Abstract

A device for suspending a bundle of horizontal tubes in a vertical plane (1), the device comprising pairs (4, 5, 6) of vertical tubes (7, 8) provided with half-fins on their facing sides. The half-fins have a profile including notches of circular shape, having a radius slightly larger than the radius of the tubes in the bundle and being at the same spacing as said tubes, the notches being separated by tongues (16, 18, 20, 17, 19, 21) which project from the vertical tubes by a distance which is long enough to provide good support for the tubes of the bundle and which is short enough to ensure good thermal conduction from their projecting ends to their weld zones on the corresponding vertical tubes.

Such a device consists of a pair of vertical tubes with half fins on opposite sides. Such a device consists, by way of example, of fins having a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the horizontal tubes to be supported and provided with holes arranged at the same pitch as the bundle of horizontal tubes. Thus, each vertical tube has a half fin fixed to the half fin of the other vertical tube via a bridge placed between the bundles of horizontal tubes, but the central part of the bridge is in contact with the hot horizontal tube. and
Since it is relatively far away from the two vertical pipes, it is difficult to cool down. Bridges formed between vertical pipes are often exposed to high temperatures in corrosive gases, so they are susceptible to rusting in a short time.

Also, because it is difficult to insert horizontal tubes individually into the holes in the fins, this device can only be applied to single-loop heat exchangers.

Furthermore, it has also been proposed to form a welding saddle between the bundle of horizontal tubes and the vertical tubes. Although welded saddles are placed close enough to the vertical tubes to provide adequate cooling by heat conduction, the bundle of horizontal tubes is rigidly connected to the saddles, increasing stress due to thermal expansion or vibration, resulting in , the welds are prone to cracking.

Furthermore, it has also been proposed to form a weld flat between two adjacent parallel vertical tubes. However, this flat is too large and causes problems similar to those described with respect to perforated fins. The central part of the flat is difficult to cool due to conduction and is subject to excessively high temperatures, making it susceptible to destruction by corrosion.

On the other hand, US Pat. No. 3,267,913 consists of a pair of vertical tubes separated by a non-cutout zone and comprising half fins with a circular notch for accommodating a horizontal tube. The horizontal pipe is welded to the notch and is in contact with the vertical pipe.
Therefore, the horizontal pipe and the vertical pipe are tightly connected, and stress due to thermal expansion or vibration increases as described above.

According to the present invention, the above-mentioned object is a device for supporting a bundle of a plurality of horizontal pipes arranged parallel to each other in a vertical plane, the device comprising a pair of vertical pipes arranged to sandwich the bundle of horizontal pipes. and a first tongue-shaped member arranged in the other vertical plane and having one side fixed to one of the vertical pipes and the other side abutting each of the horizontal pipes; a second tongue-shaped member arranged in the vertical plane of the pipe, one side of which is fixed to the other of the vertical pipes, and the other side of which is configured to abut each of the horizontal pipes; The other sides of the first tongue-shaped member and the other sides of the second tongue-shaped member each include a plurality of notches whose bottom portions abut against the horizontal pipe, and each of the notches has a radius of curvature that corresponds to the horizontal pipe. This is achieved by means of a device that supports a bundle of horizontal tubes that are arcuate and have a radius of curvature greater than the radius of curvature of the tube.

According to the device of the present invention, the first tongue-like member and the second tongue-like member are each formed with an arc-shaped notch having a radius of curvature larger than the radius of curvature of the horizontal pipe, and the horizontal pipe is Because the horizontal pipe is supported so as to be in contact with the bottoms of two arc-shaped notches facing each other, the horizontal pipe can move within the notch even if stress is generated in the horizontal pipe due to thermal expansion or vibration. Weld cracks can be avoided and the first tongue and the second
Since the tongue-shaped members are respectively fixed to the pair of vertical pipes, a good cooling effect can be obtained. Therefore, the first tongue member and the second tongue member are less likely to suffer corrosion due to insufficient cooling.
