As an electric nail polisher that reciprocates the polishing section, a technique disclosed in US Pat. No. 3,240,966 is known. As shown in FIG. 7, this is constructed by inserting an abrasive piece 54 into the tip of a drive shaft 53 driven by a motor 51 and a cam portion 52. However, polishing piece 5
4 into the drive shaft 53 is the same as the reciprocating direction, so if the inertia force due to the reciprocating movement or the sliding friction force between the nail surface and the polished surface 54a that occurs during nail polishing is large, There is a risk that the polishing piece 54 may fall off from the drive shaft 53, and in the event that it falls off, the drive shaft 53 may accidentally hit the nail, causing scratches on the nail during polishing. Furthermore, nail polishing is often performed by pressing the tip of the polishing surface 54a against the nail, but since the rear end of the polishing piece 54 is cantilevered by the drive shaft 53, the supporting force is unstable. However, there was a problem in that the free end of the tip would bend or wobble during nail polishing, making it difficult to reliably press the polishing surface 54a against the nail surface.

However, this tends to reduce the guiding effect and increase the load, making the device bulky and requiring complicated installation work, which is inconvenient for electric nail polishing machines that require frequent replacement. In particular, this type of nail polishing machine is used by women and girls who are not familiar with handling the machine, so it is desirable that the machine be easy to handle.

The abrasive piece 23 is formed into a plate shape from a hard material, and has an abrasive surface 37 formed on its lower surface, while a standing wall 36 is provided protruding from its upper peripheral edge to prevent it from falling off between the abrasive piece 23 and the base 22. By providing the means 39 and 49, the functions of the upper and lower surfaces (polishing, prevention of falling off) are independent, and the structure of the polishing surface 37 on the lower surface side in particular can be simplified.

のとすることができる。 Further, the falling-off prevention means 39, 49 are arranged so that the abrasive piece 2
By using a structure in which the abrasive piece 23 is elastically deformed in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction Q between the vertical wall portion 36 of No. 3 and the base portion 22 to prevent the abrasive piece 23 from falling off, the abrasive surface 37 is pressed against the nail surface. The polishing reaction force (in the reciprocating direction Q) and the engagement/disengagement force due to the elastic deformation of the drop-off prevention means 39, 49 do not directly interfere with each other.
Moreover, when the polishing piece 23 is attached, the base part 2
2 and the abrasive piece 23, a transmission part 40 contacts the polishing piece 23 so as to be driven in the reciprocating direction Q, and transmits reciprocating power;
42 is provided between the facing surfaces of the base portion 22 and the polishing piece 23, the polishing piece 23 is prevented from shifting in the reciprocating direction, and the polishing piece 23 is securely attached to the base portion 22. This means that there is no need to set the engagement/disengagement force unnecessarily large, and the engagement/disengagement force can be weakened to the extent that it will not fall off due to its own weight, making it possible to simplify the attachment/detachment operation.

The base portion 22 is reciprocated in the front-rear direction by the driving portion 10 in its attached state. Therefore, when the lower polishing surface 37 of the polishing piece 23 attached to the lower surface of the base portion 22 is pressed against the claw a, the surface of the claw a is polished. Polished surface 3
The pressing force P (see Fig. 2) applied to the abrasive piece 23 when the abrasive piece 7 is pressed against the claw a is
Since the direction is perpendicular to the reciprocating direction Q of No. 3, that is, the direction in which the polishing piece 23 is attached to the base portion 22 from below, the polishing piece 23
The polishing piece 2 is firmly attached to the base part 22 and does not fall off during nail polishing, and the polishing piece 2
The rattling of No. 3 is also prevented. Also, the polishing piece 23
Even if the abrasive piece 23 is strongly pressed against the claw a, the base part 22 on which the abrasive piece 23 is attached is firmly supported from above by the cover part 3, so the abrasive piece 23
It does not bend or shake unnecessarily, allowing stable nail polishing. Furthermore, since the locking pawl 39 as a means for preventing falling off is arranged on the vertical wall portion 36 so as to be elastically deformed in a direction perpendicular to the reciprocating direction Q of the polishing piece 23, the locking pawl 39 is prevented from being excessively deformed due to the reciprocating movement. There is no elastic deformation, and therefore there is no risk of damage to the locking pawl 39 or reduction in elastic force. Figure 4 shows how the cuticle b present at the proximal end of the nail a is being crushed;
While reciprocating the polishing piece 23 as described above, by pressing the circularly curved surface portion 23a projecting forward of the cover 3 against the linen b, the linen b will be crushed.

In this case, in order to prevent the polishing piece 23 from rattling in the reciprocating direction, the width of the recess 42 in the reciprocating direction is made equal to the diameter of the protrusion 42 to reliably transmit reciprocating power. Reference numeral 49 denotes a rattle-preventing rib as a drop-off prevention means protruding from the inner circumferential surface of the vertical wall portion 36, and abuts against the peripheral edge portion of the base portion 22. Even if the concave portion 42 is made horizontally elongated in this way, the horizontal wobbling of the polishing piece 23 is prevented by the rib 49 of the vertical wall portion 36 that abuts the base portion 22.
This prevents it from falling off.

Any material may be used as long as it can elastically deform in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction Q between the two and prevent the polishing piece 23 from falling off. Also, in any of the embodiments, the polishing piece 2
If 3 is made to have a symmetrical shape in the reciprocating direction, there is an advantage that it can be installed with the front and back directions reversed without any directionality in the installation direction, and in this way, the tip side, which is often pressed against the claw, can be polished. When the surface becomes worn, the polished surface on the rear end side can be attached to the distal end side, and can be easily attached without considering whether it is facing forward or backward. Furthermore, if the polishing surface 37 is divided into a highly rough polishing surface 37a and a low roughness polishing surface 37b as shown in FIG. 6, rough polishing and finishing polishing can be performed with a single polishing piece 23. It can be carried out. Of course, the above-mentioned detachment prevention means 39 may be provided on the base portion 22, and in this way, the same effects as in the above embodiment can be obtained.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the attachment part 21 provided on one end surface of the main body case 1 is attached to the lower surface of the attachment part 21 from below so as to be able to reciprocate, and in this attached state, the reciprocating drive part 10 inside the main body case 1 The base part 22 is driven in the reciprocating direction Q, and the abrasive piece 23 is detachably attached to the lower surface of the base part 22 from below. The base portion 22 and the abrasive piece 23 are connected to the base portion 22 and the abrasive piece 23.
The abrasive piece 23 is formed into a plate-like shape made of a hard material, and has an abrasive surface 37 formed on the lower surface thereof and a standing wall 36 protruding from the peripheral edge of the upper surface. and the base portion 22, drop-off prevention means 39, 49 are elastically deformed in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction Q to prevent the polishing piece 23 from falling off.
Even if the engagement/disengagement force of the drop-off prevention means 39, 49 between the abrasive piece 23 and the base part 22 is a weak engagement/disengagement force, the pressing force applied to the claw during actual use will remain unchanged on the base. It is used as the attachment force to the part 22, so there is no need to set it higher than necessary, and even inexperienced and weak women and girls can easily attach and detach it. Fatigue damage caused by repeated elastic deformation can also be suppressed. In addition, the polishing piece 23
Since this is attached to and removed from the base portion 22 from below, cleaning and removal of abrasive debris is easy, and it is easy to handle.
