Abstract

PURPOSE: To use a laminate of a dyed film covered with a clear coat layer within a molding process by supporting a laminate consisting of a film layer, the clear coat layer and the coating film held between both layers and having a predetermined gloss and a predetermined color within a form. CONSTITUTION: A laminate 10 is supported within a molding form 18 so that the film layer 12 faces to the injection port of the form having a predetermined mold shape 20 and a part main body 22 is molded to be further bonded to the film layer 12 of the laminate 10. The part main body 22 is molded into the shape of the predetermined form 18 while it holds the glass and color of the laminate 10 and, even after the part main body 22 is taken out, the surface bonded to the laminate of the part main body can hold the predetermined gloss and color of the laminate substantially. The main body can be bonded to the laminate by in-mold technique.

Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】 1、フィルム層(12)、クリアコート層(14)、及
びその両者に挟まれた塗膜(16)より成る所定の光沢
と色を備えたラミネート(10)から形成された塗装面
を有する成形部品の製造方法において、前記ラミネート
(10)を用意し、所定の型形状(20;20′)を有
する成形用型枠(18;18′)の注入口にフィルム層
(12)側が面するように該ラミネート(10)を型枠
内(18;18′)に支持し、部品本体(22;22′
)を成形し、更に該部品本体をラミネート(10)のフ
ィルム層(12)側に付着させる工程から成り、部品本
体(22;22′)が、所定のラミネート(10)の光
沢と色を保持しながら、所定の型枠(18;18′)の
形状に成形され、型枠(18;18′)から取出された
後も、部品のラミネート付着面が所定のラミネートの光
沢と色を実質的に保持してなることを特徴とする成形部
品製造方法。 2、上記クリアコート層の厚さが約0.0127乃至0
.254mmであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製
造方法。 3、上記塗膜の厚さが0.0127乃至0.127mm
であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 4、上記用意されたラミネート(10)は略平坦であり
、成形の際は、熱硬化性、又は溶融された熱可塑性の共
重合体原料を該ラミネート(10)のフィルム層(12
)側から型枠内に射出し、該射出原料が該ラミネート(
10)を所定のラミネート(10)の光沢と色に実質的
な影響を与えずに引き伸ばすことを特徴とする請求項1
記載の製造方法。 5、上記ラミネート(10)を型枠(18)内で支持す
る前に、所定の引き伸ばされた形状に成形する予備成形
工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 6、上記付着工程において本体(22;22′)とフィ
ルム層(12)が化学的又は機械的に直接接合すること
により、両者間に接着面を形成してなることを特徴とす
る請求項1記載の製造方法。 7、上記ラミネート(10)のフィルム層(12)側が
、部品本体(22;22′)に成形・付着される前に、
接着促進剤を塗布されてなることを特徴とする請求項6
記載の製造方法。 8、上記ラミネート(10)を引き伸ばす時、クリアコ
ート層(14)と型枠(18′)の間に空気が封入され
るのを防ぐ工程を含んでなることを特徴とする請求項4
記載の製造方法。 9、上記ラミネート(10)の成形前に、 空気の封入を防止するためにクリアコート層(14)に
