Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an abnormal event detector while improving the reliability and saving power by storing a fixed picture of steady-state and subtracting the fixed picture and a picture obtained from a television camera to raise an alarm based on the output. CONSTITUTION:The fixed picture is inputted and stored in a picture buffer 5 from an output of a television camera 1 in advance at first. Then the circuit is switched, a picture of the camera 1 is inputted to a picture memory 6 and an output signal of the picture buffer 5 and the picture memory 6 is inputted to an operating circuit 7. The output of the picture memory 6 is subtracted from the output of the picture buffer 5 in the operating circuit 7 and the result is displayed on a receiver 3. Thus, the picture emphasizing the result of extraction of changed part due to elapse of time is displayed, resulting that a control circuit 4 is activated to raise an alarm sound thereby detecting an abnormal event.
