Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily move an article for a desirable purpose with a part of a support material or a coating layer held by hand without generating necessity of contact with hand and danger by setting a virtual straight line, which is positioned at a part of a support material laterally projecting from an article, namely, at a part of a coating layer, so that it dose not cross a cutting part or the predetermined cutting line except for a start and a terminal of the virtual straight line. CONSTITUTION: An article 2 is positioned on a rectangular support material, namely, a coating layer 1, and the support material, namely, the coating layer 1 and the article 2 such as a label, plaster, medical system come into contact with each other through adhesive agent freely to be mechanically separated from each other, and connected to each other at a contact surface thereof. The support material, namely, the coating layer 1 is provided with a triangle- shaped cutting part or the predetermined cutting line 3 started from a right end thereof in symmetry in both sides of the virtual horizontal center line. In response to sensibility of a contact surface of the article 2 to be protected, the cutting part or the predetermined cutting line 3 are formed so that it is not perfectly passed through in the thickness direction of the support material, namely, the coating layer 1 in a part, in which the cutting area or the cutting line 3 is extended under the article 2, and that the perforation or indent is formed so that a web is positioned between them in an area, in which the cutting area or the cutting line is extended outside of the article 2.

Releasing the article from the support layer, ie pulling away the covering layer, to expose the protected area is particularly difficult given the adhesive composite between both materials. This can be done after and during the exposure of the article surface to be protected by removing the support or covering layer, for example in order to maintain the adhesion of the adhesive layer, on surfaces sensitive to mechanical influences. In cases where protection against damage and/or contamination must be provided for maintenance purposes, e.g. for sealing the surface to prevent escape of volatile components applied to the surface. This is especially true.

In particular, attempts to separate the two with fingernails, knives or other instruments can result in unwanted contact and even damage to the surface to be protected. Moreover, complete separation of the two does not occur, i.e. parts of the support or coating layer remain sticky on the surface to be protected, which cannot be further removed from the surface without damaging it. It is very difficult to do so.

Such a process is particularly useful when the area to be protected is the sterile surface of a bandage, the skin-contact layer of a medical plaster, or when the surface contains active substances, e.g. pharmaceutical substances. Particularly unapplicable. Such substances are administered topically and are brought into contact with the skin only at the site of administration, for example, as employed in plaster systems for the treatment of actinic keratoses. This is what is proposed in West German patent application no. P3901551.3.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a straight cut or a predetermined portion of the support or covering layer can be removed from the article adhesively bonded to said layer by bending and/or pulling said layer away. It has been proposed to provide a cutting line in the support or coating layer. However, the perfect, complete, easy exposure of the surface of the article or the corresponding removal from this
This is not guaranteed especially when considering sensitive articles such as medical plasters, plastic moldings, very flexible thin aluminum foils, aluminum laminates, polymer foils, etc. Particularly in the case of small articles with small surfaces to be protected, it is difficult to completely expose them. When using several types of articles or several connected parts of articles, they are placed in a release tape.
It is also known to connect by means of a type of tape (sing tape) in such a way that the part connected with this tape can be removed from the support layer in one operating step by pulling on the protruding part of the tape. However, before the individual parts can be used or applied, they must be released from the release tape.

Strips or threads of a suitable material, such as plastic, fiber or metal, are provided between the support layer and the article located thereon, with these strips or threads projecting from one end of the article or part thereof. It is also known to allow separation. However, this structure and its formation require considerable expense and cannot be applied in all cases.

European Patent Application No. 0284963 proposes a separating aid as shown in FIG. This separation aid consists of a mechanically removable substratum (1, 1) bonded to a planar flexible support material (1,1).
1, 2). This has a non-linear cut or a predetermined cut line (1°4) in the support material for each respective substrate (1°2). By applying a force to the support material in a direction perpendicular to the substrate contact surface, a portion of the substrate defined by a predetermined cut line or section can be bent in the direction of the substrate. This causes at least a portion of the substrate (1, 2) to be freed from the support material in the end region adjacent to the cutting line or cut (1, 4), whereby the support material (1, 2)

The use of the dosing aid according to the invention is advantageous in each case when there are two parts defined in the nature of the support or the covering layer with the article glued to the support or the backing layer, i.e. only -
It can be easily and reliably removed from the support or coating not only when one article is present, but also when multiple articles are adhesively but mechanically releasably connected to the support or coating. separated, thereby simultaneously exposing a predetermined portion of the protective surface of the article to its intended purpose by means of a hand-grasped support or part of the covering layer, without the need or risk of contact by the consumer. This makes it possible to easily move parts of objects.

Starting from its right end and symmetrically about an imaginary horizontal center line, the supporting material or covering layer 1 is provided with a roughly triangular cut or predetermined cut line 3. This cut or cut line 3 may be, for example, a notch or a perforation, which spans a portion of the thickness of the support or covering layer, and which has a slightly larger cross section with a slightly larger number of perforations arranged slightly closer together. has. However, this cut or predetermined cut line consists of a slightly larger number of slightly longer indentations interconnected by a web.
It may be of the form t1on). In practice, attention should be paid in this connection to the fact that undesirable premature cutting of the support material or covering layer, for example during packaging, is largely prevented.

Depending on the sensitivity of the contact surface of the article 2 to be protected, the cut or predetermined cutting line 3 may also completely penetrate the thickness of the support or covering layer 1 in the region extending below the article 2. In areas extending outside the article 2, perforations or indentations should be formed such that the webs are located between them so that they do not overlap. In any case, its formation should be chosen in such a way that reliable protection of the surface to be protected of the article 2 is possible, but defined by the cut or predetermined cut line 3 of the support or covering layer. The part 4 can be easily and safely separated from the support or covering layer 1 in a defined manner. Regarding this, as a practical matter, part 4
and article 2 are interconnected when said portion is separated from the rest of the support or covering layer.
and complete separation between the support material or coating layer and also the article 2
must be ensured in such a way that a reliable adhesion to the part 4 of each case is ensured.

Depending on the environment, this asymmetrical arrangement and shape allows the article 2 to be moved to the location to be administered without contacting the contact surface of the article by means of a separation area which covers part of the article 2 and projects from the article by means of a portion 4a. When administered to a person, it may be suitable to facilitate the use or administration of the article 2. For this purpose, the exposed surface of the article is first fixed at the dosing site, then the separating part 4 of the support or covering layer 1 is separated, and finally the article is brought into full contact with the dosing site. In this case, the active substance-containing parts or the surfaces of the articles prepared for other purposes must not be touched by fingers or any other instruments, such as tweezers, for example.
