As shown in the figure, a television camera 1 and a surveillance monitor 2 are connected by a transmission line 3 consisting of one cable.
Since they were installed in pairs, as the number of TV cameras 1 increases, the number of cables also increases, which not only complicates the wiring of the transmission line 3, but also increases the number of monitoring monitors 2, making construction time-consuming. In addition, it has the disadvantage of requiring a large installation space and being expensive. In addition, since humans are responsible for monitoring, there is a drawback that if the number of monitoring monitors 2 increases, constant monitoring becomes difficult.

In the above configuration, a video signal obtained by the television camera 1 is input to the signal processing device X. In the signal processing device X, the input video signal is
The D converter 4 converts it into a digital signal and sends it to the signal processing section 5. The signal processing section 5 performs processing such as binarization and line drawing on this digital signal, simplifies it, and stores it in the storage device 6 as image information. The data is transmitted to the receiving device Y and stored in its storage device 9 as well. Furthermore, several sample patterns are stored and registered in the storage device 6 as information on screen changes that may actually occur, and are numbered so that the patterns can be clearly identified. The collation detection unit 7 compares the image signal input from the television camera 1 subsequently with the image information in the storage device 6, and when a change occurs, performs calculation to extract the change, and stores it in the storage device 6. The change information is matched with sample patterns, and the closest pattern is selected and compared with information such as its number, shape, type, etc. As a result, it is determined which variation pattern it is, encoded and sent to the transmission line 3, and if this variation pattern is determined to be abnormal, the information is encoded again and transmitted to the transmission line 3. Send to. Also, this verification detection section 7
It is also possible to provide a function to select and control the signals to be sent.

The signal transmitted via transmission path 3 is sent to receiving device Y.
received at The receiving device Y includes a storage device 9 in which the signal received by the receiving section 8 and the same image information and sample pattern information as in the storage device 6 are stored and registered.
The information is compared and verified, and the results are combined and displayed on the monitoring monitor 2. Further, the receiving section 8 has an alarm output function and can also output an alarm by operating a buzzer, lamp, etc.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a plurality of television cameras 1 are connected to one signal processing device After performing signal processing similar to that described above, the television camera 1 sends out a monitoring signal along with number information to the transmission line 3. In this case, it is necessary that image information and sample pattern information corresponding to each television camera 1 are stored and registered in the storage device 9 of the receiving device Y.

As described above, in the present invention, the video signal from the television camera is simplified and the changes in the video signal are patterned, which makes signal processing easier and allows quick response because the signal processing speed is high. At the same time, peripheral devices such as storage devices are small and economical. Further, since the signal transmission becomes simple by simplifying the video signal and patterning and encoding the changes thereof, the transmission path can also be simplified. Furthermore, by patterning the changes in the signal, it becomes easier to determine abnormalities. Furthermore, since the signal changes are processed by a machine, monitoring can be mechanized.

A signal processing device that compares the change pattern and outputs the simplified video signal as a code, and receives the output of the signal processing device via a transmission line and outputs the simplified video signal. The signal is stored, and the code of the variation pattern is compared with a pre-stored variation pattern to determine the corresponding variation pattern, and this variation pattern is combined with the simplified video signal. What is claimed is: 1. An abnormality monitoring device comprising: a receiving device that outputs a signal and outputs an alarm when the variation pattern is abnormal; and a monitoring monitor that receives the output from the receiving device and displays an image.
