein at least a part of the bottom wall of the cooking room is formed by a heat transfer plate member and then the heater is arranged at a lower location of the plate member. CONSTITUTION:In case of performing an oven cooking operation, heaters 18 and 22 are electrically energized. In this case, a turn table 20 on which a cooked item is placed is rotationally driven by a motor 19. In this way, the cooked item is heated and cooked by both heaters 18 and 22. In particular, radiation heat from the lower heater 18 passes through a heat transfer glass plate 16 to radiate against the cooked item within a cooking room 13 so as to heat it. In this case, a part of a bottom wall 15 is made by the heat transfer glass plate 16 and the heater 18 is arranged at the lower location, so that in case of cleaning the bottom surface of the cooking room 13, it is not hindered by the heater 18, but its cleaning may easily be carried out and further the heater 18 may not be damaged. In addition, the heater 18 is not needed to be removed, resulting in making no troublesome operation.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) By the way, the bottom surface of the cooking chamber 1 tends to be relatively dirty and is cleaned frequently. However, in the above-mentioned method, since the heater 3 is located at the bottom of the cooking chamber 1, there is a risk that the heater 3 may get in the way and be damaged while cleaning. As a countermeasure to this problem, there is a device in which the heater 3 is made removable, but with this device, it is troublesome to attach and detach the heater, and there is also a risk of damaging the heater when attaching and detaching it.

Reference numeral 11 denotes an outer box of a microwave oven with an oven function, and a casing 12 with an open front is disposed inside the casing, and the inside of the casing 12 serves as a cooking chamber]3. and outer box 1
A door 14 is provided on the front side of 1. Said cooking chamber 13
The bottom wall 15 is formed from the lower plate portion 12a of the housing 12 and a heat-permeable and heat-resistant glass plate 16, which is a heat-permeable plate member. That is, the lower plate portion 12a
In the rear part of the cooking chamber 13, a recessed part 17 having an inverted trapezoidal cross section and extending in the left-right direction is formed, and the upper opening periphery of the recessed part 17 has a step corresponding to the thickness of the glass plate 16. A mounting portion 17a is formed. However,
A peripheral portion of the glass plate 16 is placed on this placing portion 17a, so that part of the bottom wall 15, in this case the rear portion, is made of the heat-permeable glass plate 16. Reference numeral 18 denotes a heater, which is disposed within the recessed portion 17, and is thus provided at a lower portion of the glass plate 16, particularly at a rear portion. Reference numeral 19 designates a turntable driving motor disposed at the inner bottom of the outer box 11, and its shaft 19a extends through the bottom wall 15, in this case the lower plate portion 12a, and projects into the cooking chamber 13. This shaft 19
A turntable 20 is removably attached to a. The glass plate 16 and the heater 8 are located at the rear of the motor 9. Further, a bulge 21 that projects upward is formed on the upper plate portion 12b of the housing 12, and a heater 22 is disposed in this bulge 2. 23 is a magnetron, and 24 is a waveguide.

Now, in the above configuration, electricity is supplied to the heaters 8 and 22 when oven cooking is performed. In this case, the turntable 20 on which the food to be cooked is placed is rotationally driven by the motor 19. Thus, the food to be cooked is heated and cooked by both heaters 8.22. In particular, the radiant heat from the lower heater 8 passes through the heat-transparent glass plate 16 and irradiates and heats the food to be cooked in the cooking chamber 13.

According to this embodiment, the heat-transmissive glass plate 16
Since it forms a part of the bottom wall 15 and the heater 8 is provided below it, when cleaning the bottom surface of the cooking chamber 13, cleaning can be easily carried out without being obstructed by the heater 8. There is no risk of damaging the heater 8. Furthermore, since there is no need to remove the heater 8,

FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, which differs from the first embodiment in the following points. That is, the lower plate portion 1 of the housing 12
2a is formed with an opening 25 instead of a depression, and a mounting portion 25a is formed around the periphery of this opening 25. A glass plate 16 is placed on this placement portion 25a. A reflecting plate 26 having an inverted trapezoidal cross section is attached to the opening 25.
A heater 18 is arranged on this reflection plate 26. Further, a large number of small holes 27 having a diameter of 2 to 5 mm are formed in this reflecting plate 26. According to this second embodiment, the thermal efficiency can be improved by the reflective plate 26, and by providing the small holes 27, it is possible to prevent water, broth, etc. from accumulating when they flow into the reflective plate 26. In addition, the size of the small hole 27 (
