(Prior art) When this type of air conditioner is operated, frost adheres to the outdoor heat exchanger, which impedes operation.
It also causes a decrease in heat exchange efficiency. Therefore, in order to prevent frost from forming, conventionally the operation was switched to the anti-frost cycle to heat and melt the frost.
Alternatively, it is generally removed by heating and melting using heater equipment.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) According to the conventional defrosting means described above, the function as an air conditioner is temporarily reduced because the refrigeration cycle is switched to the anti-frost cycle for a predetermined period of time, and the air conditioner is intermittently operated. It produces a pleasant sensation, and when using a heater, it requires particular energy for heating and special equipment is required, which is disadvantageous from an economic point of view.

(Means for solving the problem) The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages of the conventional methods and defrosts using an extremely simple and economical means. In a heat pump air conditioner that is equipped with an exchanger and respective fans and exhausts a portion of the indoor air to the outdoors, a heat pipe is installed that uses the heat retained in the indoor air to be exhausted outdoors as a heating source. It is characterized in that the heat radiating part of the heat pipe is integrally connected to the heat exchange part of the outdoor heat exchanger.

(Function) As mentioned above, so-called wall-mounted heat pump air conditioners, which have an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger, and air conditioning equipment such as fans for each inside the unit case, have recently been used to remove some of the dirty indoor air. A method is often used to exhaust the air to the outdoors.

The present invention utilizes the heat contained in the exhaust air from indoors, uses a heat pipe that acts as a heating source, and integrally connects the heat radiating part of the heat pipe to the heat exchange part of the outdoor heat exchanger. By providing this, the heat radiated heats the heat exchange section and effectively prevents the formation of frost.

(Effects of the invention) According to the invention, a heat pipe is used that uses the retained heat of the air exhausted from the room to the outside as a heat source, and its heat radiating part is integrally connected to the heat exchange part of the outdoor heat exchanger. The heat dissipated heats the heat exchange part of the outdoor heat exchanger and prevents frost from forming. Therefore, continuous operation can be continued without the need for defrosting by reversing the heat pipe action as in conventional methods. Moreover, it is economical because the use of energy can be omitted without particularly providing a heater facility, and it also has effects such as being able to be used in cold regions.
