Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本考案は、シート状になつているビニル、ポリ
エチレン、ナイロン等の高分子フイルムを重ねて
溶着するときに用いる高分子フイルムの接合装置
に関するもので、とりわけシールド工法の不透水
膜被覆工法にとつて有用なものである。
[従来の技術] 製袋、梱包等においては、高分子フイルムを重
ねて超音波により溶着することが行なわれている このような高分子フイルムの溶着では、高分子
フイルムの材質や厚さが決ると、高分子フイルム
はそれに応じた一定速度で送りながら超音波で溶
着するようになつており、従来の装置において
は、高分子フイルムを送り速度の不規則な変化に
対する対策はなされていなかつた。
[考案が解決しようとする問題点] 高分子フイルムの材質や厚さに応じた一定の速
度で高分子フイルムを送りながら溶着していて
も、種々の要因で高分子フイルムの送り速度に不
規則な変化が生ずることがある。このため送り速
度が遅くなつた場合には高分子フイルムは溶けて
穴があき、送り速度が早くなつた場合には重ねて
ある高分子フイルムが十分に溶着されず、共に接
合の目的が達せられないことがあつた。
本考案は、接合しようとする高分子フイルムの
送り速度にむらが生じても、高分子フイルムが適
正に接合されるようにしようとするものである。
[問題点を解決するための手段] 本考案は、超音波発生器および振動子と、重ね
た高分子フイルムを超音波によつて溶着させるホ
ーンと、超音波発生器と振動子との間または超音
波発生器の電源に接続されたスイツチと、高分子
フイルムの送り装置とを備えて高分子フイルムを
連続的に溶着させる接合装置において、高分子フ
イルムの送り速度を検出するセンサーと、このセ
ンサーの検出した高分子フイルムの送り速度に応
じてスイツチの開閉時間を制御するスイツチコン
トローラと、を備えた高分子フイルムの接合装置
としたものである。
[作用] 高分子フイルムの送り速度をセンサーが検出
し、高分子フイルムの送り速度に応じてスイツチ
コントローラがスイツチの開閉時間を制御し、高
分子フイルムに対する超音波の印加時間を変える
ことになる。
[実施例] 以下、本考案の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明
する。
第1図において、1は超音波発生器であつて、
この超音波発生器1で発生した超音波は、スイツ
チ2、超音波振動子箱3内に収められている図示
しなて超音波振動子を経て、ホーン4に伝えられ
るようになつている。
5,6は高分子フイルムであつて、繰出しロー
ラ7を経てホーン4の下を通り、送りローラ8に
よつて第1図の左方に送られるようになつてい
る。ホーン4はスプリング9によつて下方へ押圧
されており、下方に設けられている受台10との
間で高分子フイルム5,6を押し付け、高分子フ
イルム5,6を超音波によつて溶着することにな
る。
11は速度センサーであつて、送りローラ8の
回転速度から高分子フイルム5,6の送り速度を
検出し、スイツチコントローラ12に入力するよ
うになつている。スイツチコントローラ12は速
度センサー11の検出した送り速度の変化を促え
て演算し、スイツチ2を適正に開閉して、高分子
フイルム5,6を最適な条件で接合するように、
スイツチ2の閉じている時間を制御するようにな
つている。
通常、かなり遅い速度で高分子フイルムを送
り、超音波を連続的に印加すれば超音波振動を長
く当てすぎることになり、第2図に示すように高
分子フイルム5,6が溶けて穴13があき、接合
の目的を達成することができない。また超音波振
動の印加時間が短かすぎれば、非溶着部分14が
残つてしまうことになる。ところが、例えば、3
秒間スイツチ2(第1図参照)を閉じて高分子フ
イルム5,6に超音波を印加し、例えば、10秒間
スイツチ2を開いて超音波の印加を中断するとい
うように、高分子フイルム5,6の送り速度に応
じてスイツチ2の閉じている時間を制御すれば、
第2図に示すように溶着部分15が連続し、高分
子フイルム5,6の適正な接合が行なわれること
になる。
なお、スイツチ2はリレーや半導体開閉素子を
含む開閉装置の総称である。
[考案の効果] 本考案は、高分子フイルムの送り速度が不規則
に変化しても、適正な接合を行なうことができる
効果がある。

第1図は本考案の一実施例の側面図、第2図は
接合状態を示す斜視図である。 1は超音波発生器、2はスイツチ、4はホー
ン、5,6は高分子フイルム、8は送りローラ、
11は速度センサー、12はスイツチコントロー

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 超音波発生器および振動子と、重ねた高分子フ
    イルムを超音波によつて溶着させるホーンと、前
    記超音波発生器と振動子との間または超音波発生
    器の電源に接続されたスイツチと、高分子フイル
    ムの送り装置とを備えて高分子フイルムを連続的
    に溶着させる接合装置において、高分子フイルム
    の送り速度を検出するセンサーと、該センサーの
    検出した高分子フイルムの送り速度に応じて前記
    スイツチの開閉時間を制御するスイツチコントロ
    ーラと、を備えたことを特徴とする高分子フイル
    ムの接合装置。
