図はグリース飛散量のグラフである。第７図は従
来の密封装置の断面図、第８図は第７図の密封装
置を改良したものの一部分の断面図である。 １……固定外輪、２……回転内輪、３……転動
体、５……磁性流体保持部材、６……磁性流体、
７……潤滑剤堰止め用リング、９……シールリツ
プ、１０……非接触密封部。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 内輪回転型の転がり軸受の内部雰囲気と外
    部雰囲気とを遮断する密封装置であつて、 磁性流体保持部材と、磁性流体と、潤滑剤堰止
    め用リングと、シールリツプとを備え、 前記磁性流体保持部材は、固定外輪に取り付け
    られて回転内輪の外周面との間に微小間隙を形成
    するものであり、 前記磁性流体は、前記微小間隙に、磁性流体保
    持部材と回転内輪との間に形成される磁気回路に
    よつて保持されるものであり、 前記潤滑剤堰止め用リングは、磁性流体保持部
    材よりも軸受内部側に位置し、磁性流体保持部材
    に軸方向で対向する状態で回転内輪に取り付けら
    れたものであり、 前記シールリツプは、磁性流体保持部材におけ
    る軸受内部側の側面に設けられ、かつ潤滑剤堰止
    め用リングの外周面に半径方向で対向して非接触
    密封部を形成するものであることを特徴とする転
    がり軸受の密封装置。 (2) 請求項(1)項に記載の転がり軸受の密封装置
    において、前記非接触密封部が、転動体ピツチ円
    径よりも半径方向内径側に形成されることを特徴
    とする転がり軸受の密封装置。
