くなると、鋼桁の強度不足の問題が生じることが
当然予想される。このため、鋼桁上の打替位置ま
で床版を吊り上げるクレーンを進入させることが
困難なものとされ、従来は、橋梁直下あるいは近
くまで進入した自走式クレーンによつて、床版を
吊り上げこれを打ち替えたり、あるいはクレーン
車が進入できないような場合には、ケーブルクレ
ーン、フローテイングクレーンなどの設備によ
り、床版の打替工事を行なわざるをえず、工期と
工費が多大なものとなるなどの問題点があつた。

も、容易に床版の打ち替え工事を実施することが
でき、しかも橋りようの架設個所によつて床版を
吊り上げる設備を変更する必要もないので、工期
および工費を減少することができる等の優れた効
果を有する。
