[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a siding board (hereinafter simply referred to as a board) with a male-female connection structure formed of thin metal plates, synthetic resin plates, etc., into a predetermined shape. To explain further, the present invention forms a large number of small ribs at a predetermined pitch on the side wall of the board, which prevents the decorative surface from becoming mountain-like or valley-like, and prevents the main body from deforming too much due to external force. The present invention relates to a siding board which also strengthens the engagement force of the insertion edge.

This kind of board, which has been used for a long time, has the disadvantage that the decorative surface has cracks and twists that appear after construction, which seriously impairs the aesthetic appearance. In addition, the decorative surface is extremely weak against external forces, and has the disadvantage of being deformed or crushed at the corners (boundary portions) between the decorative surface and the side wall. Furthermore, there is a disadvantage that the insertion edge easily separates from the insertion groove. These defects are caused by the fact that the board itself is made of a thin plate with a thickness of about 0.27 to 0.35 mm. It is simply an angled cross section with respect to external forces in the longitudinal direction of the board. The shape is not rigid enough to prevent residual stress from being exposed during molding. The insertion edge consists of a single flat plate. etc. can be mentioned. The best solution to this problem is to increase the thickness of the plate, but this has the disadvantages of increasing costs and imposing large restrictions on the molding shape.

In order to eliminate these drawbacks, the present invention takes full advantage of the workability of conventionally used thin metal plates and creates a large number of small ribs on the side wall of the main body so as to cross the longitudinal direction of the side wall. Formed at a predetermined pitch,
The present invention proposes a board in which the rigidity of the entire main body part is greatly strengthened, the decorative surface is prevented from deformation and twisting, and the engagement force of the insertion edge is strengthened.

An embodiment of the board according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. That is, FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a typical example of the above-mentioned board, in which 1 is a main body part with a rectangular decorative surface 2 and side walls 3 and 4 with vertical or inclined (not shown) side edges thereof.
It has a concave cross section. Reference numeral 5 denotes a male connecting portion, which projects outward from the lower end of the side wall 3 and has an insertion edge 6 and a tongue piece 7 whose tip is bent inwardly or outwardly.
It was formed from. Reference numeral 8 denotes a large number of small ribs formed on the side walls 3 and 4 using an embossing roll and a press so as to intersect (traverse) the longitudinal direction of the side walls 3 and 4. More specifically, as shown in FIGS. 2a to 2d, the small ribs 8 are formed from △
The cross section is protruded or recessed by d, and the vertical cross section has the shape shown in FIGS. 3a to 3f and FIG. 4. That is, as shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, the small rib 8 has the following formula: assuming that the height of the side walls 3 and 4 is h 0 and the height of the small rib is h 1 , h 1 = h 0 −2△h, c, As shown in d, h 1 =h 0 −△h. In addition, △h is the side wall 3,
4 and the height of the small rib 8. The longitudinal cross section of the small rib is semicircular as shown in Figure 3a, triangular as shown in Figure b, chevron shaped as shown in Figure c, trapezoidal as shown in Figure d, and trapezoidal as shown in Figure e. The small ribs 8 have a block shape or a plurality of mountain shapes as shown in Fig. f, and the width ΔW and pitch P of the small ribs 8 are set based on strength, appearance, and workability. Note that, in view of the ability to suppress stress concentration at the boundary between the small rib 8 and the side walls 3 and 4 and the formation of the side walls 3 and 4, it is preferable that the end portion in the width direction be a curved surface or an inclined surface. In addition, the small ribs 8 greatly strengthen the bending, compression, and rigidity mainly in the longitudinal direction and height direction of the side walls 3 and 4, and the decorative surface 2
In addition to suppressing deformation and twisting, compressive strength and
This also aims to strengthen the engagement force of the insertion edge 6. Reference numeral 9 denotes a female connecting portion, which bends the lower end of the side wall 4 inward and outward again to form an insertion groove 10 with a U-shaped cross section, and extends its lower edge 11 outward. It is formed from the extended portion 12.
Incidentally, if necessary, a protrusion 13 may be formed in the longitudinal direction on the extension part 12, and a tongue piece 14 may be formed at the tip thereof. In addition, the board according to the present invention can be a thin metal plate, such as a surface-treated steel plate, a stainless steel plate,
One type of copper plate, aluminum plate, Gulf steel plate, galvalume steel plate, etc. is formed by roll forming, extrusion, etc., with a width W , a length L, and a height H, as shown in FIG.

Now, to construct the board as shown in Fig. 1, fix the extension part 12 of the female connecting part 9 of board α 1 on the rim 15 as shown in Fig. 5 with nails β, and then install the board. The insertion edge 6 of the male connecting portion 5 of α 2 is inserted into the insertion groove 10 of the board α 1 , and then, although not shown, the extension portion 12 at the other end is fixed with a nail β. Therefore, to construct the wall, the above operations may be repeated in sequence.

What has been described above is only one embodiment of the board according to the present invention, and the board can also be formed as shown in FIGS. 6a-g and 7a-c. That is, Figures 6a to 6g relate to the overall shape of the board, and Figure a shows the shape of the side wall 3.

Figure b shows side walls with alternating inclination directions of the small ribs 8, c
The figure shows a side wall with small ribs 8 distributed sparsely and densely.

As mentioned above, according to the board according to the present invention,
Since a large number of small ribs are formed on the side walls 3 and 4, and moreover, they are formed so as to cross the longitudinal direction of the side walls, the decorative surface has a feature that no cracks, twists, or unevenness due to residual stress appear, resulting in a beautiful appearance. Further, since the main body has a cross section with rigidity that suppresses bending and deformation in the longitudinal direction, it has a characteristic that it does not easily deform or collapse due to external force. Furthermore, since the main body part does not deform and deformation of the insertion edge is suppressed, it has the advantage of being easy to construct.
