本発明は、塗装前の固い部品表面(素地)に密着又は接
着させるラミネートの被膜を用いて塗装部品を製造する
方法に関するものであり、請求項1の前文でその特徴を
詳述すると共に米国特許第4,828,637号に一例

Claims (1)
びその両者に挟まれた塗膜(16)より成る所定の光沢
と色を備えたラミネート(10)から形成された塗装面
を有する成形部品の製造方法において、前記ラミネート
(10)を用意し、所定の型形状(20;20′)を有
する成形用型枠(18;18′)の注入口にフィルム層
(12)側が面するように該ラミネート(10)を型枠
内(18;18′)に支持し、部品本体(22;22′
)を成形し、更に該部品本体をラミネート(10)のフ
ィルム層(12)側に付着させる工程から成り、部品本
体(22;22′)が、所定のラミネート(10)の光
沢と色を保持しながら、所定の型枠(18;18′)の
形状に成形され、型枠(18;18′)から取出された
後も、部品のラミネート付着面が所定のラミネートの光
沢と色を実質的に保持してなることを特徴とする成形部
品製造方法。 2、上記クリアコート層の厚さが約0.0127乃至0
.254mmであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製
造方法。 3、上記塗膜の厚さが0.0127乃至0.127mm
であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 4、上記用意されたラミネート(10)は略平坦であり
、成形の際は、熱硬化性、又は溶融された熱可塑性の共
重合体原料を該ラミネート(10)のフィルム層(12
)側から型枠内に射出し、該射出原料が該ラミネート(
10)を所定のラミネート(10)の光沢と色に実質的
な影響を与えずに引き伸ばすことを特徴とする請求項1
記載の製造方法。 5、上記ラミネート(10)を型枠(18)内で支持す
る前に、所定の引き伸ばされた形状に成形する予備成形
工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 6、上記付着工程において本体(22;22′)とフィ
ルム層(12)が化学的又は機械的に直接接合すること
により、両者間に接着面を形成してなることを特徴とす
る請求項1記載の製造方法。 7、上記ラミネート(10)のフィルム層(12)側が
、部品本体(22;22′)に成形・付着される前に、
接着促進剤を塗布されてなることを特徴とする請求項6
記載の製造方法。 8、上記ラミネート(10)を引き伸ばす時、クリアコ
ート層(14)と型枠(18′)の間に空気が封入され
るのを防ぐ工程を含んでなることを特徴とする請求項4
記載の製造方法。 9、上記ラミネート(10)の成形前に、 空気の封入を防止するためにクリアコート層(14)に
