Claims (1)
- スート（中心部材）の側方の一方にガラス微粉
末供給用のバーナを対峙させると共に、該スート
の反対側の他方には、当該スートの周囲を囲み、
ガス排気機能を有するチヤンバを設置し、前記バ
ーナからのガラス微粉末を前記スート表面に堆積
させつつ、残留ガスをチヤンバにより排気する光
フアイバ母材の製造装置において、前記バーナま
たは当該バーナ近傍に空気流の乱れを防止する遮
蔽板を取り付けたことを特徴とする光フアイバ母
材の製造装置。
