(Prior art and its problems) Earthen walls generally have low strength due to the material they are made of.
In addition, because the binding force between soil particles decreases over time due to internal chemical changes, etc., there is a problem that flaking occurs and the service life is shortened. Such peeling is particularly noticeable on the outer surface side, which is easily exposed to wind and rain and is subject to large temperature changes due to sunlight, etc. Furthermore, when applying a decorative finishing layer such as sprayed material, plaster, white cement, etc. to the surface of an earthen wall, the adhesion strength between the finishing layer and the earthen wall may be insufficient due to the small binding force between soil particles on the earthen wall surface. There was a problem that interfacial peeling was likely to occur.

(Means for Solving the Problems) This invention was made in order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems. It has extremely high strength, excellent durability, and has a reinforced structure with good adhesion strength to the decorative finishing layer. The purpose is to provide an earthen wall, and the technical means thereof is that a large number of small holes 2 are bored from the outer side of the earthen wall 1, and a primer 4 is penetrated and impregnated into the inside from the outer side of the earthen wall 1. A synthetic resin 3 is injected into a small hole 2 and hardened.

In Figures 1 and 2, 1 is an earthen wall made of pear-grained earth, etc., and its entire surface is covered from the outer surface 1a side to the inner surface 1a side.
A large number of small holes 2, 2... toward the b side and halfway to the middle position.
A synthetic resin 3 is injected into each of these small holes 2 to form a rod-shaped cured product.
Also, a primer 4 is installed inside from the outer surface 1a of the earthen wall 1.
(The shaded area) is penetrated and impregnated and solidified.

In the earth wall 1 having the above structure, the soil particles are strongly bonded to each other by the primer 4, and the synthetic resin 3 penetrates into this bonded area in a rectangular shape, that is, like a reinforcing bar against concrete. Therefore,
It is extremely strong and has no fear of peeling off even after a long period of time, making it extremely durable. Furthermore, since the bonding strength between soil particles on the outer surface 1a of the earth wall 1 is high, when a decorative finishing layer 5 made of spray material, plaster, white cement, etc. is provided, this finishing layer 5 and the earth wall The adhesion strength with 1 becomes sufficient and interfacial peeling is prevented.

As a means of forming such a reinforced earth wall,
For example, as shown in FIG. 3A, after drilling a large number of small holes 2, 2... from the outer surface 1a side of the earthen wall 1 with a drill or the like,
As shown in FIG. 3B, the liquid primer 4 is sprayed from the outer surface 1a side and also injected from the small holes 2, 2, . . . to penetrate into the inside. After the infiltrated primer 4 is solidified, a synthetic resin liquid may be injected and filled into the small holes 2, 2, and then hardened. The period required for solidifying the primer 4 varies depending on the type, but is generally about 4 days. Similarly, the curing of synthetic resin 3 varies depending on its type, but
For example, for epoxy resin, about one day is sufficient.

Here, as the synthetic resin 3, both thermosetting and thermoplastic resins can be used, but thermosetting resins, especially epoxy resins, are most suitable due to their strength, ease of handling, ease of availability, etc. In addition, various materials can be used as the primer 4, but in general, the material of the earthen wall 1 has a high alkalinity and tends to undergo chemical changes that cause cracking and peeling over time. It is preferable to use a material that has the property of reducing the amount of water. Such primers that reduce alkalinity are readily available as commercial products.

In the above embodiment, the primer 4 is applied to the outer surface 1 of the earthen wall 1.
Although the example is shown in which the infiltration penetrates from the a side to the middle part of the interior, the infiltration may also infiltrate all the way to the inner surface 1b side. Further, the small holes 2, 2, . . . may also be made to penetrate to the inner surface 1b side so that the synthetic resin 3 covers the entire width of the earthen wall 1.

(Effects of the invention) The reinforced earth wall according to this invention has extremely high strength because the soil particles are strongly bound together by the primer, and the hardened synthetic resin penetrates into this bound part. It has excellent durability without peeling even after a long period of time, and when a decorative finishing layer is formed on the outer surface, the adhesive strength with this finishing layer is high and interfacial peeling is difficult to occur.
