This reciprocating nail polishing machine has the above-mentioned configuration, and when the main body part 2 is held and the switch button 5 is operated, the power part 7 is driven and its rotational motion is converted into a reciprocating motion by the drive part 10. , an abrasive section 4 connected to the drive section 10 via a drive shaft 18
reciprocates in the front and back direction. If the polishing surface 37 is then pressed against the claw a, the surface of the claw a will be polished. In this case, the polishing piece 23 is attached to the base portion 2 directly above it.
Since the polishing piece 2 is supported from above by the cover part 3, the polishing piece 23 can sufficiently resist the pressing force P (see Fig. 2) received from the nail a during nail polishing, and prevents it from unnecessarily bending or wobbling. There's nothing to do. Further, due to this pressing force P, the protrusion 40 is strongly fitted into the recess 42, and the polishing piece 23 is moved to the base portion 2.
It is firmly attached to 2 and does not wobble,
Allows for stable nail polishing. Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the tip of the abrasive part 4 is easily pressed against the claw a, but as described above, the protrusion 40 and the recess 4
2 is formed on the front part of the abrasive piece 23 and the base part 22, so that the pressing force P acts directly above the protrusion 40 and makes it possible to firmly fit the protrusion 40 into the recess 42. can. Of course, according to this nail polishing machine, the tip curved portion 23a of the polishing piece 23 can also crush the cuticle existing at the proximal end of the nail a.
